Properly maintained original California car. Still wearing six digit blue license plates. Rust free. Zero
accidents. Originally burgundy red, however, the car has had a color change to bahia red. The paint shines nicely
and suits the car very well. The panel fit is impeccable and both doors close easily with the factory ping. The
hood and decklid open and close easily and line up properly. Recently rebuilt 911E engine has +/- 185psi on all
cylinders and runs strong. The MFI has recently been tuned and the engine is running very well. The original 901
transmission is smooth and precise. The suspension is tight featuring Koni shocks all around. The interior is
completely original apart from the Konig sport seats and a replacement dash. The original carpets are in very nice
condition and betray their age. The door panels are very nice as well. The entirety of the electrical system is
fully functioning including all interior and exterior lights. All gages function as they should. Unique features
include a 7200 RPM "s" tachometer, "s" gages, and "s" trim throughout. Many recent upgrades and services performed
by RMG in Mountain View. Services include: New fuel lines, new brake hoses, new master cylinder, new OEM fuel pump,
new shift bushings, new batteries, new tires, and many other odds and ends. There are some minor imperfections in
various areas, but overall this is a well sorted, strong running 911. Please ask any questions you may have.

Porsche creates 'symphony' with seven generations of 911
Wed, 02 Oct 2013At Porsche, things are getting a bit wild on the 50th anniversary year of the 911. To celebrate it (again) in yet another inventive way, the automaker has called on the musical talents of seven generations of the rear-engine sports car (please suspend your disbelief, at least for the length of the video, and assume that generation two started in 1974) to perform a song that has eight notes. We're wondering which 911 is pulling double duty...
But before the Porsches are lined up for the short recital, the drivers let loose and drift them inside a hangar. Watch the video below, and tell us in comments which was more impressive: the song or the drifting.
Porsche's high-tech 'mirror' turns every car into a Macan
Wed, Dec 17 2014Porsche calls it the "Magic Mirror," but it's less a reflective device and more 12 high-def screens that track drivers pulling into the valet area at a mall in Los Angeles. As they pass the screens in their cars, they get to see what they'd look like pulling up in a Macan, Porsche's newest and smallest crossover. It could be considered the experiential evolution of a prior campaign that let people imagine how a Porsche would look in their driveways, an idea that was taken even further by a dealer in Toronto a few years later. Check out the video to see how it was done and how it was received.
2014 Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition is the ace of base
Tue, 14 Jan 2014If there's one automaker that certainly doesn't skimp on the special edition models, it's Porsche, and here at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show, we're getting our first look at yet another unique take on one of the company's most popular models. It's called the Cayenne Platinum Edition, and while many special models build off of higher-trim vehicles, this one adds a bit of flair to the most basic version of the luxury SUV.
The Platinum Edition is available on Cayennes with the base 3.6-liter V6 or the 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6. Platinum models are set apart from other models with the addition of silver exterior accents on the grilles, window trim and rear spoiler, as well as the two-tone, black-and-beige interior scheme. It also comes standard with the eight-speed Tiptronic S transmission, Power Steering Plus, Park Assist, the Convenience Package and Bose audio.
The cost of entry? $63,000 for the naturally aspirated Cayenne or $66,900 for the diesel. That's a full $13,000 more than the base model, but Porsche says it's actually a bargain as opposed to selecting all of those options individually. Have a look below for Porsche's official release.
