The best color combination for a 911 - Lava Orange, with black leather interior. Car has never been tracked or wrecked. Has been well maintained. This is the last model year of the naturally aspirated 3.8 liter engine, matted to a manual 7 speed transmission...producing 430 hp. Additional features of the vehicle include: PASM Sport Suspension, Premium Package Plus, Aerokit Cup, Park Assist (front and rear), with reversing camera, Electric Slide/Tilt Sunroof, Power Steering Plus, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, Clear Glass Tail Lights, Power Sports Seats (14 way) with Memory, Heated and Air-cooled Seats, Ornamental Porsche Crest, Multi-Function Steering Wheel, Alacantra Roof Lining, Porsche Floor Mats. Further, the 911 has both SunTek and Expel clear film protectant applied to the entire front bumper/spoiler, hood, both front quarter panels, A-pillars, front of car roof, and also the entire bottom portion of length of car (from front nose to rear), along with rocker panels. (This was a $2k add-on...but well worth it!). This car is in
absolutely excellent condition inside and out, and the interior still smells new.

The 2014 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S brings 50 extra ponies to Detroit
Mon, 14 Jan 2013Porsche has announced a new version of its popular SUV today at the Detroit Auto Show: the 550-horsepower 2014 Cayenne Turbo S.
This newly minted "flagship" of the Cayenne lineup is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.8-liter V8 engine, and offers 50 hp more than the Cayenne Turbo. Performance figures are impressive for the sleek utility vehicle: 0-60 miles per hour can be dashed off in 4.3 seconds, while maximum speed is rated at 175 mph. The Turbo S also gets dynamic chassis control, torque vectoring and Porsche's Sport Chrono package - all standard equipment.
Visually the Cayenne Turbo S differentiates itself from the lesser models in pretty subtle ways. Gloss black trim decorates the gawping front air intakes, as well as rear-view mirror trim panel. The SUV also wears 21-inch Turbo II wheels, a la the 911 Turbo.
Drive-up bank robbery perpetrated with Cayenne and WRX
Sat, 14 Sep 2013Thieves carried out what appears to be a movie-script-perfect robbery of a bank in Sydney, Australia early on Friday morning, using two stolen high-performance vehicles in the process.
At around 11:15 AM local time, in near mid-day light, reports say that two men in masks smashed into the side of a Westpac bank in a confirmed-stolen black Porsche Cayenne. The perpetrators were armed with sledgehammers according to witness reports, and took only about five minutes to take what they were after inside of the bank.
The rapid getaway was executed in a Subaru WRX, also confirmed as a stolen vehicle, while witnesses snapped camera phone images of the illicit goings on. One Twitter user posted a few of the images to his social media feed; you can take a look at them in our small gallery below. Follow on down for the full video report, from The Sydney Morning Herald.
Porsche testing new 911 GTS
Wed, 28 May 2014Porsche may have one more vehicle in its stable with the GTS moniker, if these spy shots are any indication. They show off the presumed 911 GTS lapping the track - the model meant to slide in under the GT3 to be a bit more driver-friendly but still very fast alternative to a stock Carrera.
At first glance, it might look like any other 911, but the devil is in the details. The most obvious among the differences are two centrally mounted exhaust outlets, rather than the ones closer to the corners on most of the current models. They also aren't perfectly in the center like the GT3. The taillights are also somewhat thicker than the current ones, and the rear decklid is split into three exposed sections.
This is the third time we've seen the presumed GTS. The first was as a coupe late last year. Then it showed up again in March testing in convertible form. Although, that version also sported fender vents at the rear.
