1969 Porsche 912
VIN 129021752
Engine # 4094766 (Original Engine)
Tranmission- Four Speed Gearbox
Odometer: 27,518
Actual mileage is 127,518. This mileage is supported from mechanical receipts dating back to 1969.
Original window sticker included. Purchased from Four J Motors, 6000 Pacific Blvd, Huntington Park, Calif.
Delivered on 3/29/69.
Many records for the car dating all the way back to 1969. Including the original red plastic Maintenance Record
book from Porsche.
Paint Code: 63-6803-H Ossi Blue
Original paint in the door jambs, car has been repainted Blue many years ago. Paint is driver quality and looks
very good five feet away but close examination shows scratches, checking, and some chips in the front.
This car is a time warp. Original carpets and original headliner. Even the interior smell of the car takes you
back to 1969. This is not a showcar, this is a car that has been driven and enjoyed. Hopefully this car will find
a home with somebody who will continue to drive it, just like it was designed to do.
CHASSIS- How much RUST???
We all know that every old 911/912 has rust. One of the worst places to find rust is around the rear torsion bar
tube area. This car shows NO rust around the rear torsion bar tubes. Quite often rust is found in the rocker
panel area and the bottom of the front fenders – this car is solid in both areas. I am not going to say there is
no rust but I can assure you that there is not the type of rust that is typically found in many of these cars. The
car was repainted many years ago, if they would have painted over rust there would be signs of the rust coming thru
the paint, no signs of rust are visible in the paint.
RECENT MECHANICAL WORK- Performed at 27,300 miles ( 200 miles ago)

SUMMARY:
This 1969 Porsche 912 is special because it is a very original, unmolested long wheel base 912. The car is a
pleasure to drive and really takes you back in time. While there are plenty of cosmetic flaws through-out the car
they are the type of flaws that happen when you use a car. The general condition of the car represents a car that
has been taken care of it whole life, as all the mechanical receipts give evidence. Runs and drives very well.

Singer 911 gorgeousness explored and experienced by Chris Harris
Thu, 17 Jan 2013Few things get us as cranked up as a Porsche 911. Generation after generation, this rear-engined oddity has exhilarated our senses, and the new 991 is the most capable iteration yet. Even so, there's a lot to be said for the older models, from their lighter weights and more modest dimensions to their air-cooled thrums.
That elemental vintage Porsche appeal hasn't been lost on Los Angeles-based Singer Vehicle Design, which has endeavored to take the best bits from every generation of 911 and combine them into one impossibly sexy rear-engined machine. Based on a 964 donor car, we knew that a lot of work would need to go into everything from the structure to the bodywork to realize the Singer's cohesive aesthetic and dynamic vision, but we didn't know just how much until we watched this Drive video featuring Chris Harris. The auto journo gets time with the 350-horsepower, Cosworth-motivated coupe on both mountain passes and at the track, but what could be the most interesting thing about the 27-minute-long video is his in-depth plant tour.
Check it out by scrolling below, but not before paging through our new Singer 911 gallery.
The mid-engine Porsche backstory
Thu, 09 Oct 2014As an automaker's identity evolves over years, its signature becomes defined by any number of factors - heritage (Mercedes-Benz), image (Lamborghini), or market share (Toyota). In the case of Porsche, it was an engineering quirk that forged the German company's most enduring character trait.
Porsche would not have survived - let alone, thrived - in today's saturated landscape had it not been for the 911, and that slope-tailed sports car wouldn't have sprung to life without its predecessor, the 356. While phenomenal success of those rear-engine icons built the company, forays into the mid-engine configuration have played a significant part in establishing the brand's identity.

Build your dream garage with this insane prize from Omaze
Wed, Jan 19 2022Autoblog may receive a share from purchases made via links on this page. Pricing and availability is subject to change. No donation or payment necessary to enter or win this sweepstakes. See official rules on Omaze. Normally when we write about Omaze sweepstakes, they involve a car that you'd never go out and buy on your own. A six-figure camper van build, a $300,000 Ford Bronco restoration, a Land Rover Defender that's so beautiful it should be in a museum. Today's prize might beat out all of those, because not only could you win a dream car, you'll be entered for a chance to win $100k cash to go along with it. There are a lot of cars you can buy with $100k. You could buy a Land Cruiser Heritage Edition or a Mustang GT500 or 6 Chevy Sparks and start your own racing series. Personally, if I won that kind of dough, assuming I also won this Bentley Bentayga, my favorite of Omaze's current offerings, I'd probably use some of it to buy something quirky, like a Honda Element converted into a pop-top camper, or a restored/upgraded 60 series Land Cruiser. Think that's a terrible way to spend the cash? That's the beauty of it. It is completely up to you. No one can tell you what to do with it. Except maybe your spouse. Here are our favorite vehicle giveaways we’ve found online this week: 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Edition - Enter at Omaze Regardless of what you think about Ford using the name Mustang for an electric crossover, one thing is for certain, the Mustang Mach-E GT is an impressive piece of machinery.
