1977 Porsche 911S with 3.2 L Carrera Motor professionally installed. This is a great little driver and well cared for and stored indoors. Very rare color combination with yellow on black and I was told this was originally a california car and spent most of its life there but I did not confirm. Has a great sound and should with the expensive exhaust. I hate to sell it and have realized recently as I have sold a couple of items from my collection that what I call my habit (collecting older cars) my wife is proving is more of an addiction. It seems like now that I have decided to part with a couple I have spent more time driving them and just sitting behind the wheel. This is the newest car I have and need to make room for an old 60's 911S I have been working on for years that is coming available. I reluctantly agreed if I move any cars in I need to move one out. I think a better solution would be to buy more lifts to double up my space but lost that battle.
The paint is in great shape and most little chips were immediately touched up. There are no major dents/scratches. The worst is the irritating tiny impressions on the deck lid over the engine area where people are not careful pushing down and latching it. Most dont notice unless I point it out. Drives tight and does not rattle/shake on bumps/manholes etc. Leather is great. Headliner is great (missing visors). Tires are in great shape and has expensive upgraded tires/wheels like new. It is really a blast to drive and surely turns heads. If you have not priced converting the engine/tranny it is nearly $15k with labor so all the expensive work has been done. If a couple of the knick knack things bug you lets work it out and get them fixed if needed before purchase.
I recently had it in to a Porsche specialty shop for inspection and oil change/filter change. I had him do a leak down and compression test and passed with flying colors with all cylinders under 5% so motor is great shape. For a 36 year old car it is in great shape. It does have a few little knick knacks that need fixing if you want it perfect. For example the cable to gas door broke and I use a cable with a loop on end (needs knob w/cable $10-$20 on ebay.) The worst thing to me is the speedo/tach guages are not working (mileage is stuck between 120-130 so I put 130k. The shift linkage could be gone through but shifts fine, just not tight. Lights all work. It seems the color of yellow is the more popular color. I know there are things I forgot to include so please feel free to call 8OI647IOI2 with any questions or additional pics needed. I will also try to post a youtube video of the car running/driving...dont think they allow links so may copy/paste it in youtube to watch (Im not too tech savvy).
If you need a shipping quote, I happen to work in the freight business. And although my company does not do auto transport, I do have connections to some good transport companies and brokers and can get you quotes and will be very helpful to load (take pics of vehicle loading etc.) and make sure that goes smoothly. Will be happy to ship internationally also and have title in hand etc. so should be smooth. A general guestimate would be $500 to west coast, $800 give or take to midwest, and $1100 or so to East. Couple thousand or more to some countries but would need specifics to get more accurate. If you would like to have car inspected or inspect yourself I'll help in any way I can. I do have the car listed locally for sale or trade for something interesting and have had some decent offers. I reserve the right to end auction early if the right local offer/trade presents itself. Car is sold as is and because of its age can not offer warranty.
I will be involved with scout camp during the week of the 16th-20th with limited phone service . I have the title in hand with no liens and clean and clear title. I know there will be several questions to answer so please feel free to contact me with any questions at 8OI647IOI2. If your feedback is less than ten positive please do speak with me. I have sold a couple other cars this year worth many more times this one and have had very good luck with great buyers but in the past I have had issues with those not willing to follow through so please bid with confidence as I have made every opportunity available. Thank you.

Evidently the previous buyer did not have his financials in order and I do not want to wait for him. Also for those not familiar with the "Make Offer" button on a buy it now auction, when you click make offer be prepared to make deposit and complete the purchase. If the offer is accepted it is just the same as clicking buy it now and it will end the auction "if accepted." I mentioned I will be in the mountains with limited phone (and hardly any email except on tuesday when we drive to civilization for the day) during this week but will have my wife check emails etc. If any extra pics needed or to see in person or come drive etc. I have my brothers that live nearby and my wife can make arrangements to help on anything you need so please email/call etc. and we will get your questions answered etc. Bid with confidence as this is a great car. Thank you again.

If you recently ordered a Porsche Cayenne or a Panamera, delivery may take a little longer than originally expected. Automotive News reports that production of both models has been temporarily halted at the Porsche assembly plant in Leipzig, Germany as the result of supply shortages caused by flooding in the nearby Czech Republic. The reason for the stoppage is that the body of the Cayenne - currently Porsche's best-selling model - is produced at a Volkswagen plant in the Czech city of Bratislava and shipped by train to Leipzig.
The report does not indicate why Panamera production has been stopped - that the five-door's body is made at a separate location in Hanover, Germany. However pre-assembly will continue on these models. At full capacity, the Leipzig plant can produce about 450 vehicles per day, and it isn't clear how long this weather-related stoppage will last.

At first glance, the prototype in the gallery above looks like a blacked-out version of the new Porsche Panamera Turbo. But this is actually Bentley's tester for the next-gen Flying Spur. And since the upcoming Flying Spur, among other Bentley vehicles, will utilize the same MSB platform as the new Porsche, seeing the British automaker using a Panamera makes a lot of sense. The Flying Spur is essentially a four-door version of the Continental GT, which has design cues from the EXP 10 Speed 6 concept unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. It's safe to assume that the next-gen Flying Spur will get the same treatment as well. Other than the fender flares, the prototype is identical to the Panamera Turbo. So how do we know that this is Bentley's prototype? According to our photographers, the prototype's license plate is registered as a Bentley with the UK's Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency. With the Flying Spur sharing the same platform as the Panamera, we expect the luxury sedan to get the same choice of engines, including the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 and 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine. A concept is anticipated to come out in 2017 with a production variant coming a year later. Manufacture of the next-generation Porsche Panamera could be moving, if a report from Reuters is true. The current-generation Panamera range has its bodies welded together and painted at a Volkswagen facility in Hanover before being shipped to Leipzig where final assembly takes place.
According to Reuters, Porsche is looking to cut VW out of the equation and focus production of the Panamera in Leipzig. While this could cost 800 of the 14,300 workers at Hanover their jobs, it's not entirely clear what Porsche stands to gain by the move. It recently invested 50- million euros (about $680 million at today's rates) on a paint and body shop for its Leipzig factory, ostensibly so the facility could have Macan production underway by that car's spring 2014 on-sale date. If the facility was also designed with next-generation Panamera production in mind, then Porsche's decision to put all of its eggs in one basket could make a lot of sense. It currently ships the semi-completed Panameras from Hanover to Leipzig, a distance of around 160 miles by road, and presumably it's a costly and time-consuming process.
The Leipzig factory produced 27,000 Panameras last year, although it's unclear just what its production capacity really is. Besides the Panamera and the upcoming Macan, the factory also builds the Porsche Cayenne.
