2006 - Porsche Boxster on 2040-cars

I have a mint 2006 Porsche Boxster S with only 21,000 miles, and BUMPER TO BUMPER Porsche certified used car warranty and roadside assistance that ends 10/9/15. I purchased it from the Bluegrass Porsche in Louisville, KY with 17,500 miles, and they can independently verify service and condition of car. They had received it in trade from the original owner's daughter. It has been maintained according to Porsche recommendations by the dealership and never wrecked. I have kept it in my garage since buying it last 9/. It is a 6 speed manual and extras include chrome exhaust pipes, Bose speaker system, a transparent plastic bra which keeps rocks from dinging the front end (an expensive add on I was told). It is advertised as running a zero to sixty in 5.5 seconds with a top end over 150 mph. With the high performance tires that were new when I purchased it, it handles and corners like nothing I have ever driven.

Porsche Museum highlights history of the 911 RSR
Sat, 12 Jan 2013Porsche has amassed quite an impressive trophy case in just about every racing series it has ever entered, and one of its most dominant machines has to be the 911 RSR from the 1970s. Taking part in various GT-class competitions, the 911 RSR managed to take home three international and seven German victories in 1973, its very first year of competition.
Not one to downplay its racing successes, Porsche has released an informative video detailing the 911 RSR's impressive heritage. The 1973 RSR model owned by the Porsche Museum is detailed beautifully on video, and we have to say it looks absolutely stunning in its vintage Martini Racing livery.

Porsche Cayman GT4 looks sexy, rapid in the nude
Mon, Jan 5 2015Porsche doesn't officially have a name for its more hardcore version of the Cayman, yet. The speculation is that the coupe is called the GT4 as a little brother to the 911 GT3. However, the German sports car maker apparently is not interested in keeping the model's looks much of a secret because these latest shots show it without a hint of camouflage to speak of. The GT4 reportedly takes the GT3's ethos of more power, less weight and stickier-than-glue handling and brings it all to the Cayman. As these photos show, there's a much lower air dam up front with a cooling vent at the tip of the hood. Larger wheels are another obvious addition and are likely shod with some very sticky rubber. At the back, there's a double spoiler combining a wing and a ducktail. The power and gearbox for the GT4 remains a mystery, though. The rumor is that it uses a tuned version of the 3.4-liter flat-six in the Cayman S and GTS to make between 370 and 400 horsepower. A similar overhaul of the Boxster might be on the way, as well. A version of the convertible wearing some of the Cayman GT4's goodies was recently spotted testing. That one even had a manual transmission to make the prospects behind the wheel even more exciting.
