Up for auction is a VERY RARE CHOCOLATE brown/tan 1987 928 S4 Porsche. The following items have been done on the car back around March, 2012. I have driven the care approximately 600 miles since I purchased it back in April, 2012. This car has it's original radio and clock, which is unusual. It has the original fuse documentation, very rare, has all the tools that came with it in 1987. A kill switch was installed at some point before I purchased it and I have added a trickle charger. There is a new battery (3 months old).
The work was performed at Motorwerks of Houston off of the Southwest Freeway in Houston, Texas
1. A/C Pressure line replaced (am having a bit of an issue with the A/C currently) 2. Oil Pan reseal and valve cover gasket 3. Replace motor mounts 4. New tires 5. HVAC blower 6. Alternator vent 7. 2014 Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid

By the end of this year, Porsche will be producing as many plug-in vehicles (two) as mainstream automakers such as Toyota, Chevrolet and Honda. Before the 2015 918 Spyder hybrid supercar goes on sale in the US, though, it will be warming its customers up to the idea of a plug-in model with the 2014 Panamera S E-Hybrid. A step up from the previous Panamera S Hybrid, the new plug-in Panamera adds a more powerful and advanced electric drive system that pledges to deliver the performance expected of a Porsche with the added benefit of improved fuel economy and reduced emissions.
Going on sale in November, the Panamera S E-Hybrid is aimed at customers also considering the upcoming plug-in version Mercedes-Benz S-Class, but the car's dimensions and performance could make it a competitor for Tesla Model S customers. We headed to Germany at Porsche's invitation to see how well it performs, as well as check out the full range of newly refreshed Panamera models, which now numbers nine offerings - although we're still waiting for a production version of the gorgeous Sport Turismo wagon concept.
Evo sets up duel of Porsche 911s
Thu, 20 Mar 2014What's better, rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive? That question has occupied auto enthusiasts for years, and so far, we've not really had a solid answer one way or the other. Evo has opted to take another whack at this tough question by pairing a pair of Porsche 911s against each other for a track battle.
In one corner, we have the two-wheel-drive 911 Carrera S, complete with the lickity-split PDK transmission, a sports suspension and carbon-ceramic brakes. In the other corner, it's the all-wheel-drive 911 Carrera 4S in a much mellower spec, with a seven-speed manual, as well as standard brakes and suspension. While the results seem like they'd be a foregone conclusion, some very British weather is there to act as the great equalizer.

'Ring Queen Sabine Schmitz battles Ron Simons in Porsche vs Ferrari scrap

RSR Nürburgring recently took the time to pit Sabine Schmitz and her slightly modified Porsche 911 GT3 RS against Ron Simons and his Ferrari 458 Italia in a sparring match around the infamous Green Hell. The clip begins with the two drivers engaging in a smidgeon of smack talk before the two get down to the business of beating each other's doors off around one of the most challenging courses in the world. Simons calls his car superior to Schmitz's 911, while Schmitz says she's up against nothing more than a Fiat driven by an old Dutch man.
Don't hold any punches, you two.
We won't spoil the finale for you, but we will say the tango is worth watching. At the end, the loser calls for a rematch. We can't wait to see that throwdown. Check out the clip below for yourself.
