Grey Poupon's Pardon Me Lost Footage ad airs during Oscars

Those of you that took our tip and tuned in for last night's Academy Awards may have caught the latest iteration of the famous Grey Poupon commercials, featuring a pair of Rolls-Royce sedans and their condiment-loving stewards. The update to the 1981 commercial was only shown in part on television, however, as the mustard company directed viewers to its website to see the entirety of the Lost Footage spot. Of course if you didn't bother then, you can just scroll down to see the full-length two-minute commercial here.
As you're viewing, note that the Grey Poupon marketers did not, it would appear, get official sanction from Rolls-Royce this time around. While the Rollers in the commercial have all sorts of James Bond-like accouterments, they don't appear to have the official Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornaments, for example, and they have restyled lights and grilles. Check out the new spot below, and see if it stacks up to the iconic Pardon Me original.

2016 Rolls-Royce Dawn opens up in public [w/video]

This is the third time I've seen this exact car. Rolls-Royce first showed me the Dawn at a private residence in Beverly Hills, then I saw it behind closed doors in Pebble Beach. Now it makes its official public debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show, and even though the car is old news to me, it's drawing quite a crowd. Of course, there's always reason to get excited when someone says, "New Rolls-Royce." The Dawn is a really pretty, four-seat convertible. It shares a lot of its underpinnings with the Ghost and Wraith, but nearly 80 percent of the body panels are new. Under that long hood sits Rolls' 6.6-liter, twin-turbo V12, producing 563 horsepower and 575 pound-feet of torque, mated to the silky-smooth ZF eight-speed automatic transmission. Rolls-Royce says the Dawn will be its most versatile canvas yet, with nearly endless possibilities for customization. I like the blue and orange of the showcar, but I'm excited to see how different colors look on this nicely sculpted, elegant convertible. Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV reveals its rear to the cameras

Last week, Rolls-Royce released some official photos of its upcoming SUV, code-named Project Cullinan. The SUV was still wearing full camouflage, and we could only see the front half, but it was our first peak at the new vehicle. Now, thanks to one of our spy photographers, we can see the rest. Immediately noticeable are the rear-hinged, suicide-style rear doors. There appears to be a dummy handle at the trailing edge of the door, but there's no hiding the real thing, which match up nicely with the front handles. Also evident is the plain and simple roof line. No flashy curves here, just simple lines and angles. In fact, the profile of the rear hatch is a bit reminiscent of the Land Rover Range Rover. The hatch drops down to a low-profile rear bumper that features squared-off cutouts for the exhaust. There are couple more details we spot in these photos as well. The unmistakable Rolls-Royce grille looks a bit more rounded than what we saw in the official photos. The result is a more familial look to the Ghost-based Rolls-Royce models. Also noticeable is the strong shoulder line found on every Rolls that runs just below the windows from the headlights to the tail. We can't quite see the tail end of the feature line because of some false body work, but it certainly appears to run the length of the car. See for yourself in the gallery above. Related Video:
