Black full leather/AT, Tiptronic S transmission, rear wiper, carbon multifunction steering wheel, park assist, sport chrono, telephone module, carbon package, black mats-Porsche lettering, Michelin tires. MSRP was $131,275.00 What I've done/added since I've owned it: Selling price includes: transferable "the Mechanic" Porsche dealer purchased and approved extended warranty (not CPO) with $100.00 deductible that's good through 4/7/17 and/or 60K miles, Porsche COA, FVD performance tune (550 hp/tq), BMC performance air filter, Fabspeed black chrome exhaust tips (OEM exhaust is stock), four (4) new Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, new TPMS sensors, OEM black GT3 RS wheels with black RS center caps, 4-wheel alignment, Forge metal diverter valves, OEM matching pedal footrest, OEM fire extinguisher and bracket located beneath the drivers seat, replaced the PCM 2.1 with a Pioneer AVIC 140BH sound system (OEM Bose speakers retained) that includes; 7" color touch screen, real time GPS navigation with traffic, Bluetooth (Android and iPhone compatible), MP3, DVD, single CD, Sirius/XM satellite radio (hidden antenna), hands-free voice commands, AM/FM/HD radio, steering wheel radio volume and channel controls, back-up camera, selectable (on/off) front parking sensors, black "turbo" emblem script, new Iridium spark plugs, and recent tune-up. I use Motul 8100 X-Cess 5W40 synthetic oil, changed the brake fluid to blue high heat and performance, added 20% window tint, OEM wheel locks, clear bra on all exposed surfaces, VIN etching on all windows, new wiper blades, and I've had the car professional detailed. I've owned this TT for over two years, it's never been tracked, seen rain/snow (located in Northern VA) or smoked in. It comes with two (2) keys, a full set of owners manuals and case, a clean Carfax, a copy of my original PPI report, and all service records since I've own it. Everything works, all of my modifications and maintenance was either dealer or professionally performed, it's garage covered and in absolutely like-new condition. The black paint is extremely dark and reflective, there has been no paint work, there are no dings or wax swirls, the interior is near-perfect (realistically it's 7 years old so it can't be perfect) without any blemishes or seat wear and tear. It does not use oil and there are no leaks. The only maintenance issues I've had was a battery replacement two (2) years ago and a leaking transmission seal last year that was repaired under warranty that also included replacing all of the transmission fluid (not required but I wanted it done anyway). Except for the FVD tune this car is stock and can easily be brought back to original condition. This 2007 TT is adult owned by a PCA member and Porsche enthusiast who is retiring soon. Please, serious inquiries only, no test drives unless you're buying it, and you pay for the PPI and the shipping. This Porsche has the much desired Mezger GT1 engine, it's been updated to today's 991 standards for a fraction of the cost, there are no excuses, and you will not be disappointed. Select the "buy it now" option and you will also receive the original four (4) OEM wheels with OEM silver center caps, the OEM PCM 2.1 navigation system with phone module, 2 OEM chrome exhaust tips and the OEM air filter and plastic diverter valves. I know what my car is worth and should reasonably sell for so please no "dreamers or low-ball offers" This is a pristine 2007 Porsche 911 Twin Turbo in excellent condition and it's also the best Porsche 997.1 TT deal on eBay right now. . |

Porsche patent sketches show removable headrest wind deflector
Mon, 21 Oct 2013While driving around in a convertible might seem glamorous, ask anyone with long hair and they'll likely tell you how it really is: the wind buffets, your hair goes everywhere and it's anything but glamorous. That's why you see so many convertibles driving with their tops up, their windows up or wind deflectors in place. But Porsche is apparently preparing to kick it up to the next level.
These patent drawings have leaked out, demonstrating what appears to be some new kind of wind-deflecting device being developed by Porsche. The mechanism is apparently fitted to the headrest itself and designed to keep the wind buffeting specifically around the head down to a minimum while allowing the car's occupants to enjoy the top-down driving experience.
No word on when it might hit the market, but we won't be surprised to see this kind of device appear on a future version of the Boxster or 911 Cabriolet. But nowhere else: despite the apparent leak, the patent drawings suggest that Porsche will be keeping this technology proprietary. Whether sister brands like Volkswagen, Bentley or Lamborghini will get their hands on it remains to be seen.
Meet Buster, this 1968 Porsche racecar transporter from Mercedes
Thu, Dec 11 2014If you're thinking about Porsche and Mercedes-Benz when it comes to motorsports, your first thought is probably on the two German brands battling on the track. However, for decades, whenever Porsche's factory team went to compete, a custom Mercedes was right along with them hauling the racecars. These days the truck lives in the Brumos Collection in Jacksonville, FL, and goes by the nickname Buster. However, its story goes back to 1968 when Porsche ordered two commercial vehicles from Mercedes and then handed them over to a Stuttgart-based outfitter for customization. The results were these racing transporters that hauled models like the 917 and 956 until the '80s. The other survived, too, with a place in Porsche's collection. Well-known racers in their own right, Brumos scooped up the transporter in 2003 and have kept driving it to vintage racing events. The interior now boasts the signatures of many of the great drivers from the era of this historic truck. Watch the video for the whole story on the Mercedes with a whole lot of Porsche inside.
Translogic 166: Porsche 918 Spyder
Mon, Dec 15 2014In the same month that Porsche announced that its 918 Spyder is sold out, Translogic is getting its first (and likely last) shot at the plug-in hybrid hypercar. Our drive starts off in a very civilized fashion as we tour the 918 Spyder's e-power and hybrid modes, but the fun really starts when the naturally aspirated 4.6-liter V8 engine roars to life in sport and race hybrid modes, augmenting the electric motors with an additional 608 horsepower for a total of 887. We even attempt an impromptu 0-60 test to see if we can match Porsche's gobsmacking official time of 2.5 seconds, but sadly we don't have the room to make a run on its 214-mph top speed. Watch as Translogic host Jonathon Buckley pilots this Porsche around an airstrip in Irvine, CA, with a focus on the many driving modes that set the 918 Spyder apart from anything else in the storied automaker's history.
