Genuine 930 turbo widebody. Mileage is actual. One of approximately
450 or so 911 turbos produced for the USA in 1978 (not grey market). Great model year and one of the few 70’s lightweight 930s built.
Car is superb top to bottom with top line upgrades and proper maintenance over
the years (previous was one owner for 33 years from new). Complete history and full maintenance/parts/upgrades
portfolio binder with original dealer sales receipt (Niello Porsche-still in
business today) from the day of delivery up to to the present. This 930 is
serviced and ready to go. Car is stunning cosmetically at and is one of the most solid
and finest driving and sounding 930s on the market. It will of course pin you to your seat, and it
is easy to drive for being a 930. I wouldn’t hesitate to drive it cross
country. Engine fortified to 3.5 ruf specs, andial fuel and
intercooler, k27, ruf rsr 5sp, updated clutch (smooth as butter), bilstein
upgrade, hydraulic chain tensioners, polished 17 ruf wheels, headers, borla
dual exhaust and more. COA/engine matching numbers. The interior is rich and exotic in cashmere and is the
nicest one will find. Like the rest of the car, the original interior shows
very little ‘patina’ that one usually finds in these classic 930s. It is like new(still smells new!) and all
original except for the center console which was added but also trimmed in the
same tan leather so it looks stock (935 turbo gauge installed and vdo clocked
moved to console), ruf Momo 935 steering wheel, short shifter, upgraded rotary
AC (blows cold) and more.… Stereo and components upgraded 2013 high end spec(ipod, sat
radio, amps etc). All steel slant nose. Exterior paint updated to one year
avail only Porsche maraschino red metallic (original color is bitter chocolate – odd
70’s Porsche colors are en vogue (premium)
and one could convert this car back to the original mocha brown and have a
$100k+ car or enjoy it as it is – a beautiful looking and running 930 for $67k).
All the original tools (never used), books present. Everything
is up to date/serviced/sorted and it is turnkey. Recent PPI by a 30yr expert in these turbos states that it
is one of the finest examples of the 930 that he has ever inspected. An accident/rust free/very clean example. I cannot emphasize enough the high quality of
this 930. It is a great value and investment at what I have it priced at. Dash has some slight warping around the windshield vents and
there is a small dime size paint spider noticeable up close on the rear decklid. Video avail by request. 150 more

need my attention so no trades unless it is something that's worth more and also grabs at me. Payment
must clear before the pickup of the car and title. I have listed many high end
cars on ebay over the years and most got sold before the end of listing... BIN
is $67k. I can assist with setting up shipping to anywhere including worldwide if
needed. I am knowledgeable in these turbos and am easy to work with and will
work with the buyer to make the transaction and delivery as pleasant as
possible. Serious buyers, please contact

Porsche offers design walkthrough of Panamera Sport Turismo
Thu, 03 Jan 2013The Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo was arguably the best concept car of 2012, and Porsche has been building upon that momentum by teasing us with videos of its first-ever station wagon design. After showing us some driving shots of the Sport Turismo, Porsche released a more in-depth and behind-the-scenes look at what it took to take the Panamera shooting brake from a full-scale clay model to the final product we saw on stage at the Paris Motor Show. In the video, Michael Mauer, Porsche style director, and Mitja Borkert, general manager advanced design style, both give a little insight about what went into creating the Sport Turismo Concept.
More than just a station wagon version of the Panamera, the Sport Turismo has a totally distinctive look nose to tail. Some of the key elements the designers touch on in the video include the Porsche-signature raised front fenders, the wide rear shoulders, the front wing inspired by the 918 Spyder, and even some of the car's unique touches, including the headlights and the three-dimensional "Porsche" lettering across the liftgate made from glass. One of the more exciting aspects of the concept - which is sadly just glossed over in the video - is the rear liftgate spoiler that features "variable aerodynamics" that sounds like it acts similar to the retractable spoiler on the current Panamera.
We still don't know if the Panamera Sport Turismo will make it into production, but if you want to see what went into creating this exciting concept car and see the different build phases designers went through to create the Paris show car, check out the video by scrolling below.
Porsche 911 Turbos, and the new Lotus Emira | Autoblog Podcast #686
Fri, Jul 9 2021In this episode of the Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Road Test Editor Zac Palmer. The two talk about their experiences in the 911 Turbo and Turbo S Cabriolet, then pivot to talking about the BMW M3 Competition on the Indiana Nurburgring. They follow that up by discussing driver assistance systems, given recent experience in the 2021 Cadillac Escalade with Super Cruise and Hyundai's Highway Drive Assist. After that, they get into some news, talking about the new Lotus Emira and Genesis G80 Sport. Finally, they wrap up with a rather interesting two-for-one "Spend my Money" edition where they help two listeners with different car buying conundrums. Your guide to vehicle subscription services
Mon, Oct 1 2018They might be extremely limited in scope because of location availability, but vehicle subscription services are a growing trend that most luxury manufacturers are jumping on. Plans are expensive, but you're paying for much more than just the car typically. We highlighted four of the larger plans with a few more listed at the end. Care by Volvo Volvo launched its subscription service last year with its brand-new XC40. It was the only vehicle available for a time, but subscribers can now get an S60 sedan as well. Subscriptions are for two years, with the monthly price including insurance, a concierge service, wear-and-tear item replacements and all maintenance. You'll be able to drive 15,000 miles per year with whichever Volvo you choose, and although there are no options to extend that mileage, you can swap cars after a year. Pricing for the XC40 is $650 per month in base trim, while an S60 can be as expensive as $850 for the R-Design. Volvo's plan is to offer more cars soon through the service, but it's relatively limited compared to others right now. Porsche Passport Porsche has two levels in its subscription service: Launch and Accelerate. Launch will cost $2,000 per month and give you access to the Cayman, Boxster, Macan and Cayenne. All of those but the Cayenne can be had in "S" trim as well. Accelerate is where the fun really starts. For $3,000 per month you can choose from a fleet of 911s, including the S, 4S, Cabriolet and Cabriolet S. If those aren't enough, you can also get the Panamera 4S, Macan GTS and Cayenne S. There are no mileage limits and you can change vehicles as often as you'd like. Also included in the price is insurance, repairs, detailing and any maintenance. It might be extremely expensive and limited to Atlanta only, but this subscription service is second-to-none for what you get. Audi Select Audi just launched its subscription car service, and it's offered in one version for a flat fee of $1,395 per month. For that you'll have access to five different cars including the A4, S5 Coupe, A5 Cabriolet, Q5, and Q7. Not a bad range of vehicles, but it would've been neat to see the recently updated A7 in there too. Maybe in time. Like the others, insurance and maintenance are wrapped up in the price. Audi is allowing for unlimited miles and two car swaps per month here. In addition to that, you'll get two days of free rentals through Audi's Silvercar rental agency should you go on a trip.
