2007 Porsche Cayman coupe, strong running engine with a great shifting 5 speed manual transmission.  Wearing Porsche's "Atlas Grey Metallic" exterior, makes this car look excellent in the day light, and almost black looking at night.  The interior is called Stone Grey Standard Leather, it looks excellent, and in great condition with bearly no visible wear.

The window sticker shows that it was ordered with the 18" Cayman S wheels, (1,235.00 add), along with a sound package plus (715.00 add).  The exterior color was also a 690.00 option. The window sticker is $53,135.00.

I have plenty of receipts on this car.  This is a very nice car, clean body showing normal wear, a few minor dings, and very minor scratches.  I would rate this car a 9 out of 10.  This is a nice car, a blast to drive, very clean car inside and out.  The TPC light is on, which means that a wheel sensor is out.  We have 2 keys for the car, books and records, clean carfax, 84,000 miles.

Bid with confidence, this is a very nice car.

Porsche celebrates 50 years of 911s with limited edition model

Tue, 04 Jun 2013

Despite being 50 years old now, the Porsche 911 sure is looking good for her age. And to commemorate this milestone anniversary, Porsche has created the 911 50 Years Edition you see here, which will make its debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show - 50 years after the original 911 debuted at this very same expo.
What's really neat about the 50 Years Edition is that it houses a rear-wheel-drive setup inside of the wider body used for all-wheel-drive Carrera 4 and 4S models. Found at the back is the 3.8-liter flat-six from the Carrera S, upgraded with the Powerkit package that increases horsepower from 400 to 430 and includes the Sport Chrono setup. According to Porsche, hitting 60 miles per hour takes just 4.2 seconds with the seven-speed manual transmission, or 3.8 seconds with the optional dual-clutch PDK.
Visual changes include two special paint colors - a darker graphite grey and a lighter geyser grey - unique 20-inch wheels that pay homage to the original Fuchs rollers of the 1963 car, and special badging at the rear and on the door sills. Inside, there are more throwbacks to the original 911, with green labeling on the instruments, white pointer needles and silver accents. What's more, the leather seats feature a fabric insert reminiscent of the Pepita design from the '60s. Looks great to us.

Drive-up bank robbery perpetrated with Cayenne and WRX

Sat, 14 Sep 2013

Thieves carried out what appears to be a movie-script-perfect robbery of a bank in Sydney, Australia early on Friday morning, using two stolen high-performance vehicles in the process.
At around 11:15 AM local time, in near mid-day light, reports say that two men in masks smashed into the side of a Westpac bank in a confirmed-stolen black Porsche Cayenne. The perpetrators were armed with sledgehammers according to witness reports, and took only about five minutes to take what they were after inside of the bank.
The rapid getaway was executed in a Subaru WRX, also confirmed as a stolen vehicle, while witnesses snapped camera phone images of the illicit goings on. One Twitter user posted a few of the images to his social media feed; you can take a look at them in our small gallery below. Follow on down for the full video report, from The Sydney Morning Herald.
