Porsche 911 Carrera 2s on 2040-cars
San Jose, California, United States
For sale is my 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera S 3.8L H6, original white paint with black leather interior. My car has a little over 16K pampered miles. This Carrera 911S is for the real Porsche enthusiast with the traditional manual (7spd) transmission. For Porsche lovers like myself, the upgraded 'S' version is the way to go, with its 400HP engine, upgraded brake system and wheel/tire package. This car is well optioned with Premium Package Plus, Sport Chrono Plus, 20" Classic 2 wheels with full color crest cap, Bose Audio Package, 14 way Sport Seats with heating/cooling function and the Sport Tuned factory exhaust option. This exhaust is exceptional, low grumble with a F1 high-rev sound. I changed the original red rear tail lamps to the OEM clear version. I have the red tail lamps, and will include them with the sale of the car. New rear Pirelli tires recently replaced. Minor 10k maintenance was performed at the local dealership. The car has always been stored indoors and hand washed. The car has never been in any accidents of any kind, all original paint and body panels, no door dings or scratches, anywhere! The car is in pristine, like new overall condition. I am the second owner, I bought the car through a Porsche broker last summer. The car is very seldom driven; for most of my commuting and comfort reasons I prefer my Cayenne. Original MSRP was $110,575. Factory warranty is valid until 01/03/2017 or 50K miles, whichever comes first. I have free and clear CA title in hand. Car is CA registered until 01/2016. I am starting the sale/auction at a very competitive price, without a reserve.

2020 Porsche 911 Speedster spied with an angry driver
Wed, Feb 13 2019Porsche gave us details and showed us a concept of the 911 Speedster at the Paris Motor Show. Today, we bring you spy shots of what appears to be the production version of that concept with a few changes on board. They're rather minimal modifications, but the Speedster's driver appears especially angry with our spy photographer as he extends his middle finger directly toward the camera. Sorry, not sorry, Mr. Test Driver. Public testing of pre-production cars always comes with photo risks, and Porsches tend to attract more attention than others. You'll notice what appears to be a Cayenne Coupe prototype we've previously spotted running around with the 911. The Speedster Concept we saw in Paris had epic retro mirrors and fuel cap on the front hood, but both those design touches are absent from this pre-production car. It's tougher to see, but we lost the vents in between the two humps, as well. Everything else appears to have made it to production-spec. We can't say we're surprised these concept car features probably won't show up on the production car, but it is a tad deflating. You'll notice the Speedster is based-off the 991.2 generation of 911 and not the new 992. Porsche did a similar thing when the 997 generation was coming to an end with a Speedster model paying tribute to that car's life. The chassis is said to utilize parts from the 911 GT3, and the wonderful naturally aspirated flat-six engine gets carried over from that car, too. Porsche didn't specify if power will be exactly the same as the GT3, but we'll be expecting about 500 horsepower and a 9,000 rpm redline. We were told the six-speed manual would be offered on the Speedster in Paris, too. Let's just say that we strongly approve of that combination. Production will be limited to only 1,948 cars and begin in the first half of this year. We'll expect a reveal with a full spec breakdown soon, possibly for the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. A closer look at the 2015 Porsche Macan
Wed, 27 Nov 2013
He assured us that "this is a sports car."
Porsche took the wraps off its all-new 2015 Macan at the LA Auto Show last week, and while it's easy to write it off as just a badge-engineered version of the Audi Q5, you'd be very, very wrong. For starters, 75 percent of the car's platform was re-engineered by the Porsche team, and with a choice of two twin-turbocharged engines, the Macan should absolutely live up to the brand's pedigree.
2014 Porsche 911 GT3 and GT3 Cup step out early
Mon, 04 Mar 2013Though Porsche won't be feeding us the full 911 enchilada until tomorrow's Geneva-based festivities, we have managed to scare up some official images of the 2014 911 GT3, as well as the all-new 911 GT3 Cup. As Porsche is celebrating 50 years of the 911, we anticipate a good day for great cars.
The new GT3 looks every bit the proper successor to the racy 911 nameplate, with a fixed rear wing large enough to serve cocktails on, a curvaceous body kit and 20-inch wheels that offer a dominating on-road stance. It's a good bet that Porsche will have coaxed something like 450 horsepower from the naturally aspirated, 3.8-liter flat-six engine that hangs over the car's rear axle. A seven-speed manual and Porsche's own PDK transmission are the likely gearbox offerings.
Should the mental quickness and imposing wingery of the standard GT3 not be enough for you, future racecar driver, Porsche is also bringing a GT3 Cup car to Geneva. The German automaker has given just a few scant details about this Cup car - 460 hp on tap, a production run of just 2,400 units - including three images of the kitted out racer. Certainly more and finer details will emerge, when Porsche shines the spotlights on its new 911s tomorrow.
