PORSCHE 928 GTS NUMBER MATCHING with COA, meaning GTS Bodywork, larger front brakes, 5.4 L engine with 345 hp.
Super rare (1 of 208 in 1993 and 406 total US production Original paint code in Midnight blue metallic F8 (see original sticker and COA)
with a cashmere interior.
The paint is a 8/10. The left front fender was replaced at one time with an original GTS fender. Everything else
is original even front bumper with original damping under hood. Production sticker in back, This is a 0 rust
vehicle. Again 0 rust.
The engine and transmission are very strong. A lot of service done to it. Last timing belt change was in 2010 and I
would recommend to do it again. I purchased German parts to do the job, but have not done it. (I also purchased a
new water pump-should be changed at the same time). There are no leaks under the car anywhere. Super clean engine
and transmission. Engine has excellent compression value and passed rigorous CA EMISSIONS TESTING. A FULL
Transmission service was done in 2018.
Complete mechanical recomissioning incl. brakes, with new brake discs in front, ball joints and tie rod ends, new
tires and Bielstein shocks in front. Alignment done in 2018.

Driving the million-mile Porsche 356
Fri, 30 Aug 2013Maybe you've seen or heard about the Porsche 356 with almost one-million miles (though it doesn't look like it), but Petrolicious finally has produced a video to show us what it's like to drive the 982,000-mile car. Guy Newmark's beautiful, dark-blue 1964 356C looks great in motion - much better than in photos - and serves to remind us not only what meticulous car care can do for old classics, but that old Porsches were built to last.
So how fastidious is Newmark about maintaining it? He takes the car to his mechanic of 40 years every 3,000 miles for an oil change and to fix anything that needs attention.
Newmark says his 356 "is everything you could want," and that he finds errands to do just to go drive it. We would, too. The next-best thing is to watch the inspiring video below of the well-traveled Porsche.
VW confirms development of 10-speed dual clutch, 134-hp/liter diesel
Fri, 26 Apr 2013Each year, the Vienna International Motor Symposium showcases some of the up-and-coming technologies automakers are engineering for the use in passenger cars, and Volkswagen AG CEO Martin Winterkorn revealed some big developments VW is working on for its future products. Winterkorn discussed a multi-faceted approach that VW is looking to reduce its fleet fuel consumption and exhaust emissions.
Some of the bigger news he discussed included a "high-performance" diesel engine that will produce 134 horsepower per liter and a 10-speed DSG automatic transmission. While no specific applications were mentioned, we can only hope this is for the Audi R4 we keep hearing about.
Another topic he touched on that caused us to perk up our ears was had to do with VW's plug-in hybrid technology. While we know the PHEV versions of the Audi A3 and Porsche Panamera are on the way, Winterkorn also said that these two models will be followed up by Golf, Passat, Audi A6 and Porsche Cayenne plug-in models. Singer Porsche, Koenigsegg, NSX: Leno's life doesn't suck

Not only did he get to pal around with Ian Callum and check out the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, but the denim-clad comedian also headed to The Quail to talk to some prominent figures in the modern sports car scene. Capping off the fun, he got to take a drive in a Mercedes-AMG GT S, too Perhaps the highlight of this show is a nearly 10-minute interview with Christian von Koenigsegg. The founder of the Swedish hypercar company digs deep into the Agera One:1's engineering details, relating interesting facts about the aerodynamics and transmission. In addition, Leno chats with Rob Dickenson of Singer about its newly reimagined Porsche 911 Targa, and he gets the latest scoop on the Acura NSX's progress from newly promoted Acura Vice President and General Manager Jon Ikeda. If you like hearing about the nuts and bolts of sports car development, then this video can't be missed. Of course, we were there at Monterey, too, and we pointed our own cameras at some of the amazing machinery, both vintage and modern, at all the various car-focused events of the week.
