Up For sale is a 1973 Porsche 914 V6 conversion. This car was built from a 53k mile calif. rust free 2.0L car. Car was never wrecked. This car has been through a complete ground up rotiseree restoration (approx 8 years ago) Original Ivory color. Flared fenders are Fiberglass. Wheels are real FUCHS 7" in front 8" in rear. Engine is a 1993 chevy 4.3L thats was rebuilt at Team C in Paramount ca. appox 330 HP Original trans was rebuilt too. Car has a complete 1983 911SC front end under it. New front calipers(not rebuilt), 914-6 rear calipers.

Volkswagen Group previews its wares on eve of Geneva show
Mon, 05 Mar 2012The Volkswagen Group is comprised of 11 brands producing 240 vehicles across 49 factories throughout the world. So the best way to show off the range of the VW family is to cram a few thousand journalists and VIPs into a massive makeshift stand to outline the Group's goals, what's in the pipeline and what you'll be able to buy later this year.
To that end, VW pulled out all the stops on the eve of the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, bringing along 10 vehicles from across the range. We'll be delving into the details of each over the next two days of show coverage, but before that happens, you can read all about what we saw tonight from the cheap seats after the break.
Malaise Era All-Stars
Fri, 17 May 2013A few weeks ago, we bid a fond happy 40th anniversary to the automotive dark ages of 1973-84 that have come to be known as "The Malaise Era" - the performance ice-age when 160 horsepower was a lot and a 0-60 time of under 10 seconds was remarkable. Like music in the 1980s, everything in automobiledom didn't suck, however. There were a few bright spots. Here are five of our favorites:

Porsche 911 already testing next refresh
Wed, 11 Dec 2013The latest Porsche 911 may still be a newer car, but that hasn't stopped the German company from starting development of a facelifted version of the rear-engined sports car, testing in what looks like southern Europe.
Due to hit the market in 2015, our spies think what we're seeing here is the new GTS variant, which, following the evolution of the last-generation 911, will make its debut on the facelifted car. Featuring the wider rear haunches of the all-wheel-drive Carrera 4, the GTS should enjoy a slight power boost, to 408 ponies.
Aesthetically, there are some additional vents in the rear bodywork, along with a revised front bumper and tweaked day-time running lights. The taillights get some attention as well, and will likely grow over the current car's skinny rear lamps.
