When I seen this car it was love at first site! The car was owned by a little old lady in Lake Tahoe. She was the original owner of the car. The seats have been re-upholstered, and the dash has bee re-done. When I purchased the car I drove it back to Texas from Reno. It ran fantastic! There is no questions that the Targa 911 SC is a drivers car! The AC works, however needs to have a more powerful blower, if you live in South Texas in the summer time. This car has all original features of the day. Power Windows, that's about it. If you want your first Porsche or are thinking of buying one for a run around car, this is a good one! You will be very happy with this one. I keep it in my garage and I don't drive it almost never. I have so many vehicles, that its time to let some of them go. I have already sold to trucks and now will work on the cars. I hate to give this one up, for I looked for a couple of years for a good used one, and this one was it! For a 34 year old German Car, this is a good buy! The tires have over 50% tread left, and all the current stickers. I have the title and will bring the car within a 150mile range from Houston, Texas. I will need a cashiers check to hold the car of 10% of the purchase price. After inspection I will need the final payment in cashiers check or cash. I will not take personal checks. The car comes with a car cover and owners manual.

2015 Porsche 911 GTS starts at $114,200*

Wed, 08 Oct 2014

Purists often criticize Porsche for creating products like the Cayenne, Panamera and recently launched Macan, saying they dilute the true sports car spirit of the brand. It's an argument we've heard before, and one we counter with two points. First: No they don't. And second: These are Porsche's volume superstars, and the money they rake in allows the company to create dozens of versions of its well-liked sports cars. Want proof? Have a look at the gallery above, where you'll see four new versions of the 911, all with GTS badges on their rumps. This means Porsche now offers 19 versions of the 911. Nineteen.
Porsche offered a GTS version of the 911 in its previous generation, and this new one seeks to slot somewhere between the standard car and the hardcore GT3. It's available in coupe and cabriolet forms, with either rear- or all-wheel drive, starting at $114,200, *not including $995 for destination. The GTS Cabriolet comes in at $126,100, while models equipped with AWD will set you back $120,900 or $132,800 for the coupe or convertible, respectively.
All GTS models get the 430-horsepower version of the Carrera S' 3.8-liter flat-six with the Powerkit, which also includes the Sport Chrono package and the sport exhaust. If equipped with the PDK dual-clutch transmission, the 911 GTS will hit 60 miles per hour in just 3.8 seconds (or four seconds flat, if you've got the Cabriolet) - one tenth of a second quicker than the normal Carrera S. The car's top speed varies, depending on trim or transmission, but Porsche says the car will hit anywhere from 187 to 190 mph, flat out.

911 beware! Porsche testing new top-trim Boxster

Wed, Dec 10 2014

The Boxster and Cayman are like the scrappy siblings compared to their star brother – the Porsche 911. And now it looks like the rivalry is about to get even more serious, as our spies have captured this hotted-up Boxster doing some winter testing. We've already seen Porsche evaluating a higher-performance version of the Cayman, rumored to be called the GT4. It would reportedly offer a taste of the thrills of the 911 GT3, but at a lower price. The coupe appears to have a convertible twin in this Boxster prototype. The biggest giveaway of their possible relationship is the shared front bumper with larger intakes and an extra opening at the tip of the hood. Although, this one lacks the Cayman's big, rear spoiler in favor of a smaller decklid unit. The good news for fans of shifting for themselves is that this tester is fitted with a manual transmission, according to our spies. Being a prototype, though, there's no guarantee that the gearbox makes it to production. At least in Cayman trim, these higher performance models might use a tuned version of the 3.4-liter flat-six with between 370 and 400 horsepower. Though, an earlier rumor suggested that a turbocharged four-cylinder could sit behind the driver. Until we know for sure, glance at the gallery to see a Porsche that might try to challenge its big brother.

Overnight action from the 24 Hours of Le Mans

Sun, 23 Jun 2013

We won't go into a recap here, but there are still leading positions being fought for in all classes - it's so close that leads are changing when a car goes into the pits. We'll let the recap wait until the end of the race, so for now enjoy some shots from last night's action at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
