I purchased a new business and need to sell my toy to free up some cash. This car is in good shape and definitely a looker.

–Exterior-

The car was painted in 2007 for $7000.00 I have the receipt. The top was replaced in 2011 for $1900.00 I have the receipt. the tires have plenty of life left. I will let the pictures speak for themselves. The car looks very clean no rust or door digs and the paint job was done the right way.

The paint in the door jambs, under the hood, and other "non-viewed" places still looks excellent. The doors, hood and trunk shut with authority and all gaps are uniform and proper.

–Interior-

The blue interior was redone, the driver side floor board has some wear about the size of a baseball, but  the Porsche mats cover that. The dash is showing some cracks, but has been maintained well, the console looks very good. Only the top of the dash has wear everything else looks good. The front and rear seats appear as new. the driver side lumbar button doesn't work, but the more important seat functions work fine. I just had the dashboard lights replace. The heater blows very hot the A/C blows very hard, but is not blowing cold during the hot days of summer, but in the evening when the weather is cooler the ac blows cooler. I'm not sure whats going on with that. I posted that car has 150k, but I'm not sure the exact mileage the odometer doesn't work. When I bought the car it was showing 142k and the owners said that the milage was close to that. I have only used this car for fun maybe 4-5k miles in the last 2 years if that. This car has been babied. I tried to have the gear for the odometer replaced, but that didn't work. I could have replace the whole cluster, but it looked like new in everything else worked fine so I didn't do it.The windshield wipers work fine, but sit a few inchs higher than usual.I will add some picks of the receipts also.

Windows work, but are a little slow, mirrors, locks work fine.! Also, the car has it's original am/fm cassette player.

I have the original air pump and all original trunk accessories (tools, plastic gloves, etc).

–Engine, Drivetrain-

The car starts good and runs good. It pulls strong and shifts crisp. I want to give you guys all the info that I have, but to me this car runs good with no hiccups .brakes with no pulling.

This 944 S2 is a great performing car one of the best of that year. This is a really fun car to drive. I have been very pleased and hate to see it go. I think this car is going to very rare and hard to find very soon, exceptionally in this condition. 10k in just the paint and top. If you have any questions please let me know. Porsche 911 2.7 RS values up by nearly 700% in the last 10 years [w/video]

Thu, Jan 1 2015

These days if you have a wad of cash to invest in a classic car, Ferrari seems to be the best option. Hagerty's price index for the Italian supercars was up 43 percent in 2014, and Prancing Horses made up eight of the highest-selling vehicles at auction for the year. However, if you really want to watch your funds grow faster than practically any other legal investment, it might be worth setting your sights north of Maranello to Porsche in Germany. According to research from the Discovery Channel, the 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 RS is the quickest-appreciating vehicle in the past decade, at least in the UK. In 2004, prices hovered around 65,000 pounds ($101,350 in current money), but buying one today would set you back over 500,000 pounds ($779,600). Rarer lightweight models go for even more. More than just a solid investment, buyers get what is considered to be the ultimate expression of the early 911. Built as a homologation special for racing, Porsche used the classic tactic of fitting a larger engine to boost power to about 210 horsepower while simultaneously cutting weight. A lower front air dam, extended fenders for wider wheels and ducktail spoiler at the back made sure the grip, aero and styling fit the motorsports attitude. You can get a brief taste of what it's like to drive one of these rare Porsches in the video from The Telegraph below. This one is even for sale, with an ambitious price of around 600,000 pounds ($935,000), and it also features legendary racer Derek Bell's autograph on the ashtray. Hopefully the car's eventual buyer remembers that the RS is a fantastic piece to drive, too, and stretches its legs every once in a while. UK Porsche GT3 owners are irked that other countries are getting better deals

Sun, 27 Apr 2014

Porsche 911 GT3 owners in the United Kingdom are up in arms, but it's not for the reason you might think. Okay, well it sort of is. See, it's been fairly well documented that 911 GT3 owners have had their cars grounded over concerns that the engines could catch fire. Porsche is rushing to build and install replacement engines in all 800 or so cars, scattered around the globe.
This isn't really the issue. The problem for these British owners is compensation. While the car's have been grounded, car notes still need to be paid. To deal with this, American GT3 owners are being paid $2,000 per month. German owners get 175 euros ($242 at today's rates) per day while a GT3 owner in Dubai is allegedly receiving $12,000 (it's unclear if this is a lump sum or a monthly payment). Basically, if you aren't able to drive your six-figure super car, you shouldn't have to pay for it. Seems reasonable regardless of the make.
British owners, though, aren't being compensated, and for 30 to 35 owners, that's not acceptable. They've banded together and are led by Sunil Mehra.

Porsche Australia price cuts in excess of $36,000 irks customers

Tue, 04 Jun 2013

Have you ever gone to the store, only to become irked after learning that the new [*insert widget here*] that you bought just last week has gone through a price drop? If you're particularly thrifty, even if it's only a couple of bucks, you probably brought in your receipt to see if the store would issue you a credit for the difference. Now, imagine that the widget in question isn't a minor purchase, it's a Porsche - and the price drop isn't just a few bucks - it's thousands.
That's the unhappy scenario that recently faced a number of Australian luxury car buyers and the uncomfortable conversation awaiting the German automaker. According to GoAuto, Porsche Australia recently whacked up to $36,000 off the price of its models in order to jumpstart sales Down Under - the Panamera range itself saw cuts between $5,500 and more than $36,000. The aggressive price cut was a strategy designed to drive sales of more than 3,000 cars locally, a yearly goal originally set for 2018, but now hoped for as early as 2016.
Australia is known for its comparatively high car prices, so the dramatic price cuts were undoubtedly welcome news to potential Porsche shoppers. However, around 50 existing customers were understandably agitated by the reductions because they purchased their cars just before the adjustments took effect. Not only did they stand to lose out on the deals, they also had good reason to fear that their new cars' residual values would take a beating.
