2003 Porsche 911/966 Turbo Coupe

Excellent condition... Interior/Exterior

2003 Porsche 911 Turbo continues a performance legend begun when the first 911 Turbo was introduced to North America in 1976. With a 415-horsepower (SAE) twin-turbo engine and advanced all-wheel drive, this 2003 911 Turbo takes its place in the top echelon of the supercar category.

Derived from the Porsche GT1 racecar, the 3.6-liter, horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine sustains 415 lb.-ft. of peak torque from 2,700-4,600 rpm.

Trans- standard 6-speed manual transmission.

This 911 Turbo can accelerate from 0-62 mph (0-100 kph) in just 4.2 seconds. top speed of 189 mph (305 km/h). I only had the balls to take it about 168mph.  Once

Enhancement performance programing package increases the twin-turbo engine’s output to 444 horsepower (SAE) and 457 lb.-ft of torque. Cost $2,600.00

Porsche Stability Management system (PSM) can detect a loss of grip at the front or rear and reduce instability by applying braking to individual wheels and, if necessary, altering engine power.

The upper part of the two-piece rear stabilizer wing automatically rises at speeds above 75 mph (120 kph) and lowers at speeds below 50 mph (80 km/h). But I have it fixed in the up position.......

aluminum RENNWORX BLACKED OUT-spoke alloy wheels measure 19 x 8 inches in front and mount HANCOCK VENTUE V2 EVO 225/40 ZR19 tires;  19x 11-inch rear wheels mount HANCOCK VENTURE V12 EVO 305/30 ZR19 tires. ALSO HAVE THE OEM  17" SET OF TIRES AND RIMS.

Standard Bi-Xenon headlight clusters feature xenon high-intensity discharge headlights for both the low and high beams.

Tinted windows Black on Black.

I'm the 3rd owner.

Porsche gives Nick Murray exactly what he deserved [w/video]

Sat, 19 Apr 2014

The tale of Nick Murray and his lemon Porsche 911 appears to have come to a satisfactory end. As noted in the original story about Murray, he and Porsche Cars North America met and came to a resolution. However, we didn't know exactly what that meant, until now.
Murray has created a new video explaining that PCNA offered to buy back the car at full price or give him an exact replacement for it. This was exactly what he was asking for. Murray remains pro-Porsche in the new video. "I am definitely considering reordering a Porsche 911," he says.
Porsche also posted a message on its Facebook page that clarified the situation. "We at Porsche have always sought excellence in all that we do. We know you expect it of us. And when we don't meet that standard, we make every effort to improve," said a portion of the note.

Top Gear's latest trailer shows off a golden Bugatti Chiron

Thu, Feb 23 2017

Top Gear is returning on March 5, and after a lackluster first series with the new hosts, the new group seems determined not to hit a sophomore slump. Chris Evans is gone, and the latest teaser trailer shows the new trio of Matt LeBlanc, Chris Harris, and Rory Reid strapped into some pretty fantastic cars, including the Bugatti Chiron and the Ford GT. All of the typical Top Gear segments appear to be present, though the quick cuts don't give us many details. The trailer shows a copious amount of powerslides from an assortment of cars, and even Chris Harris racing around Daytona. Aside from the Bugatti and Ford, cars from Porsche, Lamborghini, Ferrari, BMW, Aston Martin, and Alfa Romeo are all present. Co-hosts Eddie Jordan and Sabine Schmitz don't appear at all, so it seems their roles may be downplayed to focus on three guys, as was the case pre-reboot. We have some hope for this re-relaunched show and will be keeping an eye out for more details in the lead-up to the series premiere. Porsche Panamera gets new diesel in time for Frankfurt

Tue, 03 Sep 2013

Diesel may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Porsche, but in the European market - that vital one which Porsche calls home - diesels are indispensable. Particularly when you're trying to extend beyond niche sports cars and into the mainstream luxury sedan market as Zuffenhausen has with the Panamera. In fact, diesels account for 15 percent of Panamera sales worldwide (even though they're not offered Stateside), so to keep oil-burning customers happy, Porsche has announced a series of upgrades.
Set to be unveiled in the flesh at the fast-approaching Frankfurt Motor Show, the new Panamera Diesel packs 300 horsepower. That's 50 hp (or 20 percent) more than the model it replaces, significantly dropping the 0-62 sprint from 6.8 seconds to 6 flat, and raising top speed from 152 miles per Autobahn-crunching hour to 161. While they were at it, Porsche's engineers also fitted the rear differential with torque vectoring (previously reserved for gasoline-burning models) and retuned the transmission and suspension.
You can delve into the press release below for all the details - including the new model's improved towing capacity! - but the reality, for better or worse, is that the Panamera Diesel isn't offered here. So if you've been celebrating Labor Day (or even Labour Day, for our friends to the north) like we have, don't go looking for it at your local dealer, who will have only a Cayenne Diesel to show you instead.
