1971 Rolls Royce , Silver Shadow, Only 64k, Runs & Drives Great ! on 2040-cars
Seabrook, New Hampshire, United States
Here is an 1971 Rolls Royce, Silver Shadow sedan. This car only has 64,516 original miles. It is a 2 owner car that was garage kept. It has had recent work on the exhaust with several new parts, new water pump & coolant, new tires with less than 400 miles on them, the hydraulic suspension has also recently been worked on, the transmission has been rebuilt not more than 500 miles ago. It runs & drives great. Only has a few minor issues: ( drivers side window is really slow , rear pass window the same, 2 of the door lock knobs don't pop when it is unlocked so, you have to manually lift them. A/C Blows cool, but not ice cold. In the pictures you can see the vinyl top at the front & rear has been sealed because it was tearing. ) It is a great car to drive while picking away at the minor issues. This car rides like no other, very , very smooth. Paint still shows ok, it's a 10 footer. Has some minor issues, cracking in a few areas. Chrome is great. The car is being offered at no-reserve. It will sell to the highest bidder. NH doesn't issue titles for a car over 15years old. You can verify this on the NH DMV website. I do however have the previous owners title from MASS that is signed and open. It will come with a current registration & bill of sale, as well as the other title. That is all you will need. Other states are aware of title laws in other states. I have sold several vehicles through out the years all over the place without issue. Please ask all questions before bidding and good luck !!! The car will come with the original owners book, jack, tool kit . I also have a full set of Workshop manuals for this car. There are 5 big binders. These are in great shape & very valuable. They will be offered to the winning bidder for an additional fee of $300 . unless the car goes beyond $4000. They will be included. They will be sold separately on another auction if the winner doesn't want them. They are worth far more than $300 for the set.... |

Rolls-Royce Cullinan's Viewing Suite seats are its tailgate party trick
Thu, Feb 22 2018It's one thing to flip down the rear bench of a Chrysler Town & Country parked at a scenic spot, sit on the folded-down backrest and look at the sunset. It's another thing to park a Rolls-Royce Cullinan on a similarly scenic spot and utilize the, ahem, Rolls-Royce Viewing Suite. Deployed at a touch of a button, the Viewing Suite is formed by two rear-facing leather chairs that emerge from the Cullinan's trunk. As well as the chairs, a cocktail table is fitted on the "luxuriously comfortable viewing platform" that enables a Cullinan owner to "take in the world's most breath-taking vistas or view a sports event or even watch their children take part in their school sports day," as Rolls-Royce suggests. While not explicitly mentioned, it's probably also perfectly suitable for a tailgate party with a couple cold ones fetched from a cooler while a ballgame plays on a portable TV. But as Rolls-Royce says, "Wherever one ventures, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan Viewing Suite guarantees the best seat in the house." The Cullinan is likely to cast aside its camoflage come Geneva time next month. Recent spy shots have depicted the luxury SUV with suicide rear doors, a feature that most large SUVs do not have. Lucky ducks rescued, ride in a Rolls-Royce to their new Goodwood home
Wed, Aug 18 2021The phrase "put it on the bill" has taken on a new meaning at Rolls-Royce's Goodwood, England, factory. The firm now shares its headquarters with 15 ducks that were rescued earlier in 2020 and re-released as adults. Rolls-Royce explained that James Caffrey, one of its security guards, spotted a group of seven ducklings in a company parking lot in April 2020. He spent several hours observing the unexpected visitors from a distance before realizing that the mother duck wasn't coming back. Concerned, he captured the birds with the help of colleagues and sent them to the Brent Lodge Wildlife Hospital, which cares for sick, injured, and orphaned animals. Brent Lodge's goal is to release animals back into their natural habitat as soon as possible, not to keep them in captivity. The seven siblings were reared into adulthood and sent back to Rolls-Royce's headquarters, along with eight additional ducks that were also rescued locally. The group traveled to Goodwood in the back of a Cullinan, an honor that few humans — let alone birds — experience. They traveled in cages, letting ducks loose in an SUV would be disastrous, and Rolls-Royce joked its engineers are now looking into using ducks as a unit to measure trunk space. Rolls-Royce's new tenants live near the lakes that are next to its factory, so they're fully self-sufficient. There is enough food available to sustain the entire clan. We don't know whether they'll be asked to contribute something in exchange for living at Goodwood; the 250,000 bees the firm keeps make honey that's exclusively served to guests, like customers who fly in to pick up a car. If duck eggs come with your new Phantom, you'll know why. Related video: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings.
