Porsche Cayenne S, fully optioned

Black on black leather with silver trim.  This is a very smooth running vehicle with unbelievable curb appeal.  The black color allows it to look like a much newer Cayenne and the condition of the vehicle is great.  What other vehicle can reach 130+ MPH and drive up an unplowed driveway while looking like a $100,000 car!

Not only does it look good but has the rare suspension option ($3,000) that allows for setting the ride comfort along with the height adjustment (similar to a range rover).  I had a professional installation of a show quality audio system that is crystal clear and utilizes all of the factory locations including the installation of a 10" JL Audio subwoofer (in the back left panel of the cargo area).  Look at the pictures, it is flawless and sounds amazing.  I also have an updated head unit that performs every function (blue tooth, back up camera, traffic allerts, gps, etc.).  The audio system was close to $5,000 installed.

With the cost to maintain a Porsche, I also have an extended warranty, bumper to bumper to 100,000 Miles.  I could cash in or will leave with the vehicle for a reasonable offer.  I also have a black factory cargo roof rack if desired for a negotiable price.

Highlights include:

- Adjustable Suspension (comfort, normal, sport)
- Adjustable Suspension (high, medium, low, load settings)
- Differential locking 4wd
- Navigation
- 82,000 Miles
- Sunroof
- almost new Nitto Terra Grapplers
- 20" factory Porsche rims painted black
- back up camera
- Bumper to Bumper warranty (Paragon Motor Club) up to 100,000 Miles (price is negotiable as I could cash in for a credit)

I am only selling to make room for a larger vehicle. Call or text to make your best offer. 602-525-1491

Remembering Porsche's illustrious Le Mans history

    Fri, 13 Jun 2014

Not only does this weekend mark the running of the 82nd 24 Hours of Le Mans, it will also see the return of one of the race's most venerable brands to the top tiers of endurance racing. Porsche will campaign its first top-flight car since the 1998 911 GT1-98, the 919 Hybrid, at this weekend's race, in the hopes of knocking off its corporate rival, the dominant Audi team.
To understand just what a win for the 919 would mean, though, you need to look back on the intrinsic connection between the Circuit de la Sarthe and Porsche. It's a history that spans decades, dating back to the team's first win in 1970.
XCar has a great video on that history. At 25 minutes, it's a bit on the long side. Then again it is the Friday before Le Mans. Take a look below for the video.

First-ever Porsche headed home to company museum

    Wed, 29 Jan 2014

About 30 years before Ferdinand Porsche designed the Volkswagen Beetle, he created the Egger-Lohner electric vehicle, C.2 Phaeton model - or simply, the P1 - you see above. This was the first vehicle created by Porsche, and the car gets its nickname from the fact that he had stamped "P1" on many of the parts marking it as the first Porsche... sorry, 356 No. 1.
Now while you'd think that such an important piece of Porsche heritage has been in a museum or even the automaker's not-so-secret lair, it has actually been sitting at a warehouse for the last 112 years. Thankfully, that's all about to change as Porsche has recovered P1, and the car will soon be on "permanent display" at the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart.
The P1 has a 3 horsepower motor capable of delivering a top speed of 21 miles per hour and a driving range of 49 miles, and, like many vehicles in Porsche's history, the motor is positioned at the rear of the vehicle. According to the press release posted below, the P1 finished first in a 24-mile electric vehicle race in Berlin in 1899, but it has been sitting since 1902.

Top Gear drag races VW Golf R against McLaren 675LT and Porsche 911

    Thu, Apr 7 2016

Top Gear's latest quarter-mile drag race in the collects three very different performance vehicles: the 296-horsepower Volkswagen Golf R, 424-hp Porsche 911 Carrera GTS, and 666-hp McLaren 675LT. While each of these cars sit near the top of their segment, they each come from totally different rungs of the sports car price ladder. Spoiler alert, the Golf R doesn't win. But the final results illustrate the diminishing returns of price and performance. For example, the McLaren is only about a second quicker than the Porsche to 60 miles per hour, but the 675LT costs over 2.5 times more that the GTS. Related Video:
