You are looking at this super clean and reliable sports car. The 1986 porsche 944 provide you with a super fast and depandable engine perfomance. I have driven this car as a daily driver mostly on the highway. This car has been depandable than most cars I have owned. The pictures tell a story by themselves. The body is straight with no dents or dings. Its not a show car and of its edge the paint is in decent condition. The engine has always been serviced by professional dealer. The tires have over 80% life left in them. The interior is clean and well taken care of. It comes with after market DVD/CD player 7" touch screen. otherwise the car is all original. The only thing I would say is wrong with the engine is it started to overheat. The mechanic said I had to change the cooling fan Relay which I have bought but not yet installed and comes with the car. otherwise the fans have been tested and are working and Im sure after the new relay is installed this baby will be back rocking the streets. There is a deposit of $500. as soon as the bidding is over through paypal and the rest to be paid within three days or at pick up of the car. The buyer is responsible for pick up costs. Please if you intend to not pay for the car dont even bid. Just a by the way thing, dont be deceived by the miles on the car, the timming belt was changed, the water pump was changed, the oil pump was also changed, the shocks and struts where also changed, all this by a proffessional mechanic. this baby was well taken care of and I hate to see it go. lastly the car may need a new battery because when it sits for a few days without driving, the battery goes dead. good luck and bid with confidence.

Porsche's 959 is still poster-worthy after all these years

Thu, 24 Jul 2014

Today, we have the Porsche 918 Spyder. Before that, there was the Carrera GT. While both of those cars are dramatic departures from the traditional, rear-engine Porsche formula, they owe their very existence to another wild child of the iconic German brand - the 959.
Like so many of the great performance cars of yesteryear, the 959 was a homologation special, built just so Porsche could go racing in the clinically insane Group B rally series. Fewer than 400 959s hit the streets, but those that did were some of the most advanced cars of the 1980s. A rear-mounted, twin-turbocharged flat-six sent its power through a still-rare all-wheel-drive system, creating a race-inspired rocket that was, for a short time, the fastest production car on the planet.
Xcar has the story of the 959, from its inception to its conquest of the Paris-Dakar rally, which is interspersed with a drive of the legendary coupe. Scroll down for the full video.

Porsche kicks off Macan production at revamped Leipzig plant

Sun, 16 Feb 2014

After over two years of construction and roughly 500 million euros ($684 million at current rates) invested, Porsche finally opened its Leipzig, Germany, factory expansion on February 11. The improvements to the plant are dedicated to building the Macan and include a new body shop, paint shop and assembly line that are advancing Porsche's goal to sell 50,000 Macan's per year. The company believes that the new model is going to push it to over 200,000 annual sales 3 years ahead of schedule, and the enlarged branch can support even more Macan production, if there is demand.
"We are totally convinced in the qualities of this location and that the Macan will be a marketing success," said Porsche Chairman Matthias Müller during the opening celebration. The company opened its Leipzig factory in 2002 to build the Cayenne and added Panamera production in 2009.
The Macan models are due to launch in the US this summer with prices starting at $49,900. Scroll down to learn all of the details about the Macan's Leipzig assembly plant.

Porsche Cayman GT4 spotted at the N?rburgring

Tue, 13 May 2014

It was just the other day that we first caught wind of Porsche's plans to build a GT4 version of the Cayman, and now we're already looking at spy shots of the vehicle in question undergoing testing at - where else? - the Nürburgring.
With more aggressive front-end aero, a GT3-style air vent ahead of the front hood, a large wing at the back, and spindly alloys packed with over-sized brakes at each corner, this Cayman is clearly more extreme than even the range-topping GTS. The rear diffuser and central exhaust tips look about the same as those you'd find at the back of the Cayman GTS, though.
What we can't see, of course, is what Porsche has slotted in under the rear glass, how it's upgraded the interior and how much weight it's stripped out of the thing to get it down to fighting weight, but you can bet it'll come with a substantial power bump and a stripped-out interior with racing buckets and little else to open the gap between it and the GTS... and close the gap to the 911 GT3 which it will join as the baby brother in Porsche's performance-focused lineup. Click above to view the double-batch of spy shots.
