Here is my 86 Rolls Royce Silver Spirit. Alpine white over deep red leather and wood interior. I have owned this car a long time. 10 years at least. Factory R/R Chrome wheels. Factory phone. Folding wood picnic tables in the back seat. Beverly Hills custom dealer ordered car when new. Cost over $120,000 new back in 1986! The car still has the "Look" today. Body, interior and paint are original and in very good condition. I used to drive this car to work, dinner parties, shows, ect several times a week and the car never let me down. About 5 years ago, I parked it in my garage and have not used it since. Everything worked fine on the car when I parked it. I start it once in a while and back it out of the garage to wash the dust off then I park it again. It still starts right up with a charged battery, however, I would not chance driving the car again until everything was checked over by a Rolls Royce service man just for the fact that the car has not seen the road in a long time. These are current photos I took of the car last summer. I would say it's going to at least need a full service before you try to drive it. As I said, the car is in good condition, however, do not expect to jump in and drive it home. Again, the car never let me down but since it's been sitting for 5 years, it would be wise to bring a trailer. After thinking it over, I just do not have the time to enjoy this car anymore, I am building a new house and we have two new babies so the money will help finish the house. My reserve is more than fair. The reserve is lower than you might think and I really want the Rolls to go to a good home. The car has a little famous history to it. A current and now famous reality show star rode to their prom in this car before they became known! I was the driver. I will disclose this information only if you ask. This is alot of car for the money. Serious bidders only. Ebay is not a game. It takes time and money to run an auction. If you bid, be for real please. If you bid and win, you own the car period. If you are new to Ebay and do not know the rules of bidding or, if you have little or zero feedback, please contact me first before you bid. I reserve the right to remove a fishy bid. My feedback is 100% Positive since I signed up on Ebay over 10 years ago. Thank you for your interest.

Rolls-Royce goes glam, celebrates Art Deco heritage in Paris
Thu, 27 Sep 2012Rolls-Royce has used the 2012 Paris Motor Show to pull the covers off its art deco-inspired Phantom saloon, Phantom Drophead Coupé and Ghost models. These three bespoke machines are said to pay homage to the 1925 Paris Exhibition or Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes. Not coincidentally, the phrase 'art deco' was coined at that very show.
These three models are finished in period-correct color schemes and feature details that include mother of pearl and silver inlays and ornamental glassware. According to Giles Taylor, Design Director Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, "Art Deco was defined by theatre, glamour and a sense of excitement. Working to create contemporary interpretations of these classic themes has been enormously rewarding for everyone in my bespoke design team." But of course.
Feel free to check out our live gallery of high-res images above along with the official shots released by Rolls-Royce below. There's also a press release or two waiting for your prying eyes, if you're so inclined.
Rolls-Royce predicts it will set a delicious production record in 2020
Mon, Apr 27 2020Rolls-Royce suspended production at its Goodwood, England, factory in March 2020 in response to the coronavirus pandemic, but there's at least one part of its business that's not affected by the temporary shutdown. The 250,000 bees that live and work near its factory are on track to set another production record in 2020. The BeeMW-owned (sorry) firm opened its Bee Apiary in 2017. It currently consists of six hives named Phantom, Wraith, Ghost, Dawn, Cullinan, and Spirit of Ecstasy, respectively. Rolls-Royce announced the quarter-million bees that buzz around its premises emerged from winter in excellent health, and they're expected to make even more honey in 2020 than in 2019 (though Rolls-Royce didn't specify a quantity). Clearly, social distancing and work-from-home orders don't apply here. Rolls-Royce works with local beekeepers to process the honey when it's ready, but don't look for it in the breakfast aisle the next time you're out buying groceries. It's exclusively served to the company's guests, like the customers who travel to Goodwood to configure or take delivery of a car. Put another way, a taste of Rolls-Royce-branded honey will cost you at least $300,000 and a round-trip ticket to the British countryside. Surprisingly, the rivalry between Rolls-Royce and Bentley continues in the world of beekeeping. In 2019, Bentley built two giant hives for 120,000 bees near its headquarters in Crewe, England. It predicted they'd make about 33 pounds of honey annually, which amounts to about 50 jars. Ford keeps tens of thousands of bees, too; it's caring for at least 80,000 bees near the Rouge factory that currently manufactures the F-150. Bees are an often-overlooked part of the ecosystem. Plants depend on pollination to reproduce, and bees are nature's main pollinators; we'd ultimately have less food if bees were eradicated from the planet. They're endangered in many parts of the world, which is why some automakers are choosing to give them a home. Related Video: Featured Gallery Rolls-Royce Bee Apiary Green Weird Car News Rolls-Royce
Rolls-Royce developing new convertible
Wed, 06 Aug 2014Rolls-Royce is not a company that makes a lot of different vehicles, but of the ones it does, it tends to offer several versions. That's how we end up with sedan, long-wheelbase, coupe and (in the former's case) convertible versions of the Phantom and Ghost. And now Goodwood has confirmed development of another model.
Although details in the press release below are few and far between, it does promise to "deliver effortless, open-top touring... with an engaging and exhilarating driving experience." CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös added: "We are currently developing an exciting and thoroughly contemporary interpretation of a pinnacle drophead tourer which will introduce even more discerning men and women to Rolls-Royce ownership."
What that tells us is that the new model - set to reach showrooms "by mid-2016" - will be a convertible that's exciting to drive and more youthful than the Phantom Drophead Coupe. In other words, and in all likelihood, we're looking at the convertible version of the Ghost-based Wraith fastback (like the one we recently spotted undergoing testing, pictured above). Expect it, then, to carry the same 6.6-liter twin-turbo V12, but with the added rush of wind in your hair.
