The mileage on this car is according to the Speedometer which does not work.  please read further
2.0L 4cyl engine with dual Weber carb conversion, dual K&N air filters, new plugs, wires, new points, and shifter bushings. Compression has been checked and tested great, The oil cooler has a fan that can be tuned on by toggle switch on the gauge console. The car has fiberglass front bumper, all of the paint is 2 years old.  Targa top is a 9 out of 10, custom mirrors that are adjustable from the dash.  It has a Pioneer CD player, tinted windows, and a newer battery.  The headlight motors work very well and bulbs are bright.  full size spare tire (just like the ones on the car).  Fuel lines have been replaced and pump has regulator gauge on it.
Under the driver side dash is a regulation rally fire extinguisher,  It was there when i got the car so I will leave it there.  It is there for appearance and I cannot guarantee that it works, but it looks nice.  The issues that I know of with the car are 1. The heater does not work, I'm not for sure why. 2. The Speedometer gauge does not work.  3. Temp gauge is not hooked up  4. the emergency brake is not hooked up as well.  This car is fun to drive and I have had no Mechanical issues with it.  The interior could use some TLC but doesn't require it.  If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Watch the Chevy Corvette dismiss its Euro rivals at the hands of a Brit magazine

Sat, 08 Feb 2014

European auto writers, especially the British, have a bit of a reputation for favoring their own domestic cars over foreign rivals in comparison tests. Just think about how many times you've heard Jeremy Clarkson deify the latest product of UK loins while denigrating an American rival as a hopeless "Yank Tank." However, we have to tip our hats to the folks at Autocar because in its latest video comparing the 2014 Corvette Stingray to the Porsche 911, Jaguar F-Type V8 S and Audi R8, it's actually given the Vette a fair shake.
Autocar has put the Stingray through a battery of tests against what it considers to be the three best sports cars on sale in Europe today. And while the tests that it has chosen are somewhat random and subjective, it has concluded that the C7 can stand up against its rivals, even irrespective of its price. It's one thing to hear about how great the Stingray is from American writers, but it's great to know that not all Brits think we've gone crazy for calling the new Chevrolet "exquisite."
Scroll down to see how it all plays out on video.

Porsche Cayman GT4 spot has us reaching for our driving gloves

Wed, Feb 4 2015

We've got to hand it to Porsche for finally unleashing the potential of the Cayman, and not worrying about it infringing on 911 territory. The latest Cayman is, by all accounts, a superb sports car in its own right, gets even better as the Cayman S and that much more so in GTS spec. But the new Cayman GT4 takes things to a whole other level with a 3.8-liter flat six driving 385 horsepower to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual. Old school is what it is, and certifiably off the leash. We brought you the full skinny on the new GT4 late last night when it surfaced, but now Porsche has released a video clip highlighting what makes its new pocket rocket look so great. It's got Nurburgring graffiti, intimidated neighbors, barking fluffy dogs, gape-jawed children, and of course footage of the Cayman GT4 itself doing what it was designed to do. All we need now is to get our driving gloves on its Alcantara steering wheel and ball-shaped shifter.

Jay Leno plugs himself into Porsche's 918 Spyder

Mon, 24 Mar 2014

As one of the greatest sports car manufacturers of all time, when Porsche puts out a new, ultra-exclusive hypercar, enthusiasts tend to stand up and take note. Jay Leno is no exception, and now, the funnyman is finally getting his time with awesome 918 Spyder.
With his 1963 Porsche 356 and his 2005 Carrera GT flanking a Liquid Silver 918, Leno takes us through the basics of this plug-in hybrid roadster alongside Daniel Eastman of Porsche North America. Following the chat, Leno and Eastman take the German-plated car through the streets of California, testing it in a number of modes and even going on a short, all-electric freeway cruise.
If you're looking to learn more about the 918, or to just here its glorious gas engine at work, you'll want to scroll down and take a look at the latest episode of Jay Leno's Garage.
