I can describe more than the Pictures but they tell the story. This is an awesome Porsche. If you are
looking for the real deal WITH STRIPES, then this is it. The Console was also custom painted to match the
Stripes.
But this doesn't just look fantastic, it is 408 HP of pure driving enjoyment, with both Sport and Sport Plus tunes
at your command, this beast will take you to places where only the police will go with you.
Below is excerpt from a great article about the 2011 GTS.
THE PORSCHE IS IN BOCA RATON FLORIDA, AND THE BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE TO PICK IT UP OR SEND A SERVICE TO PICK IT UP.
ALL MAINTENANCE HAS BEEN DONE AT CHAMPION PORSCHE OR A ANNAPOLIS PORSCHE. ALL SERVICE IS UP TO DATE, THE VEHICLE
NEEDS NOTHING THAT I KNOW OF. I JUST REPLACED THE REAR TIRES WITH MICHELIN PS2s. and the rear end was aligned.
If you are serious about buying it call me directly at my number above.
Displaying all its evolutionary DNA, it is clear what the Carrera GTS is. Based on the widebody seen in everything
from the Turbo to the Carrera 4S to the GT3RS,it is all hips and chest, too. With Turbo-style intakes on the front
fascia and creative use of the black (negative) space, it is a muscular look that has somehow managed to improve
through the years. High and low beam lamps peek out from the monocle lenses in the pontoon-style front fenders.
Aero-cut rear view side mirrors blend into the windshield's A-pillar and point rearward to the fenders flared over
the pair of meats tucked inside.
Not to be outshone, the caboose of the GTS carries on in its own by way of an auto-activated and retractable tail
spoiler. RS Spyder center-lock hubs and wheels give a total performance look to the package, which is decidedly
show, as well as go. The canvas drop top is nice and tidily stowed under the hard-shell rear deck. When in its
closed position, it actually looks as though it is organically part of the design.

Porsche offers design walkthrough of Panamera Sport Turismo
Thu, 03 Jan 2013The Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo was arguably the best concept car of 2012, and Porsche has been building upon that momentum by teasing us with videos of its first-ever station wagon design. After showing us some driving shots of the Sport Turismo, Porsche released a more in-depth and behind-the-scenes look at what it took to take the Panamera shooting brake from a full-scale clay model to the final product we saw on stage at the Paris Motor Show. In the video, Michael Mauer, Porsche style director, and Mitja Borkert, general manager advanced design style, both give a little insight about what went into creating the Sport Turismo Concept.
More than just a station wagon version of the Panamera, the Sport Turismo has a totally distinctive look nose to tail. Some of the key elements the designers touch on in the video include the Porsche-signature raised front fenders, the wide rear shoulders, the front wing inspired by the 918 Spyder, and even some of the car's unique touches, including the headlights and the three-dimensional "Porsche" lettering across the liftgate made from glass. One of the more exciting aspects of the concept - which is sadly just glossed over in the video - is the rear liftgate spoiler that features "variable aerodynamics" that sounds like it acts similar to the retractable spoiler on the current Panamera.
We still don't know if the Panamera Sport Turismo will make it into production, but if you want to see what went into creating this exciting concept car and see the different build phases designers went through to create the Paris show car, check out the video by scrolling below.
Porsche tops JD Power APEAL study for 12th time
Wed, Jul 27 2016JD Power's 2016 Automotive Performance, Execution, and Layout (APEAL) study hasn't changed much this time around with Porsche coming in at No.1 for the 12th consecutive year, while BMW was close behind in second. Jaguar and Mercedes-Benz tied for third with Land Rover, Lexus, and Lincoln tied for No.5. The APEAL Study, according to JD Power, measures owners' level of excitement and emotional attachment across 77 parameters. Brands and cars are rated on a 1,000-point scale. The study found that new cars with modern safety features including low speed collision avoidance and blind spot monitoring have higher APEAL scores than vehicles without the features. The overall industry score increased from 798 to 801, which JD Power claims was helped by the launch of a variety of new vehicles. This year, 22 out of 30 new or redesigned cars received a higher score than the vehicle's respective segment average. Porsche is once again at the top of the list as the automaker's score increased by three points to 877. BMW outscored Jaguar to take second place with a score of 859, while the British automaker dropped three points from last year with 852 points. Volkswagen overtook Mini to become the top-ranked non-premium brand with 809 points, while the latter automaker trailed behind by one point. At the end of the scale, Smart came in at the very bottom for the second year in a row with a score of 745 points, which represents an increase of 62 points over last year. Fiat's score increased by six points to 755, but still confined the automaker to second-to-worst place for a consecutive year. Mitsubishi's score increased to 770, up from 755, to become the fourth-worst brand, while Jeep fell to third-worst with a decrease in seven points to 756. General Motors received six segment-level awards, followed by Hyundai with five, and BMW and VW earning four apiece. Surprise segment victories include the Chevrolet Camaro, which outscored the Dodge Challenger, and the Lexus RC which ranked above the BMW 4 and 3 Series. For more information on how the automakers ranked, check out the official release on the 2016 APEAL Study below or visit JD Power's website to analyze the graphs. Driving the Panamera and Mike's Rant | Autoblog Podcast #487
Thu, Sep 8 2016This week we cover some recent news like the upcoming Land Rover Discovery, updates to FCA's large car platform (including the Challenger), and talk about water injection. Then we go into what we've been driving - David just finished his time in the Porsche Panamera Turbo and Mike tried the GMC Acadia.
