This is a daily driver with some cosmetic flaws as shown in the pictures.  The #2 brake system line has a leak but the brakes work.  There is an indication of a slight leak in the exhaust manifold.   The air conditioner and windshield wipers are not working. Car is offered "as is".

All in all this is a lovely, elegant and comfortable car with a long life ahead of it and it could be easily brought up to car show quality.  This is the last model year of the Silver Shadow and is one of a small number built with the next-generation fuel injected engine.  These fuel injected cars were shipped only to be sold in California.  The car has always been serviced by a Rolls Royce certified repair shop. I can provide service records for the past eight years I have owned the car.

I had wanted a Rolls Royce ever since I was twelve years old and finally bought it for my fiftieth birthday.  I meant to keep it for the rest of my life and am only parting with it now because I am selling everything and moving to Mexico.  The costs and logistics of importing a classic car to Mexico are just too prohibitive.  I've read that we are only custodians of these magnificent automobiles so I have decided to let her go to someone else who will appreciate her as much as I have.

I wanted to be sure to point out the flaws as well as to show that it's still a beautiful car. There are over 60 photos on this Flikr Page:

2014 Rolls-Royce Wraith is everything you need, everything you don't [w/videos]

Wed, 06 Mar 2013

It's not often that we get to talk about a new Rolls-Royce, what with the fact that the company's current model line is basically made up of two vehicles. But that all changes here at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, with the introduction of what might be the most emotional Roller of modern times, the Wraith.
The new two-door Rolls is effectively a Ghost coupe, and it stands to reason that this is Royce's answer to the Bentley Continental GT, albeit at a higher price point. Much higher, actually - the 245,000-euro - $320k USD - price of entry for the Wraith is about $100,000 more than a Continental GT Speed coupe. Woof. And to our eyes, all that extra money isn't buying you much in the looks department, as the collective opinion of the Autoblog editors on-site in Geneva is that it's more imposing than elegant.
But the Wraith will no doubt be a special, exclusive, impressive machine for anyone who plunks down that sort of cash. For starters, it's powered by a V12 that puts out an impressive 624 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque mated to an eight-speed ZF "Satellite Aided" transmission. This nifty cog-swapper actually works with GPS to not only pre-select the right gear for the portion of road you're on, but for the next portion of you'll be driving on, as well. That, friends, is cool.

Even in a down economy, Rolls-Royce is on a roll

Limited Volume, Big Margins Spell Success
Bigger isn't always better, especially when it comes to selling super luxury. Rolls-Royce CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös expects the British automaker to again post a record year, despite the economic troubles in Europe and weak growth in both the US and China.
"It is not all doom and gloom out there," Müller-Ötvös explains, noting that the declining sales in Europe and elsewhere have been offset by good performance for the marque in the Middle East, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong and Russia.

Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV reveals its rear to the cameras

Fri, Dec 9 2016

Last week, Rolls-Royce released some official photos of its upcoming SUV, code-named Project Cullinan. The SUV was still wearing full camouflage, and we could only see the front half, but it was our first peak at the new vehicle. Now, thanks to one of our spy photographers, we can see the rest. Immediately noticeable are the rear-hinged, suicide-style rear doors. There appears to be a dummy handle at the trailing edge of the door, but there's no hiding the real thing, which match up nicely with the front handles. Also evident is the plain and simple roof line. No flashy curves here, just simple lines and angles. In fact, the profile of the rear hatch is a bit reminiscent of the Land Rover Range Rover. The hatch drops down to a low-profile rear bumper that features squared-off cutouts for the exhaust. There are couple more details we spot in these photos as well. The unmistakable Rolls-Royce grille looks a bit more rounded than what we saw in the official photos. The result is a more familial look to the Ghost-based Rolls-Royce models. Also noticeable is the strong shoulder line found on every Rolls that runs just below the windows from the headlights to the tail. We can't quite see the tail end of the feature line because of some false body work, but it certainly appears to run the length of the car. See for yourself in the gallery above. Related Video:
