I'm the third owner, and have had her almost 5 years. She is in excellent condition, and has won the local PCA "Peoples Choice" honors twice. The only thing that doesn't work is the windshield wiper delay rheostat, which is available from the dealer. She will likely need tires to pass inspection, which I plan to leave to the new owner as tire selection is a personal choice. The Targa top is original and in excellent condition, never folded. The driver seat edge piping shows typical wear, and the left front wheel rim has some minor curb rash. See photos.
Exterior finish is regularly maintained and in excellent shape, though there are a few stone dings on the hood typical of a car driven. People on the street often comment on the beautiful and unique Venetian Blue color.
I have maintenance records. She has just been serviced: plugs, air filter, A/C charge, engine oil, and transmission oil change. I replaced the fuel lines (P/N 930-110-595-05 and 930-110-411-03) at 43,454 miles, these are the fuel lines that are a known fire source for Porsches this age. I replaced the brake hoses with OEM parts and flushed the system at 51,438. I replaced the front brake pads and the oil tank level sensor with OEM parts at 54,675.
The car comes with a dust cover, owners manuals, maintenance manual, tonneau cover, service cover (to cover rear fenders while working in engine bay-$130), cat bypass, miscellaneous care car and maintenance supplies, aftermarket air pump and lug wrench.
The car is all stock, except for a dual exhaust installed by the previous owner. The exhaust makes a wonderfully deep sound, an opinion shared by my co-workers and even my wife. She (the car that is) is a thrill to drive and very dependable. Two kids in college is why she must be (reluctantly) sold to a good home.

2014 Porsche Panamera 4S Executive
Fri, 09 Aug 2013If the idea of a Porsche sedan (or, long hatchback) is still off-putting to you, then you might want to look away now. For 2014, the polarizing Panamera has received a midcycle refresh bringing slightly different styling, as well as adding two new models to the lineup, the S E-Hybrid and the stretched-wheelbase Executive. Having focused most of my recent trip to Germany on a First Drive of the intriguing plug-in Panamera, I also got to spend some time with the roomier Executive model.
Offered in both 4S and Turbo guise, the Panamera Executive has been stretched by almost six inches for the sole purpose of improving rear passenger space. Although it's hard to imagine anyone would willingly buy a Porsche and opt to sit in the back seat, I'd have to say that if I'm going to be chauffeured around in a car, why not make it a Porsche? For the most part, though, I'm guessing that many Panamera Executive sedans will be owned by people who want to one-up their buddy driving a stretched BMW 7 Series or Mercedes-Benz S-Class.

Watch a Cayenne Turbo S, Range Rover SVR, and Cherokee SRT drag race
Thu, Mar 17 2016We live in a weird world where high-performance SUVs could win a 60-mile-per-hour sprint against sports cars from just a few years ago. Here, Top Gear sets up a three-way drag race against the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S, Land Rover Range Rover Sport SVR, and Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT, and the results show just how quickly these high-riding models can cross the quarter mile. The Cherokee SRT is the patriotic choice among the three, but it's down on power in this fight. Meanwhile, the Range Rover's menacing growl sounds the best, and the Cayenne Turbo S has the most horsepower. You'll have to watch the video to see which SUV will win this battle. Related Video:
McLaren boss' exclusive Porsche 935 Street is worth three 911 Turbos
Wed, 21 May 2014McLarens may be exclusive, but there are still hundreds - if not thousands - of people out there who can say they own one. Mansour Ojjeh is one of them, but he doesn't just own a McLaren - he owns McLaren. As in, the company that makes the racing and exotic supercars. Or 25 percent of it, anyway. As the head of Techniques d'Avant Garde, Ojjeh is one of the British outfit's largest shareholders, previously having owned Heuer watches (before selling it to luxury giant LVMH) and engineered Porsche's most successful foray into Formula One - winning the world drivers' championship three times in a row and the constructors' title twice with Alain Prost and Niki Lauda behind the wheel of McLarens with Porsche engines developed and branded by TAG.
In short, he probably could get any McLaren he wanted at the drop of a hat, but also had strong ties to Porsche in the 80s, and this is the car he wanted. It's called the Porsche 935 Street, and it's the only one ever made. Inspired by the 935 racer that won Le Mans and over 120 other races, Ojjeh contracted Porsche Exclusive when it was still in its infancy to make him one for the road. So they took a 930 bodyshell, slotted in the 3.3-liter turbo flat-six from the 934 but cranked output up to 375 horsepower, and gave it the brakes, suspension, BBS wheels and wide-body aero from the 935 racer. They painted it a deep metallic red and trimmed the interior with cream leather and wood veneer.
When all was said and done, a total of 550 modifications were performed, detailed on a seventeen-page invoice and costing as much as three new 911 Turbos at the time. Ojjeh only put 12,000 miles on the odometer, running up and down the French Riviera, and has now put it up for sale at the upcoming Bonhams auction at Spa where it's tipped to fetch upwards of 300,000 euros - equivalent to $410k at today's rates, or, once again, the price of about three new 911 Turbos.
