Well as you can tell by my starting price this is not a Judge GTO. But sure has a nice look though.
I bought the car as you see it. I went through a lot of stuff to make it a very dependable driver. This is a 1972 lemans as you can tell convertible.
Top is like new and powers up and down as it should. Has the GTO stripes and wing hood and grill with Judge badge. Car is orange and really does get a lot of attention every where we take it. Seats are very nice front and back and like new carpet. Has up dated radio but the dash is not all hacked up for it. Dash is very nice as is gauges. Everything works even the door buzzer minus the lighter. Have original protecto plate. Car gets driven and for a 350 2 barrel car really scoots pretty well. Gas mileage is stellar. Has red line tires in great shape dual exhaust. What has been replaced or is current as of this season is: valve covers and gaskets/ alternator/ starter/ battery/ coil/ cap rotor / plugs and wires/ Quarter window chrome and rubber both sides/ all fluids/ air cleaner/ I have new door handles not installed comes with ones on car are dull in luster. Car presents itself well but is not a recent paint car. there are stone chips or nicks up at grill and on other areas of the car to be expected of a car driven often. doors open and close easily no major drop issues.
There are a couple issues as any car of it's age would have. The key mechanism either starting or shutting off you have to turn the column barrel left or right to properly start or shut off, like a neutral safety switch. I have a brand new restored column I had for another car which I never used I will give to the new owner if this is a problem for you. It's a 500 dollar column. It is very minor never bothered me none, may not in your case either but I will give it to you either way. Drivers window all the way up is slightly off may need alignment. only when it's completely up. 3 inches down you could never tell. The trans mount on both sides have been extended left and right not sure if the trans was replaced in its life time before me. Like any 350 style trans if it sits for a period of time it will drip.
Drives really nice. gets great looks. I am asking a very fair reserve for a convertible you can just get in and go to cruise night. IF THE CAR SELLS LOCAL I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THE AUCTION UNLESS RESERVE IS MET AUCTION WILL RUN TO THE END. THANKS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO READ TO THE END AND FOR LOOKING AT THIS CAR. I AM LISTING A 1954 GASSER BELAIR 1966 Fairlane I'M LETTING THESE GO FOR I LIKE TO FIND SOMETHING CUSTOM OR CHOPPED MAYBE A STREET ROD FASTBACK MUSTANG OR 60'S CAMARO. KINDA LIKE TO HAVE SOMETHING DIFFERENT.

Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you
Thu, 21 Feb 2013As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.
'We're not a hedge fund': Porsche plans to curtail speculators and flippers
Tue, May 30 2017A sizable number of speculators view cars as an investment. Rare or unusual models are quickly snapped up and either parked for years or flipped for a profit. Cars from automakers like Porsche and Ferrari are more prone than others, and at least some people behind these models are getting a bit tired of it. While it's difficult to police what goes on after you sell a car, Porsche has some plans that might curtail the problem before it starts. Andreas Preuninger, the head of GT road-car development and the man behind the new 911 GT3, spoke to Car and Driver at a recent event. "I personally like to see my cars being used," he said. "That's what we build them for. They are just too good to be left to stand and collect dust." One recent example of this rampant speculation is the 911 R. While the special manual-only model sold for $185,950 when new, used versions were selling for nearly $1.3 million just months after it went on sale. While the car is a masterpiece and an instant classic, a good number will be parked and simply used as art and not the rolling testaments to the man/machine interface they were intended to be. The concern over valuations has become so fierce that some owners are upset that Porsche is offering the new 911 GT3 with a manual transmission, fearing that it may hurt the value of the 911 R. "When I said we're not a hedge fund, I'm talking to those people who are yelling at us for offering the manual transmission similar to the R," Preuninger said. "But if there are people wanting to buy cars like that, then as a company we should try to fulfill that, to meet that demand." It seems Porsche is keeping a close eye on who is flipping cars. Since there is often far more demand than supply with certain models, the German automaker has a name for every car before it's built. Buyers with bad reputations might not even make the wait list. GM's got 107 problems and NHTSA's No. 1
Thu, Mar 6 2014General Motors' problems with its recall of roughly 1.6-million vehicles continue to mount. Now that it has emerged that GM knew about the problem since at least 2004 but waited to recall vehicles until February 2014, regulators at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration have begun a much deeper investigation. NHTSA has sent a 27-page survey to GM that includes 107 questions about the timeline of what led up to the recall, and it has until April 3 to reply. This isn't a simple, multiple-choice test. Automotive News believes that hundreds of pages could be required to answer some of the queries. NHTSA says that it is still investigating GM's response to the recall. "We are a data-driven organization, and we will take whatever action is appropriate based on where our findings lead us," said NHTSA in a statement on its website. If found liable, the automaker could face a fine as high as $35 million and even possible criminal charges, according to Bloomberg. NHTSA's questions include a detailed explanation of GM's examination process; how it will improve the process; why a planned redesign of the cars' key in 2005 wasn't implemented; and specific data on each complaint it received. According to Bloomberg, NHTSA also has records that show the company had a meeting with regulators to discuss the airbag failure in a Chevrolet Cobalt in 2007. New GM CEO Mary Barra has also hired an outside law firm to conduct an independent investigation about what happened. It will include questioning company employees who were involved with the process from the start. The recall stems from faulty ignition switches that shut off the car while driving, and if it occurs the airbags deactivate. Thirteen deaths and 23 crashes have been caused by the problem, according to Bloomberg. If you would like to peruse NHTSA's entire questionnaire for GM, it can be viewed here.
