Pontiac Grand Prix Arizona Car No Rust Buckets Console Beautiful Silver Paint on 2040-cars
Kingman, Arizona, United States
This is a good looking 71 grand prix. It is a no rust Arizona car. It is located in kingman, AZ zip 86401. I am about 100 miles south of las vegas right off I 40 and route 66. Please come and look at this in person, it is very hard to describe a 40 year old car typing a couple of paragraphs. This car is a real head turner. It gets lots of compliments everywhere it goes. You can take it out on a Saturday night cruise and be proud. This has a nice silver paint job. with a black vinyl top. It has bucket seats, console, floor shifter. It has power windows, tilt, AC (not working) power steering and brakes. The seats and headliner were redone in grey cloth, not the original material. It is way to hot in kingman, to have black vinyl seats. I was told this has a 1973 400 engine. I am not a Pontiac expert please look at it in person. It has a 2 bbl carb so it is ok on gas. It runs good, does not have any engine noise or smoke. It has a rebuilt turbo 400 transmission. dual exhaust This car runs and drives good. I have driven it around with no problems. I know I will get the e-mails asking if I can drive it home to new York without any problems? That is a hard question, I have not had any problems with it, but my crystal ball is not working. something as simple as a broken radiator hose in the middle of nowhere is a big deal. dual exhaust aluminum wheels I have some 5 spoke Pontiac wheels but they need to be cleaned and painted, no center caps or rings. I have a clear Arizona title. For shipping cost you can try uship.com or any other company you choose. I will try and work with buyer and shipping, I know a lot of these cars go out of the country. Cash in person at pick up is best, but I know that is not always possible. I will also accept wire transfer, but the car does not leave until funds are cleared. I know I will get the question whats the reserve? That shouldn't be a problem this should be a $10,000 car and the reserve Is half that and I might even lower the reserve. I don't need to sell the car, but I need the garage space and this car is way to nice to park outside.

German prosecutors have recorded calls between VW bigwigs talking dieselgate
Thu, Mar 21 2019It's barely possible to believe how poorly Volkswagen continues to handle dieselgate. Depending on which day you catch the news, the German carmaker embodies the corporate venality of "Michael Clayton," the comic blundering of the Coen Brothers' "Burn After Reading," and the every-man-for-himself vengeance of "Reservoir Dogs." Today is Tarantino day, with news that German prosecutors have recordings of phone calls between former Audi and Porsche development boss Wolfgang Hatz, ex-Volkswagen Group executive Matthias Muller, and current Porsche executives Oliver Blume and Michael Steiner. Hatz made the calls to the trio in November 2015, two months after Volkswagen admitted its diesel-particulate sins to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Hatz was still employed at the time, and in his company car. Who recorded the calls? His wife. Hatz and his missus apparently saw the storm coming and started stacking defenses early. Hatz's wife, who can be heard encouraging Hatz during at least one call, sent the recordings to Hatz's attorney from her mobile phone. According to a Google translation of the German newspaper Handelsblatt's report, she included the note, "Here is a very long, but quite informative conversation on the current situation with useful formulations." The report in Handelsblatt said that in Germany it is generally "not allowed" to record a conversation and pass it on to a third party. We don't know how the authorities will handle this matter, since prosecutors found the recordings in e-mail attachments on Mrs. Hatz's mobile phone. Remember, when the diesel scandal broke, VW spent months saying that only a small number of low-level personnel were behind it, and all of the higher-ups had been blindsided. Ex-CEO Martin Winterkorn claimed to be "stunned that misconduct on such a scale was possible in the Volkswagen Group." Winterkorn successor Matthias Muller said, "according to current information, a few developers interfered in the engine management." Former VW USA honcho Michael Horn told a congressional committee that "a couple of software engineers" programmed the software for reasons no one could understand. In the recorded conversations, Hatz apparently called Muller to find out how VW planned to treat him.
eBay Find of the Day: 1967 Pontiac GTO Monkeemobile
Sun, 29 Apr 2012Say what you will about The Monkees, but the guys in the band had great taste in automobiles. Take the Monkeemobile, for example. Built off a 1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible, the custom featured genuinely interesting bodywork and some wild engine bolt-ons. If you're a fan of 1960s pop and yearn to relive the genre's glory days, eBay Motors may have what you need. A recreation of the 1967 Monkeemobile has showed up for auction. This particular replica was built by Dakota County Customs using an four-speed GTO, just like the original.
Built for the band's 45th anniversary and the final Monkees tour last year, this Monkeemobile is faithful down to every last detail. Unfortunately, the trumpet exhaust poking out of the front fender wells and the massive gold-flake blower are for show only. Seems fitting.
If you like what you see, this machine is up for bid in Richfield, Minnesota with two days left on the auctions. So far, bidding as whipped up to $60,000 with the reserve not met. Head over to eBay Motors to have a look.
Want to buy a worst-in-show-winning Faux Ferrari Fiero?
Mon, Aug 31 2020UPDATE: This heap sold for $5,001. But don't fret, there are more terrible cars out there for the taking if that's your thing. Today we bring you something truly terrible. It's not just a fake Ferrari built on the guts of an old Pontiac Fiero, it's actually the world's worst fake Ferrari built on the guts of an old Pontiac Fiero. And it's got the award from the Concours d'Lemons to prove it. It's so heinous, in fact, that it has somehow managed to become desirable, at least judging by the bidding history of this bright red affront to Maranello. Powered by a 140-horsepower 2.8-liter V6 engine (covered by an unconvincing and broken fake V12 cover) hooked to an automatic gearbox, this gloriously poor Prancing Horse won't be winning many stoplight drag races. There are bundles of stray wires hanging down from the dashboard, it has high mileage, most of its lights don't work, and it's ugly. Like, really ugly. And to top it off, this Fauxrarri can't currently be registered in its home state of California because it has failed its most recent smog test. Put simply, you're looking at a total piece of junk. But a piece of junk with internet notoriety, having been featured on an episode of Jay Leno's Garage after attending the 2019 Quail Motorsports Gathering — by mistake at first, and then earning a special place next to the porta potties — being the focus of a video series on YouTube and winning the aforementioned ribbon for Worst in Show at Lemons. Somehow, bidding has topped $4,000 at the time of this writing. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings.
