Porsche 928 S4 1987 Model on 2040-cars
Cocoa, Florida, United States
1987 Black 928 S4, low miles, 69,900 all records garage kept but not a garage queen, she is a driver and I do enjoy it on the road. The car has had all its SERVICE, recent service includes Water Pump, Timing belts, AC, Air filters, Rear dif flushed and refilled with Royal Purple! Trans serviced new fluid, NEW FRONT control arms!!! those were pricey to, $2000, only way to replace the bushings on the front end, has it handling like a new one! New fuel tank ordered from Germany, the original cracked, they are plastic. New Master Cylinder, new Cross Drilled and slotted break rotors all four corners along with new pads. Plugs are recent as well.
Upgraded the stock 16" wheels to black aluminum 18" with new Perreli staggered P-Zeros! 4 wheel alignment performed when installed, Old stock 16" wheels available. I just detailed the interior of the car and shampooed the carpet, the leather seats show some age but are in good shape. minor cracks in dash around vent openings. The shift handle is lose, plastic!!! and will need replacing but it does work. The car has the performance bypass in the exhaust and sounds sweet! I know I am probably leaving allot out, but ask any questions you have, the car was cared for before me and shows it,, not many 928s around in good shape like this one,, I am listing it because I have a son in College and most know the rest of that story,, I did invest in this car to keep it!! I hope the pics show the condition of her, but nothing beats in person! Its still a head turner, every time I have it out, I get ask "what kind of car is that" and long stares! Thanks for looking |

Porsche reveals new 911 Turbo Cabriolets, starting from $160,700*
Mon, 23 Sep 2013Porsche has come a long way from the days when its entire model line revolved essentially around the 911, but its prototypical rear-engined sports car is still what it's known for best, and still keeps the German automaker pretty busy. With a seemingly endless array of variations on the theme, the 911s just keep on coming until a new generation arrives and then it starts all over again. And what we have here is the new king of the hill (for now, anyway).
Set to debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show a little less than two months from now are the new Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolets. And no, that's not a typo: that's cabriolets, plural, because what you're looking at are two new models. First up is the 911 Turbo Cabriolet, whose 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six develops 520 horsepower, driving the droptop to 60 miles per hour in 3.3 seconds. That's Porsche's claim, and we have a feeling it's a bit conservative. But if that's still not enough, the 911 Turbo S Cabriolet adds an extra 40 hp for a total of 560 to drop the benchmark acceleration run down to 3.1 seconds.
That makes the new topless Turbos 30 horses stronger and 0.2 seconds quicker than the respective models they replace, but the weight penalty involved with replacing a fixed roof with a folding one (and the necessary structural reinforcement) does make the new 911 Turbo Cabs a smidgen more lethargic than their contemporary coupe counterparts, which run the gauntlet in 3.2 and 2.9 seconds in standard Turbo and upgraded Turbo S specs, respectively. They only lose a single tick on the top speed, though, which clocks in at a follicle-tickling 195 mph in either spec. Otherwise the specifications are as identical as you might expect.
The pre-race and first in-race report from Le Mans
Sat, 22 Jun 2013The 2013, 90th anniversary edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans has begun, tragedy marking the opening laps with the death of Allan Simonsen. We're at the track now as a guest of Audi and plan to stay through the evening, and even we haven't been able to find out what caused the accident - the only video is from just after the incident, and beyond the statement from ACO there's been no more news. The Aston Martin in the LM GTE Am class and its all-Danish drivers had taken pole in its class and was one of the favorites to win.
The pre-race report will come first, and even thought we can't spoil the race because we're only five hours into it at the time of writing, we'll put all of the news at the end in case you don't even want the updates.
Or you can go straight to the high-res galleries above.
Audi RS7 vs. Porsche Panamera Turbo, which would you pick? [w/poll]
Wed, 08 Jan 2014We live in a blessed time - a time when you can buy not just one, but two (or three, or four) monstrously powerful, blazingly fast four-doors that can't only keep up with modern supercars, but in some instances, will outperform them as well. Two of the finest are the Audi RS7 and the refreshed Porsche Panamera Turbo, and Motor Trend has been messing around with the both of them in this comparison video.
MT provides a comprehensive and entertaining look at the RS7 and the turbocharged Panamera as they go through a battery of tests, before getting tossed about on both the road and the track. Starring flip-flop aficionado Jonny Lieberman, it's a must-watch, whether you're in the market for one of the two super sedans or merely want to see the former Autoblog editor again.
After having a look at the video, register a vote for the car you'd park in your driveway in our poll. Hop below for the full video from the team at Motor Trend.
