There have never been any mechanical issues with the car and I have numerous receipts and documents showing completely rebuilt transmission, clutch, valve covers, plugs, wires, sunroof track & mtr, etc.
The car starts up, runs and drives like new. Interior is 9.5/10 the seats, dash, door panels floor carpets are all in good condition with no stainds rips or tears
Exterior is 9.0/10 all original paint, body is straight and true, all rubber and tail are in perfect condition
Over $15,000 spent in routine maintenance and services. New oil pressure sender, every o-ring and gasket replaced for the traditional oil leaks, transmission fluid, oil changes every 2,500 miles, new wheel bearings, cross-drilled rotors, brake pads, belts, k&n air filter, wiper blades, bilstein shocks, hood shocks, rear lid shocks, perforamnce Bursch exhaust, new oil-return tubes, upgraded H3 headlights, new tires & new set of rear tires un-used. The collision reports are minor fender benders in parking lots. One with second owner in 1990 and once since we've had ownership. Both related in minor scratches and minor body work to front bumper and left bumper but were both filed so Porsche proffesionals could fix them under insurance's money. All documented work can be provided. Title issue is unrelated to mileage.

Can a Corvette really be compared to a 911 with options costing more than the Chevy?

In this latest video from Drive, Chris Harris asks straight away, "Can you still compare a base Corvette to a Porsche Carerra?" That's an particularly interesting question in this film, as the 911 in question is a 400-horsepower Carrera S model that's been fitted with $60,000 in options. Base price of a Corvette Stingray? $51,995. Harris' tester features an automatic and some other goodies that push it right up to that $60,000 range. So yes, the options on the Porsche cost as much as this entire 460-hp Chevrolet.
Harris stresses that this isn't a full review, but he does exercise both cars in a more composed manner before reverting to his traditionally exuberant driving style. The impressions are, as always, spot on, with Harris favoring the pointy nature and V8 power of the Stingray, while enjoying the gearbox (Porsche's exceptional PDK transmission) and just about everything else on the 911.

Ward's Automotive Ten Best Engines of 2014 dominated by diesels, turbos

With the Car and Driver Ten Best decided, the North American Car and Truck of the Year finalists announced and Cadillac, Ram and Subaru chalking up wins with Motor Trend, it's fair to say that the automotive awards season is in full swing. The next set of trophies to be handed out will be from Ward's Automotive, which has announced the winners of its 2014 10 Best Engines.
The latest contest was marked by the widespread emergence of diesel power and the continued success of turbocharged engines. There was even an electric motor on this year's list. In fact, only three of the ten winners were naturally aspirated and only two winners returned from last year.
"We weren't looking to throw the bums out, as they might say about an election. We were just really impressed with the flood of new powertrains," said Ward's Automotive Editor-in-Chief Drew Winter. Those new powertrains include the 83-kilowatt electric motor from the Fiat 500e, the 1.0-liter, EcoBoost three-cylinder from the Ford Fiesta and the 2.0-liter turbodiesel from the Chevrolet Cruze.

Hyundai Blue Link Android smartwatch app will start your car

We knew Hyundai would be bringing its Blue Link smartwatch app to the Consumer Electronics Show, and now that CES is upon us, the app's workings have been revealed. Once you get the free Blue Link app on your smartphone and your Android smartwatch and pair them up with the app, it's all systems go. Through either touch or voice commands, you can remotely lock or unlock your car doors, start and stop your engine, flash the lights and honk the horn, or have your watch locate your car. It works on every Hyundai with first- or second-gen Blue Link (which is all of them in the case of first-gen and the 2015 Genesis, Sonata and Azera for second-gen). The watch app isn't quite ready yet, but the company says you'll be able to get it sometime in Q1.
