If you are looking for a fine restoration project this one is for you. I have owned this Porsche for years and a restoration had begun but not completed. It was mostly complete but partially disassembled when I bought it well over 15 years ago. I have always stored it inside. Currently it is on a rotisserie which is not included as well as the engine stand seen in the pictures.
Most needed replacement body panels were purchased from Zims in Dallas Texas and are a very high quality. Some panels on the left side have been installed by a body shop. The engine was running when purchased and looking under valve cover led me to thing it may be a low mileage rebuild. I do not know if it is the original to the car. The transaxle as well as front suspension have been removed and are included in sale.
Included are New front windshield, rear glass, front seats, gauges includes clock, sway bar, defroster tube, six headlight assemblies and very nice front and rear bumpers I purchased a few years ago. I also have many, many other small parts both new and used that are included.
Please note that you will need a body "dolly" to move and ship. I will work with the Buyer for pickup however I can not help with heavy lifting. Contact me for other information or pictures you might need.

China may surpass US as Porsche's largest market this year thanks to Cayenne
Thu, 09 Oct 2014China has already surpassed the United States as the world's largest automotive market, so it's no surprise that one day soon it will be the world's largest Porsche market.
In fact, that day may already be here, as the PRC's Porschephiles outbought their American counterparts in September. Porsche's Chinese dealers sold 4,344 cars last month to America's 3,607. Through all of 2014 so far, though, the US is still the larger market for the German brand.
"The U.S. performed very well this year, after a great year in 2013, but China is growing fast, thanks to the Cayenne which is our best seller there," Porsche's sales and marketing boss, Bernhard Maier, told Automotive News Europe.
Porsche Cayenne, Panamera production halted by flooding
Thu, 06 Jun 2013If you recently ordered a Porsche Cayenne or a Panamera, delivery may take a little longer than originally expected. Automotive News reports that production of both models has been temporarily halted at the Porsche assembly plant in Leipzig, Germany as the result of supply shortages caused by flooding in the nearby Czech Republic. The reason for the stoppage is that the body of the Cayenne - currently Porsche's best-selling model - is produced at a Volkswagen plant in the Czech city of Bratislava and shipped by train to Leipzig.
The report does not indicate why Panamera production has been stopped - that the five-door's body is made at a separate location in Hanover, Germany. However pre-assembly will continue on these models. At full capacity, the Leipzig plant can produce about 450 vehicles per day, and it isn't clear how long this weather-related stoppage will last.

While Bosch's costs may be higher, its solution would offer simpler logistics. Panasonic is already well established as a battery maker, providing the packs for the Porsche car's rival, Tesla. Read more from Automotive News. Renault will supply a fleet of 150 Renault Zoe EVs for a smart solar charging project in Utrecht, Netherlands. The project involves the installation of 1,000 EV chargers powered by 10,000 photovoltaic panels. The Renault Zoes would be used as part of a carsharing program powered by the solar chargers. Renault and its partners will also implement a vehicle-to-grid system to provide energy during peak demand from the solar chargers and connected EVs. Read more in the press release from Renault. Ford has been testing an autonomous Fusion Hybrid prototype that is capable of driving itself in snowy conditions. Ford uses 3D mapping to scan the drive route. Its LiDAR laser mapping can even detect single falling snowflakes. It collects and processes up to 600 gigabytes of data per hour, comparing its environment to saved maps, a process that helps establish location more precisely than GPS. In addition to the LiDAR systems, the car is also equipped with cameras and radar to help it navigate. Eventually, the car could even be able to clean off its sensors when it detects loss of performance from ice and dirt. Read more in the press release below.
