Windermere, Florida, United States

Euro Imported 1985 Porsche 930 (No Turbo's were brought to the USA dealers during 1980-1985) to Florida and been here its entire life, I'm told only 100 were imported this year making collectability high.

I purchased this car as an investment and to drive, I am a retired business man, NOT a dealer. I own 4 Porsches and drive them all.

Some painted areas have been re-sprayed by the second owner, others original. No accidents in this cars history. Paint is nearly perfect couple of minor imperfections, 1door ding in front fender, overall incredible for its age (29 yrs)

Mechanically excellent, needs nothing. Drive it daily or keep in your collection to make money as Pelican Parts thread states: "80's 930 turbo's are already climbing and will be the next big runner" making this model an excellent investment choice AND useable fun too!

You can't/won't go wrong with this car.
Buy it and DRIVE it home, ANYWHERE, its that good!

prices for this year/mileage currently: $70k-$100k+

Don't wait...this is the one

Porsche Cayman S and Caterham 7 go head to head on the drag strip

Fri, 27 Jun 2014

We recently saw the standard Porsche Cayman go up against a Subaru WRX STI in a one-mile drag race with surprising results. Apparently, Evo had a similar idea of evaluating the Cayman's quickness. However, it opted for the more powerful S model and chose a flyweight Caterham Roadsport 140 as the challenger. Will the results of this battle be as close at the end of the kilometer-long (0.62-mile) drag?
Neither of these are cars you'd usually associate with drag racing, but they are nearly evenly matched. Evo selected them based on power-to-weight ratio, with the Caterham offering a scant 140 horsepower in a lithe 1,213-pound package. The Porsche is a quite svelte 2,910 pounds but has 325 hp to haul it around.
Of course, power-to-weight ratio isn't everything. There are a ton of other variables like aerodynamics and gearing that play a huge role, as well. Can the little Caterham's weight advantage overcome the better aero and additional power of the Porsche? Scroll down watch the video and find out.

The 2014 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S brings 50 extra ponies to Detroit

Mon, 14 Jan 2013

Porsche has announced a new version of its popular SUV today at the Detroit Auto Show: the 550-horsepower 2014 Cayenne Turbo S.
This newly minted "flagship" of the Cayenne lineup is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.8-liter V8 engine, and offers 50 hp more than the Cayenne Turbo. Performance figures are impressive for the sleek utility vehicle: 0-60 miles per hour can be dashed off in 4.3 seconds, while maximum speed is rated at 175 mph. The Turbo S also gets dynamic chassis control, torque vectoring and Porsche's Sport Chrono package - all standard equipment.
Visually the Cayenne Turbo S differentiates itself from the lesser models in pretty subtle ways. Gloss black trim decorates the gawping front air intakes, as well as rear-view mirror trim panel. The SUV also wears 21-inch Turbo II wheels, a la the 911 Turbo.

'Born of a Blue Sky' brings the Amelia Island Concours to you

Fri, 03 May 2013

The Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance has more clout every year and is getting a reputation as Pebble Beach minus the madness. Held in March this year, it celebrated Ducati and the 50-year anniversaries of Lamborghini, the Corvette Sting Ray, Porsche 911 and the Ford GT40.
Justin Lapriore was there, and seemingly everywhere, getting footage of the various wares on display on the lawns and the sand and the runway. The resulting video, Born of a Blue Sky, is a 16-minute survey of some of the finer sights and plenty of engine sounds. Check it out below.
