2008 RS60 Spyder. Limited Edition, number 702/1960. 303 horsepower. Seller is original owner (purchased from Porsche of Ocala) and only driver. Virtually every option standard on this edition: Bose, Bi-xenon headlights, PASM, heated sport seats, sport chrono, colored wheel crests, performance exhaust. PCA member. Car always garaged, rarely driven in rain. Clear bra on hood, headlight surrounds. App. ten track days. No damage except a couple of retouched door dings. Replacing small part on convertible top under warranty and new brake pads only repairs or replacements ever required. All tires original except left front, replaced b/c of puncture (TPMS batteries in wheels dead but TPMS shd work with new tires and sensors/batteries). Substantial tread remaining (see photos). Oil changes much more frequent than recommended, all with Castrol synthetic. Convertible top in as-new condition. All books and maintenance records, sale sheet, window sticker. Clear title.

Son of Porsche 911 designer recalls 1963 Frankfurt debut

The Goodwood Revival is described by its presenters as the greatest motorsport racing party of the year. We often focus heavily on the motorsports, but you can't forget about the party. For the first preview of the new 911 Turbo in the UK, Porsche recreated its booth from the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1963 - the time and place of the original 911's public debut.
Porsche's cameras also caught up with Mark Porsche, the great grandson of Dr. Ferdinand Porsche and son of the late Ferdinand Alexander "Butzi" Porsche, who oversaw the design of the 911. Mark Porsche admires the 911's friendly design, which is set off by the round headlights, and says his mother, who was at the original Frankfurt booth in 1963, was milling around the booth at Goodwood - no doubt taking a trip down memory lane.

But Monterey – and Pebble – features lots of newer metal, too, and that includes the concept lawn at Pebble Beach. Now, "concept lawn" isn't a totally accurate name anymore, and you'll see why in the list below. This year especially, plenty of production cars can be found in the area once reserved for the conceptual. Still, we're happy to see them. Evo sets up duel of Porsche 911s
Thu, 20 Mar 2014What's better, rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive? That question has occupied auto enthusiasts for years, and so far, we've not really had a solid answer one way or the other. Evo has opted to take another whack at this tough question by pairing a pair of Porsche 911s against each other for a track battle.
In one corner, we have the two-wheel-drive 911 Carrera S, complete with the lickity-split PDK transmission, a sports suspension and carbon-ceramic brakes. In the other corner, it's the all-wheel-drive 911 Carrera 4S in a much mellower spec, with a seven-speed manual, as well as standard brakes and suspension. While the results seem like they'd be a foregone conclusion, some very British weather is there to act as the great equalizer.
