San Diego, California, United States
Hello and welcome to my auction please read this Message First!! My ad's are different. I try to put Lot's of Pictures and they take a few minutes to download. I put A lot of different cars on EBAY and I Export most all of the cars either Overseas, to Canada, or across the United States. I Specialize in 1 & 2 Owner cars with Low miles. I feel they were Maintained better. There is a Free Autocheck in the ad. My scores are sometime DOUBLE the Average car. Although sometimes I can't pass up a good project...;-p. Anyways the BEST way I have found to tell You about my cars and show you everything on them from Thousands of miles away is a Video. On the 4th Picture down You will notice a play button in the center of the picture press it and watch away it’s a 15 to 25 minute Video of This Car!! It is a HD video so you may have to pause it and let it download a few minutes but you'll love it. This car is listed on other sites and is for sale. This Auction could end before its end date if sold elsewhere. Most of my EBAY auctions have the best offer button. Feel free to make a REASONABLE offer. I am a nice and Sociable person, ring me up if you have any questions about the car or if you have any problems looking at my ad here. Thank you very much for your time and considering my Vehicle. 1984 Porsche 944 Here is a nice 1 Owner Car that is clean but just needs a little work. Check out my store for more great Unique and Classic Cars. Look at the Autocheck Score. Make sure and check out the Video below. This is a nice, clean car that has a couple issues. It has the 2.5L 4cylinder engine which is a good motor that puts out a good amount of power. However The motor in this car has a rod knocking or a lifter making noise. Check out the video I start it up so you can hear it. The car will move around but the motor is going to need to be fixed or replaced. I do not drive it it was just ran to show you. It has the 5-Speed manual transmission which is what you want in one of these. This car is a 1 Owner Car that has just over 100K Original Miles on it. These cars are a blast to drive. Under the hood and under carriage are clean and dry as can be. Make sure to check the video I do a complete walk around of the car inside and out. Make sure to watch the video I do a complete walk around of this car inside and out. This is a 1 Owner Car The exterior of this car is nice but does have a couple small issues. The paint has a nice shine to it but does have some of the clear coat faded in spots. The body is straight but there is some damage on the rear passenger panel that you can see. This caused the car to have a Salvage Title which is unfortunate but also why so cheap. The car has the very nice "Phone Dial" wheels which are one of my favorite wheels on these cars. It has a nice set of tires that have good tread left on them. Options: 5-Speed Manual Transmission 2.5L 4cyl. Engine Power Windows Power Locks Power Seats Leather Factory A/C Aftermarket Blaupunkt CD Player The interior is nice in this car. It has the tan leather interior that looks great with the black exterior. The front seats are in great condition and just show stress marks from being sat and just a couple spots on drivers seat where it is coming apart at the seams. The passenger seat is dried out and does have some cracking. The back seats don't look like they were hardly sat in. The carpets are in the same great shape and show little wear and only have a couple smaller stains. The car is fully loaded with all the power options. Check out the video I go through and show you everything working or not. This is just a nice 1 Owner Car that when fixed up will be a very nice car. I am selling this car cheap so don't miss out. Yes it has the Obvious problems I show and you hear however what you have here is a Well Maintained 1 owner car that is the Perfect one to fix up Race or ??? I will NOT be Smogging this car or any of that if sold in California it will be sold as parts. Driving 50 years of Porsche 911 history
Fri, 06 Sep 2013Raiding The Porsche Museum For A Fun Track Day
It seems everyone is celebrating anniversaries this year: it's Aston's hundredth, Lamborghini's fiftieth, Ford Mustang's fiftieth, Chevy Corvette's sixtieth - and Tesla just turned ten or something. It's been a little out of hand, frankly, all these forced marketing festivities, but if we had to pick one milestone to really celebrate hard and party all night, the Porsche 911 would be at the top of our list.
Get ready for a major 911 blowout bash at next week's Frankfurt Motor Show. It was on September 12 back in 1963 at this very show where Porsche unveiled its "901" painted in a rather boring shade of beige. Though drably finished, the car caused a worldwide frenzy in the budding German sports car sphere.
24 Hours of Le Mans an on-and-off love affair
Mon, 24 Jun 2013There was little usual about this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans - intermittent rain in the weeks before the race meant cars didn't get on track as much as they wanted, and intermittent rain during the race meant cars went off track a lot more than they wanted. The race started with a wet track, and one of the records broken because of the random downpours was the number of times the safety car led the field - 11 times this year - although the record of two hours and 53 minutes of lapping behind the safety car, set in 2011, was not eclipsed.
None of that served to dampen the action. With little more than an hour left in the race there were cars still only a few seconds apart fighting for position, leads still changing because of pit stops and everyone drafting anyone they could.
Things didn't go the usual way up front, either - well, not exactly...
Jay Leno's Dodge Challenger raises $585k for USO in Scottsdale
Mon, Jan 19 2015Of all the metal moved in Scottsdale, AZ, this holiday weekend, the one you see here was hardly the most expensive. But it's noteworthy for another reason: despite being a relatively humble, second-hand 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8, raised an impressive $565,625. That's because, first of all, it belonged to Jay Leno, and secondly because the proceeds were going to the USO. Leno donated the modern muscle car from his collection to benefit our men and women in uniform, and was on hand to present the car on stage at the Gooding & Company auction, along with USO president J.D. Crouch II and former Army chief of staff General George W. Casey, Jr. After frenzied and patriotic bidding, the gavel ultimately dropped at $360,000, accompanied by over $200,000 in additional contributions, bringing the total amount donated to the USO to over half a million. Commendable though it was, of course the Challenger didn't garner the highest bids at the auction. A 1959 Ferrari 250 GT LWB California Spider sold for $7.7 million and a 1968 Ferrari 330 GTS fetched $2.4 million. A rare 1962 Ferrari 400 Superamerica Series I Coupe Aerodinamico sold for over $4,070,000 – which, according to Sports Car Market, is the most ever paid at auction for a 400 Superamerica. And a 1966 Porsche 906 Carrera 6 also sold for a record $1.98 million.
