If you're looking at inventory from rollsbentleyimports,  I urge you to google search them! Do not let Graham Brownlow steal your money!

Graham Brownlow is unresponsive, and refuses any responsibility in this apparent fraud.

It brings me no pleasure in posting this message, The Rolls Royce in the photo above was purchased by myself from a seller here on Ebay,  the seller being rollsbentleyimports.   The car was represented to be in excellent original condition with only 55,000 miles and having only had one prior owner. I had also spoke to Graham on the telephone and he maintained that this car was as advertised. The ad also stated that the Shadow had been maintained and just had been serviced.  I was impressed with the excellent seller feedback remarks left on rollsbentleyimports seller pageand I made the mistake of not having the car inspected as I am nearly 2000 miles away from the seller.Little did I know what a mistake this would turn out to be...   Having a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II had been a life long dream in my family, until I did business with Graham Brownlow.

Here are just some of the issues not disclosed by  Graham Brownlow of rollsbentleyimports.

  1) Car took over three weeks to arrive after payment of over 23k was sent.
  2) Car was in such a state of disrepair, wouldn't drive off of truck.
  3) Serious leaks of all systems.
  4) Towed Shadow to highly qualified RR tech for full inspection, at great $$$.
  5) RR shop claims $13,460.53 needed just for car to be road legal in CA state!
  6) Second independent RR Tech in Los Angeles gives quote of $28,000.00  least amount needed for car to be in decent cosmetic and driving condition, and only decent condition at that.
 7) Emissions equipment absent entirely, all cats, egr, etc  unacceptable!
  8) Completely worn out front and rear suspension components, as well as badly rusted.
  9) Entire brake system needing complete rebuild, very dangerous!!!
  10) Transmission fluid burnt, shifts are harsh and transmission may require replacement.

11)Paint bubbles everywhere, prior bodywork improperly performed.
     12) Extensive rust throughout undercarriage, very dangerous because of location of some of the rust near and around suspension components.
     13) Power seats frozen into place at the rear most position, unable to even sit properly in car.
     14) Dangerous fuel line leaks from front and rear.
     15) Thin leather dye repair job which has broken when touched?
     16) Mold in rear carpet area.
     17) Accumulator and all spheres in need of replacement.
     18) Banks A and B of Carbs need to be rebuilt.
     19) Rear diff worn out, whines at speed.
     20) Front windscreen badly pitted.
     21) Door locks not working.
     22) Dizzying exhaust leak into interior, very dangerous!!!!
     23) Tired engine, unacceptable levels of blow by and uneven compression across all cylinders.
     24) Tire side walls cracked, hubcaps badly dented and scratched.
     25) Radiator clogged, Tech said engine mechanical condition is evidence of overheating prior to having received car.

Ebay buyer protection didn't help me because of the age of this vehicle. I should have done my homework.

Cargo ship carrying 1,200 Jaguars and Land Rovers deliberately run aground [w/video]

Mon, Jan 5 2015

A cargo ship carrying a load of new cars out of Southampton has run aground in the English Channel in between England and the Isle of Wight. The vessel apparently suffered some sort of failure just 45 minutes after leaving port that caused it to list heavily to the starboard side before the crew deliberately beached it on Bramble Bank to prevent the ship from capsizing altogether. The vessel, called the Hoegh Osaka, is a 590-foot car carrier weighing some 57,000 tons and registered in Singapore. Although several automakers (including Honda and Bentley) were reportedly looking into whether they had cars on board, the vessel is said to have been filled to approximately one-third its capacity, with 1,400 vehicles on board – including 1,200 Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles, 65 Mini models and one Rolls-Royce Wraith. 70 to 80 pieces of construction equipment were also said to be on board. The Hoegh Osaka was en route from the southern British port of Southampton to Bremerhaven, Germany. Fortunately, no major injuries have been reported. The crew was mostly airlifted by helicopter off of the beached ship, with two crew members evacuated by lifeboat. One crew member reportedly jumped over 25 feet off the ship into the water before being immediately retrieved by rescue workers. According to the Daily Mail, two crew members were treated for non-life-threatening injuries, including a broken leg. It may take several days, if not longer, to extract the vessel from the sand bank and ascertain the damage to the ship and its cargo. An early attempt to free the ship with tugboats failed, meaning that the Maritime and Coastguard Agency may have to wait until more favorable high tides to try again before towing the ship back into the port. Bramble Bank, where the vessel was run aground, is a well-known obstacle to maritime navigators. The Queen Elizabeth 2 ran aground there in November 2008 with 1,700 passengers on board, but was quickly freed by four tugboats and was able to continue on its way. Two local yacht clubs also play a cricket match there every year at low tide. The vessel's operator, Hoegh Autoliners, praised the skill and quick thinking of the crew in acting to prevent the ship's capsizing by running her aground on the soft, sandy shoal. Rolls-Royce Phantom DHC gets special Nighthawk treatment

Wed, Feb 4 2015

We see info on a lot of special edition Rolls-Royces coming across our desks here at Autoblog, and most of them are destined for some far-flung Asian market. But not this one. This one is just for North America. It's called the Nighthawk edition, and it's based on the Phantom Drophead Coupe (Rolls-speak for "convertible"). It made its debut in Phoenix during the Super Bowl, but Rolls has just released the full skinny on it now. Limited to just nine examples, the Rolls-Royce Phantom DHC Nighthawk edition is "inspired by the sleek yet bold designs of stealth aircraft," the most iconic of them known as the F-117 Nighthawk. The Rolls cabrio features a metallic black paintjob with a matte black hood and windscreen frame and an interior decked out in carbon fiber trim, black and red leather and instruments with glowing orange tips. It's a stark take on a decidedly luxurious automobile, and only goes to show the extent to which the Rolls-Royce Bespoke department can transform one of its vehicles. ROLLS-ROYCE PHANTOM 'NIGHTHAWK' MAKES A BOLD NORTH AMERICAN DEBUT IN PHOENIX ARIZONA The latest Rolls-Royce exclusively created for North American customers has arrived in Arizona this evening. The first of nine Phantom Drophead Coupe 'Nighthawk' Bespoke Collection cars hit the streets of Phoenix, featuring bold design and a low profile inspired by stealth technology in modern aerospace development. 'Nighthawk' features a combination of modern materials and subtle colour to create a new contemporary interpretation of a classic Rolls-Royce motor car. Following its first public drive in Phoenix, Arizona this evening, 'Nighthawk' will be on display to millions of Americans during the festivities surrounding Super Bowl XLIX. Phantom Drophead Coupe 'Nighthawk' Collection These nine stunning Phantom Drophead Coupes showcase the unique design capabilities of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars' Bespoke team, and are now available through the company's 41 North American retail dealers. Inspired by the sleek yet bold designs of stealth aircraft, 'Nighthawk's' designers have used cutting edge technology and materials to ensure the stunning Rolls-Royce Phantom Bespoke Drophead Coupe will not go unnoticed. Incorporating the latest design and technology with the super-luxurious hallmarks of the brand, 'Nighthawk' features a lustrous Diamond Black Metallic paint with a Matt Diamond Black bonnet. The windscreen surround design is inspired by radar-absorbent material (RAM) coating used in aviation.

Zero-emission zones are forcing Rolls-Royce to develop its first EV

Wed, Sep 23 2020

Rolls-Royce confirmed its first series-produced electric car will debut before the end of 2020. The BMW-owned firm is pivoting toward electrification to give its customers access to city zero-emission zones. Instead of putting batteries in one of its existing models, the company will enter the EV segment with a new nameplate. Unverified reports claim the car will replace the Wraith and the Dawn, so it could arrive as a coupe and/or as a convertible, and Automotive News learned it will ride on Rolls-Royce's modular aluminum platform. It's too early for executives to provide technical specifications. Rolls-Royce could choose to borrow components from its parent company, or it could develop the technology on its own. Regardless, the brand stressed its customers aren't clamoring for a zero-emission options, but regulations are forcing Rolls to go electric. "There is no demand from customers, but we need to be in a position to sell them a car if legislation forbids them from driving a combustion-engined car into the center of a city," a spokesperson told Automotive News. Company CEO Torsten Muller-Otvos announced the model is currently being developed, and it's scheduled to make its debut "within this decade." He added an electric powertrain fits the brand's image perfectly, because it's silent and it delivers the mammoth amount of torque customers expect, whether they're driving or being driven. Batteries add weight, but no one buys a Rolls-Royce thinking they're getting a nimble, feather-light car. In the meantime, Rolls-Royce will continue fine-tuning its mighty V12 engine, which it anticipates will power most of the cars it builds until the end of the 2020s. And, don't expect it to release a plug-in hybrid model. It's skipping gasoline-electric technology and going straight from 12-cylinders to electric motors. Rolls-Royce has been on the fence about electrification for about a decade. It introduced an electric version of the last-generation Phantom named 102EX at the 2011 edition of the Geneva auto show, and it briefly considered giving the sedan the proverbial green light for production. It backpedaled when it realized the technology still had serious limitations, notably in terms of driving range, and that its customers weren't interested in going electric. Engineers tested hybrid prototypes in the 2010s, but they remained at the test mule stage.
