We bought this car about 2 years ago from some friends/neighbors. They bought it from the local Lexus dealer. The car had 37,000 miles on it when we bought it and it now has less than 45,000 miles on it. It was my wife's daily driver but her office is just a short distance from the house. We now have two grandkids and we have purchaed a new sedan to accomodate car seats so we reluctantly sell it.
Everything works on it except the key fob, and I will try to install a new battery in the fob before pick-up. It has been very reliable with the only repair being a switch in the power top mechanism. We also put new brakes on it and a new set of tires.
It looks fantastic. There are a couple of small rock chips on the front bumper and a small scratch over the left rear wheel about 3/8" long. The interior is good. Someone put a wood trim kit on it and the piece below the windshield deteriorated and is gone. You can buy a whole kit for the car for $169 in ebay and choose the finish.
I drove it from the Bay area last weekend and it runs flawlessly. We stopped for gas and lunch along the way and got admiring comments at each stop.
As you can see, the car has a hardtop also.
This is a great car and can be easily used as a daily driver or weekend car.

Porsche prioritizes 200,000-unit sales target over exclusivity [w/poll]
Thu, 21 Aug 2014Would a Porsche still be a Porsche if it weren't as exclusive? That's the question which industry pundits are asking - and customers may soon as well - as the German automaker emerges from the fringe in pursuit of larger volumes.
A dozen years ago Porsche was barely selling over 50,000 units per annum. In a sales surge that has gathered pace as fast as a 911 Turbo, however, it was already hovering around the 100,000-unit mark a few years later. Last year it sold over 160,000, and has targeted 200,000 units by 2018. But it may not even take that long.
Automotive News reports that Porsche has advanced its targets to reach for 200,000 units by the end of this year or the next. The bump in sales would be driven particularly by the introduction of the new Macan, of which it aims to sell 50,000 units annually, starting next year. The Cayenne currently stands far and away as its most successful model. The 911 and Panamera have swapped second place a few times over the past five years, followed by the Boxster and Cayman.
Porsche expects to hit 200k sales target 3 years early
Fri, Jan 9 2015When Porsche launched the Cayenne, enthusiasts and purists – in between fits of rage – rationalized the SUVs existence by imagining that the money it brought in would guarantee the company's continued ability to produce the many beloved versions of its 911. The same was said when the Panamera arrived, and again when the Macan was unveiled. What probably wasn't imagined when these three more mainstream vehicles joined the Porsche catalog, was how dramatic an impact they'd have on the company's sales figures. The company expects 2015 to be a banner year, as it aims to hit a 200,000-unit sales goal three years ahead of schedule. Porsche sold nearly 190,000 units in 2014, a gain of 17 percent over 2013, while its year-over-year sales for December were up 39 percent. Considering Porsche made these gains before the full impact of the new Macan could be felt, it's no wonder the company is so keen on 2015. Porsche has already moved 45,000 Macans, which would be impressive on its own, were it not for the way the CUV is elevating the brand. According to a report from Reuters, two-thirds of the company's Macan deliveries have been to first-time Porsche customers. Considering these two facts, it will be extremely interesting to see the impact Porsche's newest model has on its sales over a full calendar year.
