Up for auction is My 2004 Porsche Cayenne Turbo. The Cayenne is loaded with options including, Moonroof, heated front and rear seats, parking sensors, rear view backup cam, Navigation,6 disc cd changer, running boards, wheel well moldings, tow package, levelizing suspension. power memory seats, full size spare with rear holder, Sat. Radio  and much more. The Cayenne has the 4.5 V8 twin turbo 450 hp engine with automatic 6 speed with triptronic transmission full time awd ( MSPP was well over $100,000 new). The SUV has 133,325 well taken care of miles. I have reciepts from the Porsche dealer totaling over $21,700 maintaining and fixing anything that went wrong. All the major issues have been taken care of like coolant pipes changed to metal, cardon shaft replaced, suspension new, water pump replaced. This is very nice and well maintained. The body has never had any paint work,in October of 2005 a car bumped into the spare tire holder there was no visible damage but the Porsche dealer said there was a slight bend so they replaced the spare tire holder with a new one.   I might be interested in trading on something interesting in the $4000-$6000 range plus cash. The trade would have to be agreed upon before auction end. I owned two 2004 Cayenne S models before I owned this Turbo. The Turbo is a Superior Vehicle. There is a reason the Turbo's were $40,000 higher than the S Model. If you like the performance you will not want to settle for 340HP when you could have 450HP.
If 450HP is not enough Power  you can send off the ECM and have it tuned to 540HP for $699 by a company named Upsolute. This Porsche spent most of its life in Arizona so it is a dry rust free SUV. The Porsche is located In Russellville, Arkansas. Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping. I have included pictures of the Porsche at different heights of the Levelizing Suspension. The tires are 90% or better.   Thanks, Jon my cell phone is 479-857-5059. I also have a texting plan for this number if you want to text questions.

2015 Porsche Cayenne S

Tue, 23 Sep 2014

Oh, Porsche.
Just as the dust settles over the 911 GT3's no manual gearbox kerfuffle, the Germans have gone and yanked the yummy naturally aspirated 4.8-liter V8 from the Cayenne S and replaced it with a twin-turbo 3.6-liter V6. Is nothing sacred in Porscheland?
Perhaps not... but that's not necessarily a bad thing. After all, Porsche famously once said they'd never build a diesel, but when they did, it was actually rather stellar.

2013 Porsche 911 RSR makes official debut

Mon, 01 Apr 2013

Porsche is ready to go racing in 2013, showing off a new 911 RSR today that is scheduled to compete in several endurance events this year. Based on the current 991 911, the new RSR will compete in the 2013 season of the World Endurance Championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. It will not, however, make an appearance in a North American racing series this year.
The 2013 version of the racecar has increased in wheelbase by some four inches, features a new wishbone front suspension in place of the last-generation's McPherson strut setup and boasts a new, lightweight six-speed racing gearbox. The engine, meanwhile, is an "optimized" version of last year's car, a 460-horsepower 4.0-liter boxer six-cylinder. Extensive use of carbon fiber and polycarbonate windows help the RSR shed weight, and Porsche has also balanced the weight more evenly with a lower center of gravity.
Porsche has thoughtfully dedicated some space to celebrate the 911's 50th Anniversary, with the number 50 clearly visible in the top-down view of the RSR, as well as along the doors. Scroll down to read the full Porsche press release, below.

Porsche testing new 911 GTS

Wed, 28 May 2014

Porsche may have one more vehicle in its stable with the GTS moniker, if these spy shots are any indication. They show off the presumed 911 GTS lapping the track - the model meant to slide in under the GT3 to be a bit more driver-friendly but still very fast alternative to a stock Carrera.
At first glance, it might look like any other 911, but the devil is in the details. The most obvious among the differences are two centrally mounted exhaust outlets, rather than the ones closer to the corners on most of the current models. They also aren't perfectly in the center like the GT3. The taillights are also somewhat thicker than the current ones, and the rear decklid is split into three exposed sections.
This is the third time we've seen the presumed GTS. The first was as a coupe late last year. Then it showed up again in March testing in convertible form. Although, that version also sported fender vents at the rear.
