2005 GTO Cyclone grey for sale. Car is making 600+HP at the rear wheels. The car is mechanically solid 100% and drives like any regular car till you put your foot in the pedal. Car is rediculously fast and should run 10s in the 1/4 with some slicks. Car needs some minor body work and I'd recommend a fresh paint job. The headliner should be replaced as well as there are holes in it (doesn't hang down or anything). Previous previous owner did not take car of the car and the guy I bought it from was in the middle of restoring it and only got as far as the mechanics of the car. Still gets 24-26mpg highway and shifts smooth as butter. Only reason I'm getting rid of it is I just accepted a job in Bathesda and won't have time to restore it and drive it like I planned. Please email with any questions or want more pictures.

MOTOR AND ALL MODS ONLY HAVE 4000 MILES ON THEM.  I have receipts for all of the work done to the car.  All fluids are fresh from the trans to the motor and is a great daily driver or weekend toy.

The bad:

Drivers side front fender has a crease in it
Rear deck lid ding
Minor scrapes/scratches
Cigarette burns? in headliner (Does not smell like smoke inside)
Could use tires
Storage pouch on back of drivers seat needs to be reapplied
ABS has been deleted so ABS light comes on

Thousands has been put into the car and it is mechanically sound and drives straight as an arrow.  The only issues are purely cosmetic and the car just needs to be gone over in that aspect.  There are no tears in the seats and the interior is in good condition minus the headliner.  I have the title in hand however I will need full payment in order to get the lien release from Navy Federal which I will overnight to the new owner.  I will not take less than the listed price as there is more into the motor than that.

GM recalling over 40,000 Chevy, Pontiac and Saturn models over fuel pump woes

Mon, 01 Oct 2012

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall for a number of General Motors cars and crossovers bought or currently registered in the hot-climate states of Arkansas, Arizona, California, Nevada, Oklahoma and Texas. As many as 40,859 units consisting of the 2007 Chevrolet Equinox, Pontiac Torrent and Saturn Ion and the 2007-2009 Chevrolet Cobalt (shown) and its Pontiac G5 twin are being recalled for potential fuel leaks.
This recall is being issued due to potentially faulty fuel pump components that can crack and cause gasoline to leak from the return or supply ports and possibly cause a fire. NHTSA has not indicated how many fuel leaks or vehicle fires have been reported. As a fix, GM will replace the fuel pump modules on all affected vehicles free of charge. Since Pontiac and Saturn have been shuttered, owners will be able to go to another GM-brand dealership to have their vehicles repaired.
While the list of affected cars and crossovers varies by state and model year, if you own any of these models and live in Arizona, California, Florida, Nevada, Oklahoma or Texas, be sure to check the official notice below for more details.

Howard Stern latest in Seinfeld's passenger seat for CiCGC

Thu, 06 Feb 2014

We'll be honest: the actual cars in Jerry Seinfeld's hit internet series, Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee, typically take a back seat to the celebrities in the front row. Seinfeld usually throws in a few lines about his classic wheels in the first minute or so, and then moves on to the important business of sprightly conversation and pithy one-liners. It's great.
This time around, with legendary motormouth Howard Stern riding shotgun, the 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge that might have been a co-star, gets forgotten about almost completely. Instead, Stern spends a tremendous amount of screen time extolling the virtues of his therapy sessions, attempts to dive into Seinfeld's prowess as a lover and generally makes a nuisance of himself. Pretty much to plan, then.
Scroll below to hear Howard accuse Jerry of acting like Jesus, just before declaring himself the greatest radio personality in the history of the business.

GM recalls 61k more vehicles in three campaigns

Sun, 05 Oct 2014

Following a stop-delivery order for its new midsize trucks and a rash of recent recalls, General Motors is issuing three more campaigns covering 60,575 vehicles in North America with 57,182 of them in the US. As of October 1, the automaker has issued a total of 74 recalls (see the ridiculously long chart to the right) this year covering 26,495,070 units in the US.
The largest campaign covers 46,873 examples in the US of the 2008-2009 Pontiac G8 and 2011-2013 Chevrolet Caprice Police Patrol Vehicle imported from Australia. It's possible for the driver's knee to hit the key and make it move from the "Run" to "ACC" position while driving. GM says its Holden division is developing a fixed-blade key that's supposed to fix the problem by only allowing it to rotate toward the "On" position. There has been one crash caused by this fault but no injuries or fatalities.
The second recall is for 10,005 units of the 2004-2007 Cadillac CTS-V and 2006-2007 Cadillac STS-V because "the fuel pump module electrical terminal may overheat." This can cause a flange to melt and allow the pump to leak fuel. GM specifies that the remedy for the CTS-V is replacing the fuel module and fuel tank jumper harness, but it doesn't specify how the STS-V is being repaired.
