WILL NEED BONDED TITLE WILL NEED BONDED TITLE
This is a 1968 Pontiac GTO.  A real 242 GTO.
Its quite rare as this is a basically a low to no-option car.
This is a low option car, no power steering, no ac, no power brakes.
It has a two barrel 400, but ive never tried to figure out if its the original motor or not.  They did come that way, and judging by the fact that this is a no option car, its likely it is the original engine.
It does have what I believe to be the original 3 speed manual transmission, it is the FOMOCO 3 speed. A Dearborn m13.
The car has minimal rust.  The floor pans are in great shape, trunk pan needs minor work
Worst part of car is passenger quarter panel  I think it must have sat with that side down and water collected in that part, because the drivers side looks like a completely different car.
It looks as if the body was off at some point and the frame was painted.
The front fenders are off of a LeMans
Car has spare parts in the trunk.  but if you dont see it in the pics, it isnt included with the car.
It has been sitting under a carport for the last 4 years or so.
Car has spent its entire life in Central Texas.
I do have the Texas title to the car, however it was signed in the wrong spot many years ago.
Two years ago I did do the paperwork for the bonded title, but then deployed overseas and never got around to it.
Since I have the original paper title it is no problem to get a bonded title, just mainly the purchase price of the bond, which was $250 when I was going to do it before, but at the time just didnt have the funds.
WILL NEED A BONDED TITLE IN TEXAS, Your state may vary.
Buyer will need to get a bonded title if in Texas.  I will include the bill of sale from my purchase of the car and a bill of sale from me to the new buyer.
Car is located in RED ROCK TEXAS 78662.
A NON REFUNDABLE $500 deposit is due immediately at end of auction, with full payment within7 working days. Car to be picked up within 20 days.  Cash is Preferred for remaining balance. Personal Check is acceptable but must wait to clear before picking up car.
Car must be removed from location within 20 days of the end of auction or car will be relisted and I will keep the deposit unless other arrangements are made.
Buyer is to arrange all shipping. Car will need to be trailered.   I am willing to deliver it within 300 miles of Red Rock TX at the cost of 1.50 a mile.
WILL NEED A BONDED TITLE IN TEXAS.

This 93-car Iowa auction is like a Big 3 classic muscle museum

Tue, Aug 27 2019

Bill "Coyote" Johnson has been buying cars since high school and has amassed a collection totaling 113 vehicles, according to NBC 6 News. But time has changed his motivations and priorities, and he's decided to auction 93 of those cars, many of which are classic muscle from Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge, Plymouth and Pontiac. The megasale will take place Sept. 14, 2019, in Red Oak, Iowa, at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. A 1969 Plymouth Road Runner infected Coyote with a love for Detroit muscle when he was just a teenager, and his desire quickly turned into an obsession. He's spent the past 40 years finding, buying and working on a variety of makes and models. Unlike some collectors, Coyote didn't discriminate against certain brands and has rides from each of the Big 3 automakers. Included in the auction are Camaros, Satellites, Super Bees, Chargers, Challengers, Barracudas, Coronets, GTOs, Mustangs, Cutlasses and others. Possibly the most intriguing aspect of the auction is that all of these cars will be sold as-is with no reserve. Many of them will need work, depending on quality standards, but this seems like a golden opportunity to find a classic car without leaving a bank account in shambles.  The auctions are open for bidding online now, and the full auction will take place on September 14. Check out the full listings and bid at VanDerBrink Auctions.

2013 Hurst Edition Trans Am

Mon, 13 May 2013

No, you didn't read our title wrong. This is a 2013 model year Trans Am, and yes, that is a Pontiac logo affixed to the front of the car. But don't bother dialing up your local General Motors dealership just yet. This is the new Hurst Edition Trans Am created by the Trans Am Depot located in Tallahassee, FL. Having spent a number of years restoring early Trans Am models, the crew at Trans Am Depot finally did what many Pontiac enthusiasts wish GM would have done - create a modern Trans Am using the fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro.
As the former owner of a 1977 model, I've been wanting to check out Trans Am Depot ever since I first saw the company have American Choppers build a trio of motorcycles inspired by its Pontiac remakes. So I jumped at the chance to head to Florida's capital city to visit the shop and drive its latest creation, the new Hurst Edition Trans Am. As a collaboration with Hurst, this car made its debut at the 2012 SEMA Show and then popped up again on our radar with a cheesy yet perfectly fitting video back in March.

Woodward Dream Cruise Photo Gallery | Classics and American muscle

Sun, Aug 21 2022

The 2022 running of the Woodward Dream Cruise just went down, and we were there from morning to evening drinking in the sweet sights and pre-emissions exhaust fumes. Yes, it’s a little smelly on Woodward Ave. this time of year. Just like always, the Dream Cruise invites all comers to cruise their machines on Woodward from Ferndale, MI to Pontiac, MI. Everybody is invited, but the original intent of the Dream Cruise was to highlight classic American muscle cars. YouÂ’ll see plenty of those in our mega gallery above, but weÂ’ve sprinkled it with a bunch of other vehicle types, such as modern muscle and other intriguing American vehicles. Similar to years past, though, sometimes the classics arenÂ’t the most entertaining thing to look at on Woodward. ThatÂ’s why weÂ’ll have other mega galleries coming soon, highlighting the weird cars and (great) dogs of the Cruise, all the imports and exotics you can imagine and a special one for all the trucks of Woodward — perhaps even more so than in years past, the truck population on Dream Cruise day was quite high. Click through above to see all the classics you wouldÂ’ve seen had you been roadside on the day of the cruise. And if you missed this yearÂ’s event, make sure you check out what happens next year. You wonÂ’t be alone, as itÂ’s estimated that over 1 million people attend the Dream Cruise to either watch from the side of the road or to sit in the most glorious traffic jam in the world.
