Selling my beautiful Porsche 924S. For those not familiar with this model, this is a 924 with the 944 engine. There were only two production years of this vehicle. I am not the original owner and acquired this vehicle about 10 years ago from a private seller. This car was driven just for fun (not a commuter) and has less than 90k miles on it. It is clean (looks great), has been well maintained, and garage kept. It starts and runs great, the auto transmission shifts smoothly, and it has a current vehicle inspection sticker and almost new tread. Many upgrades including Blaupunkt CD player, new speakers and power antenna, Porsche side and door sill decals, tinted glass, and a rear lens upgrade kit. Mirror bras and front bra included with the vehicle. This auction is being started at salvage value with NO RESERVE. This car is being sold absolutely "as is" and WILL sell to the highest bidder. It is hard to believe this car is over 25 years old. It has absolutely no rust, much less wear than one would expect, and is a steal at this price. 2019 Tokyo Auto Salon features one of the coolest auctions we've seen
Thu, Jan 3 2019In just over a week, the Tokyo Auto Salon will host one of the coolest auctions we've seen in years. Jalopnik spotted BH Auction's listings, and it's a cornucopia of hot machinery you won't typically find at American auctions like Gooding & Company or Barrett Jackson. While Japanese cars make up most of the listings, Ferrari, Porsche, BMW and even Dodge all have at least one car going up for auction. We won't include everything here, but you can check out the full list on BH Auction's website. There are 50 lots at the auction, including nine Nissan Skylines, nine Ferraris and two Porsche Carrera GTs. Some of our other favorites include a Honda S800 coupe, a Toyota Miniace truck, a Mitsubishi Willys Jeep and a 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL gullwing with the V8 from a W124 Mercedes-Benz E60 AMG that's estimated to sell for between $1.25 million and $1.5 million.
