A mid-engine design and classic Porsche styling, not to mention sublime steering and brakes, relatively generous cargo capacity and a fast power top operation give the Boxster a unique combination of traits that few cars can match at this price point.  Add to that PEACE OF MIND thanks to bumper to bumper, Porsche factory warranty on this certified car.  The warranty expires November 25, 2013 and can be extended for up to 6 additional years / 60,000 additional miles with a transferable Extended Service Contract.  Contact Mr. Corey Evans at the Flemington Porsche Dealership, Flemington, NJ (908) 284-2834, or any Porsche Dealership for additional information on Extended Service Contracts.  All service covered performed at any Porsche dealership in the world.  We also have Porsche damage insurance on the alloy rims.

The car is in excellent condition.  We have owned it for approximately two years and have driven it about 2,000 miles per year.  It is my wife's car and it has always been garaged - no sun fade on the convertible top or anywhere else.  No scratches on the bottom.

The car is in the Somerville, New Jersey area (Somerville, NJ).  We purchased it at the Flemington Porsche dealership as a certified car.  Everything works like new, it has no flaws and it drives great.

The car is very comfortable for a car in its class.

The car has an excellent stereo system with CD player, power windows, power top, power seat, power door locks, power trunk releases (front and rear), locking gas cap, wind blocking screens which attach to the back of the bucket seats to keep wind noise down when the driving with the top down.

Routine maintenance of the car is within easy reach.  The engine oil filter and drain are directly under the car, easily accessible and unbelievably easy to drain, as there is not drip onto the suspension or any other part of the car.  The two trunks provide ample space for groceries or whatever.

It is a delightful car to drive and it can keep up with just about anything.  It is a true, uncompromising sports car.  Best of all, it is a Porsche and it feels like a tank.

Porsche 918 Spyder already almost sold out?

Mon, 20 Oct 2014

Still planning on getting your hands on a Porsche 918 Spyder? You'd better act quickly, because word has it that the hybrid hypercar is nearly sold out.
While Porsche has reportedly only delivered a little over 30 of the 918 examples of the Spyder it plans to manufacture in total, Automotive News says that production is sold out through late March or early April - just a few months shy of when production is set to wrap in July.
That's pretty impressive for a car with a base price of almost $850,000, especially one requiring a $200,000 deposit just to get your name on the list. Still, that sum is significantly less than its competitors get for the McLaren P1 or LaFerrari, both of which sell for over a million (if you can actually get on one at that price), though in fairness, production of each is limited to less than half of the 918 Spyder.

Porsche 911 GT3 RS revealed in patent photos

Fri, 01 Aug 2014

Porsche has been taking its time developing the most hardcore 911 models for the latest 991 chassis. While the GT3 has been on the market for a little while, it suffered from some teething issues. The 911 GT3 RS is certainly on the radar since being spotted testing, but it's always better to get a look at a new car without all of the camo to hide the coolest parts. Thankfully, Car in the UK has some patent photos of the RS ahead of its debut, and they show off one mean-looking 911.
The first thing that you notice about the RS is that Porsche clearly isn't afraid to rework the latest 911's shape for its track-focused version. Each piece is slightly resculpted to squeeze the most out of it. Up front, the air dam has the same shape to the earlier photos. They also both highlight the upcoming model's tiny air inlet at the tip of the hood, the massive intakes in the rear fenders and general design of the rear wing with a ducktail underneath. The bubbled roof is much clearer here, where it was disguised in spy shots. You can also spot the slashing fender gills behind the front wheels that are a completely new feature.
The GT3 RS is the ultimate naturally aspirated 911 for the street, but according to Car, Porsche aims to take that even farther with the latest model. If these are the looks, then it's working. Unfortunately, the new version's powerplant remains a mystery. Though, given all the changes to the bodywork, the engine is almost surely getting tweaked over the 475-horsepower GT3. The RS is rumored to hit the road and be screaming down the track in 2015.

Porsche Cayenne diesel V8 may not be long for this world

Fri, Jan 23 2015

Goodbye, Porsche Cayenne V8 Diesel. We hardly knew ye. Nor did the Europeans, apparently. Porsche's V8 oil burner is still on the European model list for the Cayenne SUV, but the mill won't go through the likely pricey process of being updated to adhere to new and stricter European emissions standards, Just-Auto says. A Porsche spokesman confirmed to the publication that it's a fairly complicated process to update the diesel V8 to be so-called "Euro-6 compliant." With Cayenne diesels selling in relatively low volumes anyways, the German automaker might just dump the V8 diesel altogether, as it'd be quite cost-ineffective to make the necessary upgrades. The V8 diesel was a 4.1-liter engine that delivered 385 horsepower in addition to what sounds like a little too much exhaust for European clean-air regulators. While that's a pretty powerful profile, the most recent gas-powered V8 for the Cayenne delivers about 570 horsepower, so the diesel engine won't likely be missed by European auto enthusiasts. Besides, there's still the V6 diesel that's also sold in the US. That's a 4,800-pound beast that moves from 0 to 60 miles per hour in about seven seconds and gets a relatively (for diesels) modest 20 miles per gallon city. For those who are curious, Autoblog's First Drive review of that model can be found here.
