1999 Rolls Royce Silver Seraph
35k original miles
Clean Carfax

We drove this car recently from the Orlando, Fl. area to Amelia Island North of Jacksonville, Fl. without a hitch.  We a pleasant touring automobile for the price of a new pickup truck!  Only 1,570 of these models were produced for worldwide distribution.  Powered by the reliable and famous BMW V12 with a top speed of 140mph you can imagine how it purrs at 70mph, half the top end.  Base price was over $220k US.  Now you can buy it for a fraction.

Here are the details you want to know, things that are not perfect:

* Most of the interior wood veneer panels have hairline fractures when you look closely.
* Over the years a few exterior panels have been repainted but match wonderfully, no one has ever noticed unless pointing it out.
* The chrome wheels have slight pitting deep into the crevices.  Most Seraphs have painted wheels and polished stainless disc covers.  This car actually has chrome plated wheels!
* The white wall tires are thick with tread but the actual white portion on all four have various scuffs on them.  Nothing that affects the performance or life, just cosmetic.
* There are a few scratches here and there but overall very clean for the age and miles.

The car has no odd smells or odors which is unusual.  Most have a lingering cigar smell, none here!  Carfax shows two owners and no mileage or accident issues.  I seriously doubt these will depreciate in value much if any from here with such low production volumes.  These don't come up very often for sale and to find one in these unique, rich color combination is even more rare.  Feel free to call or email with any questions you may have.  We've set our price at a very realistic number that would be hard to match with these low miles.

With over 27 years of personal experience in the highline market and as an owner of a private dealer to dealer online exchange I am very familiar with values relevant to condition.  If you would like to better understand our pricing or make us an offer I would be happy to discuss this with you.   You can also feel free to email us to receive a full set of professional photography taken last week of this car.  Over 75 pictures in all.  With direct relationships with numerous enclosed transport companies we can arrange a very competitive rate.  Never more than $1.00 per mile and as low as .40 cents per mile.

 ***FLORIDA BUYERS***
LOCAL SALES TAX WILL BE COLLECTED IF YOU RESIDE IN FLORIDA
Purchasers from outside of Florida will be required to provide a Bill of Lading proving the car left Florida.

Rolls-Royce shows its festive side with limited-edition Neon Nights models

Sun, Nov 29 2020

Anyone who has traveled to Las Vegas has undoubtedly seen brightly-colored Rolls-Royces parading down the Strip, but these head-turning creations usually weren't painted at the factory. The firm decided to flaunt its flamboyant side and one-up the tuners by releasing a colorful trio of limited-edition models named Neon Nights. Rolls-Royce based the Neon Nights on the Black Badge variants of the Wraith, the Dawn, and the Cullinan. Buyers have three colors to choose from: Lime Rock Green (for the Wraith), Eagle Rock Red (for the Dawn), and Mirabeau Blue (for the Cullinan). The first two receive gray leather, while the latter gets a white interior. Stylists didn't choose these colors at random. Lime Rock Green, in Rolls-Royce's own words, is naturally bestowed on the Australian green tree frog. One of its paint specialists spotted one while traveling. Eagle Rock Red is inspired by the flowers of a Hawaiian tree named 'Ohi'a lehua, and Mirabeau Blue is the paint team's tribute to the Periander metalmark butterfly that's native to Central and South America. After selecting suitably exotic plants and animals, Rolls-Royce's in-house paint team set out to give each hue a neon-like glow. Building the Neon Nights cars on the Black Badge variants peppers a bit of irony on the project, but it also gives customers more power. Pop the Cullinan's long, stately hood to find a 6.75-liter V12 that's twin-turbocharged to 600 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque, up from 563 and 627 in the regular model. Both the Dawn and the Wraith receive a twin-turbocharged, 6.6-liter V12 with 593 horsepower and 620 pound-feet of torque on tap, increases of 30 and 15, respectively, over the cars not ordered with the optional Black Badge package. Rolls-Royce explained it initially planned to cap production at one car per color, and it noted the trio was created specifically for customers in the United States. Unexpected demand from other global markets convinced the company to paint three additional cars in each color, meaning a total of 12 examples will be produced. Pricing hasn't been announced yet, but the buyers the British firm is trying to reach don't need ask for a window sticker. Related Video:

eBay Find of the Day: Andy Warhol's 1974 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow

Sun, 25 May 2014

Andy Warhol is one of the most recognizable artists of the 20th Century. With hits like his famous Campbell's soup cans and Marilyn Monroe portraits, he is likely the first name you think of in association with the pop art movement. He isn't known for being an auto enthusiast, though, but maybe that's not entirely the case - there was his BMW M1 art car, after all. Now, Warhol's 1974 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow is up for auction on eBay Motors.
According the seller, Warhol never had a driver's license, but he still wanted to own a luxurious car. It's claimed that he occasionally had his famous friends, including Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, chauffeur him around in the Rolls. Following Warhol's death in 1987, the car was auctioned for $77,000, and since then it has only been sold to one additional owner.
The Rolls is painted Walnut and Mason's Black, which appears closer to a shade of brown in these photos, with a black leather interior. The engine is the company's' popular 6.75-liter V8 with a three-speed automatic transmission, and there are just 56,000 miles on this luxurious classic. The seller is including copies of original purchase order from Rolls-Royce and the title to Warhol Enterprises to prove the famous artist's ownership of the car, plus all of its service records.

Britain orders 10,000 ventilators from F1/McLaren/Mercedes/Ford/Rolls-Royce/Airbus

Mon, Mar 30 2020

Paramedics and ambulance personnel get instructions from a command unit outside London's ExCel Centre arena, which is being turned into a 4,000 bed temporary hospital called NHS Nightingale to deal with coronavirus patients. The hospital is due to open Monday, March 30. / AP     LONDON — Britain has ordered 10,000 ventilators from a consortium of leading aerospace, engineering and Formula One racing companies which will start production this week in response to an urgent government call for industry to help save lives. The 27-strong team, including Airbus, BAE Systems, Ford and Rolls-Royce, have joined forces to ramp up production of a ventilator made by Smiths Group, which supports those with complications from COVID-19. The consortium, which also includes seven Formula One teams including McLaren and Mercedes, home to World Champion Lewis Hamilton, said they had pulled staff off existing projects to meet the national need. Some 1,228 people have died from coronavirus in the United Kingdom and a senior health official said on Saturday the country would be doing well if it manages to keep the death toll below 20,000. "This consortium brings together some of the most innovative companies in the world," Dick Elsy, the head of the consortium, said in a statement. "I am confident this consortium has the skills and tools to make a difference and save lives." The United Kingdom, which initially only had 5,000 ventilators available in its National Health Service, has been trying to secure additional supplies after realising it needed 30,000 to cope with the peak of the outbreak. Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who is now in isolation in Downing Street after testing positive for coronavirus, made an emergency appeal earlier this month for manufacturers to retool their production lines and start making specialist health equipment including ventilators. Britain now has about 8,000 ventilators, with another 8,000 on order from international manufacturers that are due in coming weeks. Last week it placed an order for a newly-designed model from the vacuum cleaner company Dyson that will need to be approved by the health regulator. Mercedes part of a separate effort, too Separately on Monday a second consortium including Mercedes Formula One and other F1 teams said it had developed in less than a week a new version of a breathing aid that can help coronavirus patients.
