Selling my 1984 Porsche. I bought this car about 3 months ago mainly for the Fuch wheels that were on it and to have a spare parts car around, I own an 86 as well that is my daily driver.  I have the title in hand, it has brand new plates and a fresh registration sticker that I haven't even put on yet. Needs inspected. FULL DISCLOSURE,, the car is rough, interior is more less shot, no back seat. I would consider the shell in pretty good shape considering the age. Will need a clutch soon. The motor is super strong, car starts right up every time. Has a lot of pull when driving. Suspension good. Tires are in very good shape, almost new, and also comes with another set of almost brand new tires, they are in the car where the back seat would be and in the trunk.
I did drive the car home from Dallas when I bought it, about 45 miles, no issues, and I have drove it around town a couple times. Turn signals don't work but the 4 ways hazards do. Headlights work and go up and down no issues. Fog lamps missing. This car could be made into a daily driver if someone wanted to invest the time and money.... more than likely it would be best suited to turn into a track car. Also, even though the odometer reads 85,420 I WOULD NOT assume that is correct. The previous owner mentioned that it is not accurate. ODOMETER PROBABLY NOT ACCURATE.

I'm starting the auction off at $0.99. You are more than welcome to come look at the car, drive it, etc. I'm trying to sell the car locally too so I reserve the right o end the auction at anytime. Please  Do NOT bid if you have less than 10 positive feed backs and a feed back score of less than 98 %

I will only accept cash for payment.  I will require a deposit via pay pal at end of auction. It must be received within 24 hours of auction ending.

ALSO PLEASE NOTE !!!!!  I WILL BE GOING ON VACATION THE 27TH OF JANUARY AND WON'T BE RETURNING UNTIL FEB 6TH. THE CAR IS AT MY SHOP AND MY BROTHER CAN HELP WITH FINALIZING THE DEAL, TAKING PAYMENT AND RELEASING THE TITLE AND KEYS FOR THE CAR.

Porsche 918 Spyder debuts with new N"urburgring lap record [w/video]

Tue, 10 Sep 2013

It's been a long time in the making, but Porsche has finally revealed the final production version of its long-awaited 918 Spyder here at the Frankfurt Motor Show. And yet that's not even the big news surrounding the hybrid hypercar.
No, the big news is that, while Porsche was preparing taking the wraps off the car here in Frankfurt, elsewhere in Germany a team was setting a blistering lap time at the Nürburgring. And not just any blistering lap time, but a new world record.
Porsche claims that, on the morning of September 4, a team of three drivers (including former rally champ Walter Röhrl and Porsche test drivers Timo Kluck and Marc Lieb) broke the Nordschleife lap record, Lieb finally setting the best time at 6:57 at an average of 111 miles per hour.

Motor Trend puts Chevy Camaro Z28 and Porsche 911 GT3 Head 2 Head

Mon, Dec 29 2014

Motor Trend admits, "This is an unfair comparison." But that doesn't make it any less fun to watch when they pit a Camaro Z/28 against the Porsche 911 GT3. The former has a 7.0-liter V8 with 505 horsepower and 481 pound-feet of torque shifted through a six-speed manual. The latter has a 3.8-liter flat-six with 475 hp and 324 lb-ft shifted through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Yet those are only the little disparities – the big disparities are mass and money: the Camaro weighs 3,882 pounds and costs $76,150 as-tested, the Porsche weighs 3,267 pounds and costs $145,785. But they're both about hardcore performance, so MT takes them out on the street, to the drag strip, to the parking lot for figure eights and a skidpad test, and finally to Big Willow for Randy Pobst to give his professional assessment. Remember when a lotta people spent a lotta time debating Pirates vs. Ninjas? This is like that, only it's the "haul-ass good-time car" vs. the "track surgeon." Enjoy the debate in the video.
