IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT THIIS CHECK IT OUT ON YOUTUBE, THIS IS THE BEST EXHAUST SYSTEM YOU CAN GET AND THIS VEHICLE SOUNDS INCREDIBLE!!! I HAVE A 2001 996 COUPE AND IT DOES NOT HAVE ANYWERE NEAR THE PERFORMANCE/POWER THAT THE CABRIOLET HAS DUE TO THE FABSPEED UPGRADE. THIS WAS OVER 5,000$$ INVESTED!!

YOU CAN READ A BOOK FROM THE REFLECTION IN THE PAINT. THE VEHICLE IS PROFESSIONALLY DETAILED EACH SPRING ( CLAYED TO REMOVE IMPURITIES AND BUFFED TO RICH LUSTER)
The drivers side seat has some wear on the left side from entering exiting the vehicle. i have had an estimate from an upholstery shop that performed work on my other vehicle and it can be fixed for 375.00$
The keyless entry does not operate any longer. I dropped it in a sink full of water and it has stopped working. The key operates the locks and alarm system so I did not replace it as I did not find it to be necessary when driving the vehicle.
It has come to my attention that the ebay autocheck report denotes an anouncement at an auto auction as " frame damage" as noted on ebay http://www.ebay.com/gds/Frame-damage-uniframe-or-unibody-damage-autocheck/10000000018463312/g.html
Assuming a car has been frame damaged because of an announcement at an auction is a mistake. Especially if it is a lease return. Lease companies and banks sell their lease returns at the major auto auction houses like Manheim. They do not want the dealer who buys a car to have recourse to return a vehicle that they think may have had some damage.
Often a bumper cover will have minor damage and it is announced as frame unibody damage. Even though there is no history on either Carfax or Autocheck of an accident. When you look at the car history if there is no accident history reported then the auction announcement is likely nothing more than a banker preventing a buyer from having recourse against the bank.
To assume the worst in these cases is a mistake. Professional buyers and dealers know that bankers are often wrong about this issue and buy these announced cars knowing they may get a better price. Smart buyers will have the car looked at before they buy and also get a better deal.
THE VEHICLE IS OPEN TO INSPECTION. IT IS 100% CORRECT AND CAN BE VIEWED/TESTED/INSPECTED BY ANY GARAGE/PROFESSIONAL OF CHOICE.
PLEASE CONTACT ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS.

Porsche wins the 2015 24 Hours of Le Mans
Sun, Jun 14 2015The question going into this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans was whether or not the Porsche 919 Hybrid would be able to combine its qualifying pace with race reliability. After battling neck-and-neck with Audi's R18 for most of the race, the answer is a resounding yes. Not only did Porsche drivers climb the first two spots on the podium, they did so without any major mishaps on track. This win is the first overall trophy for Porsche since 1998. Audi previously won the last five races, and 13 of the last 15. Corvette also returned to the winner's circle, with the No. 64 C7.R taking winning the GTE Pro division. The victory is the first class win for Corvette since 2011. KCMG won the LMP2 class in ninth overall. With 45 minutes to go the No. 98 Aston Martin crashed out of first place in GTE Amateur, giving the class win to SMP Racing's Ferrari and second place to the Patrick Dempsey Racing Porsche 911 RSR. For the full list of official results, click here. The GTE Pro class proved to be just as exciting as the P1 class, with a four-way battle for first after four hours into the race. For most of the race, the battle at the top went back and forth between the two German manufacturers. An tire puncture in the No. 7 Audi gave up the lead to Porsche, and moments later a crash forced the No. 8 into the garage. But a three-minute replacement of the front and rear bodywork kept the Audi in contention. As the race wore into the night, Porsche maintained a slightly faster pace than Audi. Nick Tandy took the lead on Lap 253 early Sunday morning, and car No. 19 never gave up the top position. The win is the first for all three drivers of the No. 19 – Nico Hulkenberg, Earl Bamber, and Nick Tandy. A lap behind in second was the No. 17 Porsche. The Audis fought reliability problems late in the race but still finished third with the No. 7 R18. The GTE Pro class proved to be just as exciting as the P1 class, with a four-way battle for first after four hours into the race. As the Aston Martin cars dropped away, the lone Corvette Racing entry took over, followed by a charging AF Corse team Ferrari 458 Italia. The Corvette and Ferrari continued to trade places in the final hours until gearbox trouble forced the No. 51 Ferrari out of contention. It was eventually passed by the other AF Corse car, No. 71. Nissan experienced all the pain of a first-year effort with its front-wheel-drive GT-R LM Nismo.
1949 Gm?nd Porsche shows the birth of an icon
Fri, 21 Mar 2014The Austrian village of Gmünd is more than just difficult to pronounce; it's also the birthplace of the Porsche brand. Before the company ever started building sports cars at its current home base near Stuttgart, the fledgling business completed several vehicles in the tiny town in Southern Austria. In this video, former Pikes Peak International Hill Climb champion Jeff Zwart takes a look at a 1949 Gmünd coupe to see how the company has evolved since its earliest days.
The thing to note about the Gmünd-built Porsches is their absolute design simplicity. The phrase "form follows function" gets bandied around a lot, but it really means something when you look at these early cars. However, the minimalism was partially out of necessity. The vehicles were meant to be sporty but certainly weren't rockets. Power came courtesy of a modified Volkswagen Beetle engine, and anything extraneous would have slowed the models down. Scroll down to watch Zwart go back in time to Porsche's beginnings.
Porsche reportedly working on new turbocharged flat-four boxer engine?
Wed, 10 Apr 2013These days, we've seen just about every automaker dropping cylinders in an effort to appease tightening fuel economy and emission standards - and Porsche is no exception. Nearly three years after introducing an all-new V6 powerplant under the front hood of its Panamera sedan (launched with a range of V8 engines) comes word that Porsche is working on an all-new turbocharged flat-four boxer to replace the flat-six engines mid-mounted in its Cayman and Boxster models.
Specifics have yet to be learned, but reports say the engine is a derivative of the current 3.8-liter six (shown above) found under the rear decklid of the Carrera S, yet with two fewer cylinders. Fitted with a turbocharger, direct-injection and the automaker's VarioCam Plus, the new all-aluminum 2.5-liter flat-four will likely develop upwards of 350 horsepower and 360 pound-feet of torque. Redline should be about 7,500 rpm. Initial indications say that Porsche will only offer the new engine with its seven-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic, tuned to take advantage of the low-end torque, but a traditional six-speed manual gearbox has not been ruled out. Despite the loss of two cylinders, enthusiasts will likely embrace the new engine as it promises to be lighter, more fuel efficient and more powerful than the 2.7-liter and 3.4-liter sixes in the Cayman/Boxster today.
Even though Porsche has been using Volkswagen Group engines for years (e.g., Cayenne V6, Cayenne Diesel and upcoming Macan), all indications are that the new flat-four will not be shared. Instead, it will be kept in-house for the automaker's sports cars and possible future fitment in an entry-level 911.
