I'm selling this vehicle for a friend of mine who purchased it back in April/May timeframe. I helped advise the owner on the purchase so know the vehicle fairly well. Owner is now selling unfortunately because of major health issues. The paint is original. there is no rust on the vehicle. There are a couple of areas where there was some touch up done. Primarily on the wheel well area behind the drivers front door and by the handle of the drivers front door. Both a body shop and two porsche mechanics looked at it and said it was minor. There may be a couple of small dings but very minor. The vehicle was not in an accident per the previous owner and the car fax also states it was not in an accident. I have a handful of receipts including the original owner omanuals as well as the original window sticker from Jess Jones Porsche of West New York, NJ. Interior is in great shape and original. No tears. Approx. 1/2 in small crack in dash on the passenger side. Headliner is all there but detaching slightly by the sunroof area.
Mechanically the porsche runs smooth and shifts well. The following is a listing of work that a certified porsche mechanic had done to the vehicle to ensure it is buttoned up/caught up on all necessary maintenance and mechanical upkeep. *New sway bar mounts, *Sway bar bushings, *Valve cover set, *Spark plugs, *Air filter, *Oil cooler line, *Cam feed oil line, *Hood struts, *Front strut hardware, *Front break rotor, *Front pad set, *Front pad sensors, *W-brng seal, *Hub o-ring, *Inner wheel bearing, *Outer wheel bearing, *Rear break rotor, *Rear pad set, *Rear pad sensors, *Axle boot set Wheels are original and in very good shape and tires also are about 6 months old. All in all the owner spent about $5,000 to update the mechanics to ensure it is a daily driver and dependable. He unfortunately will take a loss on the sale but can sell knowing that the vehicle is up to snuff for driving for a number of years without issues. Lastly the ac I believe works but may need a freon fill. The reserve is set at a very reasonable number -- way below its value in order to sell. It's a solid 911 with options that you don't see often. I've been as transparent as I can in the description. Vehicle is sold as is from a private seller. Porsche spotted testing next-gen Panamera in the snow
Thu, Jan 22 2015It's winter testing season in northern Sweden, and the latest spy shots our paparazzi on the ground have brought us is the upcoming Porsche Panamera testing in the cold and snow. The upcoming new four-door Porsche, spied wearing only minimal camouflage, appears to have a more elegant and sloping roofline than the existing model. Other details like the lights, mirrors and grille openings look fairly consistent with what we've been seeing on Porsche's other models as they've trickled out. Based on the new MSB platform, the new Panamera is set to share its underpinnings with the next Bentley Continental and possibly an Audi variant as well – though the prospect of a Lamborghini version to follow the Estoque concept seems to be off the table. The new platform will, however, make the new Panamera lighter than the current model. A new range of V6 and V8 engines are expected to provide motivation, driving the rear wheels or all four, along with the available e-hybrid system. Porsche's first four-door sedan was introduced in 2009 and underwent a facelift in 2013, so the all-new second-generation model should arrive sometime later this year or next as a 2017 model. This new model could provide the impetus for Porsche to put the Sport Turismo shooting brake version into production as well, and maybe – just maybe – a two-door coupe and possible convertible versions to follow in the footsteps of the 928.

Tue, Feb 10 2015We're figure the guys in Finland's Stunt Freaks Team see this video as three minutes of freewheeling snow drifting with a Triumph Daytona motorcycle on snow tires, a Porsche 911 GT3 rally car and a Polaris RMK snowmobile. We, however, like to think of it as a mini-documentary on the winter habits of bipedal Finnish mammals, who display a curious set of winter habits that fascinate us no matter how many times we see them. Admittedly, if we lived conveniently close to Rovaniemi, set smack-dab on the border of the Arctic Circle in Finland's Lapland, we'd do the same thing. The title says it all, save for there also being a side-by-side that was probably the camera car. It's missing the huge roostertails, but it's got a crash and a wheelie to make up for it. Porsche announces four flavors of updated Cayenne [w/video]
Thu, 24 Jul 2014The new Macan may be getting all the attention lately, but Porsche hasn't forgotten about its larger crossover - the one that put it on the map in 2002 and on the road to profitability, with over half a million sold so far. So to keep the Cayenne at the top of its game, Porsche has announced several key upgrades for the 2015 model.
For starters, Porsche has updated the Cayenne's appearance with new front- and rear-end styling. The front bumper, fenders and hood are entirely new, with air fins flanking the nose to direct air into the intercoolers (each model now being artificially aspirated), and new bi-xenon headlamps and daytime running LEDs on every model but the Turbo, which goes all-LED. Around back there's also new taillights, tailgate handle, lower rear fascia and exhaust pipes. Meanwhile the interior has been upgraded with a 918-derived sport steering wheel and reformed rear seats with available ventilation.
The bigger news is under the engine bay, where Porsche is offering four choices. The base model is gone as the range starts with the Cayenne Diesel, followed by the Cayenne S, the new Cayenne S E-Hybrid and the top-of-the-line Cayenne Turbo. The Diesel model carries over the same 3.0-liter turbo diesel with 240 horsepower. The Cayenne S however packs a 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6 that's similar to the one found in the Macan Turbo and packs the same 406 lb-ft of torque but more power at 420 hp, 20 more than either its little brother or the model it replaces to reach 62 mph in 5.2 seconds.
