Lakeland, Florida, United States
THIS NEW ARRIVAL IS READY FOR RESTORATION AND FIRST TIME EVER ON EBAY. CALL TITUS @ 863-661-0292 FOR ALL QUESTIONS
I PURCHASED THIS FROM A BUSINESS MAN IN LAKELAND THAT PURCHASED THIS 14 YEARS AGO AS A COLLECTOR CAR HERE IN FLORIDA AT A CLASSIC CAR AUCTION. THIS CAR WAS SOLD IN 1998 TO A LIMOUSINE COMPANY IN MIAMI AND ORIGINALLY CAME FROM MASSACHUTTES. MY CLIENT PURCHASED FOUR YEARS LATER AT A CLASSIC CAR AUCTION HERE IN FLORIDA FROM THE LIMO COMPANY. IT HAS BEEN IN STORAGE AND HAS NOT BEEN DRIVEN FOR OVER 15 PLUS YEARS. IT DOES NOT RUN AND HAS A FORD DRIVE LINE AND AIR CONDITIONING. I DO NOT KNOW MUCH ABOUT THIS CAR OR HOW TO TELL IF IT IS A REAL ROLLS THAT HAS BEEN MODIFIED OR IF IT IS A REPLICA. IT DOES SIT ON A OLD FRAME THAT APPEARS TO BE FROM THE THIRTIES, IT DOES HAVE ALL DOORS THAT ARE MOLDED AROUND WOOD FRAMES AND ARE METAL, THE HOOD AND FENDERS ARE ALL METAL TO THE BEST OF MY ABILITY. THE GRILL HAS THE HOLE ON THE BOTTOM THAT ALLOWED A CRANK TO MATE UP WITH THE ENGINE TO START. THIS APPEARS TO BE A ALL METAL AND WOOD CAR. THE WIND SHEILD OPENS TO SUPPLY AIR TO THE DRIVER. THE FRONT CAB IS SEPERATED BY CLASS TO THE COACH SIDE IN THE REAR. THE CAR LOOKS NICE BUT NEEDS ALL THE WOOD RESTORED ON THE DOORS AND REALLY A COMPLETE RESTORATION TO BE NEW AGAIN. THIS CAR IS SOLD AS IS NO WARRANTY AND IS A NON RUNNING PROJECT. PLEASE CALL TITUS @ 863-661-0292 |

Aeroboat packs 1,100 seahorses of Rolls-Royce Merlin V12 power
Wed, 21 May 2014We don't typically cover boats here - this is, after all, Autoblog and not Aquablog - but every so often something comes along that makes us want to dip our toes in the water, whether it's a Jaguar-designed speedboat, a Gulf-liveried megayacht or a Lamborghini-powered Riva Aquarama. This is another one of those occasions.
Set to be unveiled at the Salute to Style show in July at The Hurlingham Club in London, the Aeroboat is a motor yacht that seems to blend retro and furutistic lines in equal measure that would make Jules Verne proud without going Steampunk. Inspired by the Spitfire fighter plane, the Aeroboat packs aircraft-inspired switchgear and shock-mounted seats into a long, sleek form. But what really has our interests piqued is what lies beneath the stylish decks.
Each of the dozen Aeroboats to be built will pack a reconditioned, marinized, fuel-injected Rolls-Royce Merlin V12 engine - the same 27-liter powerplant that propelled the Spitfire. With 1,100 horsepower on tap, it's expected to propel the Aeroboat up to a top speed between 75 and 95 knots, or 86-109 miles per hour by landlubber standards, which is pretty damn fast on the open water.
Neglected Rolls-Royce Phantom may be the saddest of all time
Fri, 30 May 2014Rolls-Royce prides itself on exemplifying the pinnacle of automotive elegance. The brand is synonymous with quality and luxury. However, in the end even a Rolls is still just a car, and if you don't keep it up, it's bound to fail. That deterioration can be seriously fun to watch, though.
This 2005 Rolls-Royce Phantom might now be one of the worst cars on the planet and only has a little over 95,000 miles on it. The video claims that the original owner in New Jersey didn't make payments on the car for three years but rented the sedan out to people and used it for a livery service. Now, it's repossessed and would probably cost more to fix than it's worth.
This Phantom has had a hard life. We don't want to spoil too many of the broken pieces because they pile up to become increasingly absurd. However, the pièce de résistance must to be the broken Spider-Man umbrella in the door.
Rolls-Royce Corniche Coupe does some performance testing at N"urburgring
Wed, 10 Oct 2012While all the gory details surrounding the new Rolls-Royce coupe - including its true name, "Corniche" is just a savory-sounding best guess right now - are still shrouded in mystery, this new set of clandestinely foraged images proves that the car probably won't be a slouch in terms of performance.
The Ghost-based Roller was spotted on the Nürburgring Nordschleife recently, demonstrating its sporting chops at the same time it was showing off it's impressive patrician nose. Expectations are that, when the new coupe is shown off for real at the Geneva Motor Show in March of next year, that nose will belong to the fastest production car to ever wear the Spirit of Ecstasy.
Indications are that the Corniche will be rocking a turbocharged V12, making in the ballpark of 600 horsepower, and using an eight-speed transmission.
