2012 Lifted Ram 3500 Laramie Extended Crew Cab Pickup 4-door 6.7l on 2040-cars
Scottsdale, Arizona, United States
This amazing pickup truck is being offered for sale only because it had one sole purpose of hauling my 35' Fountain Powerboat to the lake on Sundays and I have sold the boat. This truck is in absolute like new condition inside and out. This truck is a 2012 with just 20k miles on the clock. It isn't even begun to break in yet. The inside of the bed is perfect as it has only ever had coolers and lake toys in it. I built this truck when it was brand new and have the lift kit retourqed and realigned so it rides and drives perfect with zero issues. I have had the tires professionally rotated and balance at every oil change. One really big thing to consider if you are comparing this truck to a new one, keep in mind 2013 and later diesels require exhaust additive, a real pain as well an additional annual expense.this truck has never had any aftermarket performance parts installed like a chip, intake ,or exhaust system,it doesn't need any additional power ,trust me.it is completely reliable and comfortable to drive and ride. The truck has never been off road or mistreated ever and parks in a climate controlled shop.
Now for the cool stuff, it has a custom built 6" long arm lift by Carli, it has King shocks with resvoirs on all four corner sit stands tall on American Force 22" Independence wheels (all 6 wheels)wrapped in TOYO MTs 37x13-22" tires that have every bit of 75%-80% tread left. For convience Amp research electronic steps have been installed Well over $20,000. In upgrades that are already done so you don't have to go through the inconvience of building one. You can't build a truck like this for the price of this one. Lifted dually,Cummins,American Force,Diesel,Carli lift,Amp Research Steps,Dodge |

Ram to go on a Rampage with new small pickup?
Wed, 16 Jul 2014When people look back at today's automotive industry, what do you think they'll remember us for? The emergence of hybrids? Ever more expensive and exotic supercars? The dawn of the self-driving car? All likely scenarios, but so is the blurring of lines between one bodystyle and another, giving rise to hardtop convertible coupes and crossovers of every shape and size. But one bodystyle the North American auto industry has stayed largely away from in the past couple of decades is a car nose and chassis with a pickup bed.
It's a bodystyle immortalized by the Chevrolet El Camino, but with few exceptions, we haven't seen too many of these automotive platypuses in recent years on our turf. Subaru tried with the Baja and the low-volume Honda Ridgeline soldiers along largely unchanged, but the genre's biggest adherents are still Down Under, where ute versions of the Holden Commodore and Ford Falcon live. With a few other examples scattered to the four corners of the earth, that's really about it. But if these spy shots are anything to go by, it looks like Fiat Chrysler Automobiles could be working to bring it back.
Spied undergoing testing in Michigan, what we appear to be looking at is a heavily disguised Fiat Strada being prepared - like the Fiat Ducato-based Ram ProMaster and the smaller Doblo-based ProMaster City - for Stateside duty as a Ram product. The Strada, for those unfamiliar, is a product of Fiat Automóveis in Brazil and is based on the Palio economy car. The nameplate has been around South America since 1996 and was originally designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro (long before Volkswagen monopolized his talents), and takes a more rugged approach in the form of the Strada Adventure.
2014 Ram ProMaster configurator reporting for heavy duty
Tue, 16 Jul 2013Ram has brought the configurator online for all sizes of its new ProMaster van, known to the rest of the world as the Fiat Ducato. Destined to take on the new Ford Transit and Nissan NV, the ProMaster is available in three sizes - 1500, 2500, and 3500.
Once a size has been chosen, the world is your oyster. We could (probably) spend the rest of our day with this configurator and not repeat a build once. Each truck can be had in different styles ranging from windowed van to cargo hauler to cutaway truck, while buyers can also choose from a number of wheelbases and roof heights.
Add to that an options sheet that's almost Porsche-like in length, and you get a van that can be completely customized to the needs of your business. Check out all three configurators at the following links: 1500, 2500 and 3500.
Ram 700 by Fiat may be the small truck we've been waiting for
Sat, 01 Nov 2014It seems like auto buyers throughout the whole world outside of the United States and Canada have a plethora of small pickups to choose from to fit their needs. In fact, there's one just south of the border that might be perfect for many American consumers - the 2015 Ram 700.
The little, front-wheel-drive pickup is a badge-engineered version of the Fiat Strada, which is also sold in Mexico. The powertrain is limited to a 1.6-liter four-cylinder making 115 horsepower and 119 pound-feet of torque with a five-speed manual gearbox. However, buyers can choose between either a two-door, two-passenger body or a three-door, four-person version (pictured above and right) that's also available with a locking front differential. While the 700 isn't big, the two-door version still offers a cargo capacity of up to 1,554 pounds, and opting for the three-door still allows for 1,433 pounds of goods.
Prices for these little trucks aren't bad either. The two-door is priced at 182,900 Mexican pesos ($13,576 at current rates), while 241,900 pesos ($17,955) gets customers the three-door.
