Hi you are looking at a VERY NICE ALL ORIGINAL 2 owner 1985 Porsche 928 S 5 speed car with only 66 K ORIGINAL MILES! The current owner has spared no expense to keep this beautiful original 928 in its current state of almost pristine condition.
This is a rare U.S spec 5 speed car that looks to be as perfectly preserved over the years as you will find! Overall this 928 functions as it should with no known issues. The water pump and belts have been changed along with the follow up belt tension adjustment after 3000 miles. THE AIR BLOWS COLD.
The interior burgundy leather interior is in beautiful all original almost mint condition with no rips or tears in the leather anywhere and all the original leather stitching on the seats and dash is in very good condition and is still intact. I did find a VERY SMALL crack in the dash at the base were it meets the windshield. The body is very straight all the way around and the paint is factory original and still looks fresh and just fantastic from any angle. The underside of the car is just as original and clean and the factory exhaust is still in very nice original condition with no leaks. The clutch has approximately 70 % percent of life left on it. The only known not factory upgrade is the in dash stereo radio with CD player.
I sold Porsche"s for 27 years starting my career with Porsche in 1985 I remember these cars to be the top of the line model for that year and most cars were automatics.THIS CAR IS A ROLLING TIME CAPSULE that deserves the right to be in any serious Porsche indoor car collection.
It needs NOTHING you can drive it home TODAY all tho I prefer you transport it in a enclosed trailer to preserve its true beauty!
Let the pictures do the talking! If you know 928's this car will definitely impress you and is definitely a good buy for the right person.

Watch a Porsche 918 Spyder being built by hand
Sat, Jan 3 2015No music track, no dialogue, no voiceover, just a group of women and men in a very clean room in Zuffenhausen assembling the Porsche 918 Spyder. It's the antidote to the adrenaline that the open-topped hybrid coupe encourages in most enthusiast bloodstreams, but this nearly-11-minute video is the most captivating B-roll we've seen in a while. From hand-sewn leather to hand-wrapped trim, monococques being wheeled about, the copious use of shims and the rear brace being fitted over the engine, plus the Christmas-like joy of opening a box of body panels, it's all in there. You can't buy a new one anymore, but you can see how they're built for those who did buy them in the video above. Porsche drivers escape this horrific VIR crash unscathed
Mon, 07 Oct 2013There is no doubting the fact that it takes nerves of steel to be a racecar driver, but the same can also be said for motorsports photographers. Case in point: The American Le Mans Series Oak Tree Grand Prix at the Virginia International Raceway where two Porsche 911 racecars crash hard into the tire barrier, but the dedicated cameraman stays with the shot - diving away only at the last second just as the battered No. 31 car (shown above) comes to rest atop the tire barriers just feet from where he was standing.
The crash occurred when the two Porsches charged hard into a corner. Judging by the video, the white No. 48 car appears to not see the orange No. 31 and the two cars make contact, skidding off track hitting the tire barriers at a high rate of speed. Both drivers walked away from the frightening crash, but the video - posted below - shows just how bad things could have been. Hopefully the close call will serve as a lesson for the woman standing in the track marshal's post who has her back to the racing as the two cars barrel directly toward her.
Porsche tells 2014 911 GT3 owners to park their cars pending inspection
Thu, 20 Feb 2014Porsche may have have a serious problem on its hands. After a rumored five 2014 911 GT3 coupes caught fire in recent weeks, Porsche launched an investigation and stopped delivering its road-ready racecar until it could diagnose the problem. Now, it has issued a press release asking all 2014 911 GT3 owners to immediately stop driving their cars until they can be inspected. Porsche is offering to pick up the cars from owners' homes and take them to the nearest dealer.
Porsche confirms that the at least two 911 GT3 coupes them have caught fire in Europe, and it has elected to inspect all 785 2014 GT3s worldwide. However, it claims no drivers have been injured in the fires. Unfortunately, Porsche says, "Internal studies to determine the cause of the engine damage have not been completed yet," so owners might have a bit of a wait before they are able to drive Porsche's ultimate 911 again.
