I have a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP for sale. The GTP is equipped with a factory Eaton supercharger producing 260 HP and 280 FT/LB or torque. This particular car has been upgraded with a 3.6" modular supercharger pulley from ZZPerformance (it comes with a 3.8" pulley stock) producing about 2 lbs more of boost, which produces roughly 20 more HP. Other than that, the car is unmodified and bone stock, except for the Clarion head unit (see picture). We had the transmission rebuilt by AAMCO last year due to an internal seal failing. It has had about 20,000 miles put on that transmission.
The good: this vehicle has heated leather seats and power everything. Runs strong and smooth. A/C blows cold. The car does not leak a drop of anything. We replaced all the seals and gaskets (oil pan, front/rear main, valve cover...) when we the transmission was done. The water pump, alternator, power steering pump, power steering rack, wheel bearings (front), radiator, front shocks, rear shocks, A-arm bushings, ball joints, outer tie rods, supercharger oil, battery were all replaced within the last 20,000 - 40,000 miles, as well. CLEAN TITLE, no accidents/issues. Complimentary full tank of 91.
The bad: the car does have 168,000 miles on it and the variable assist warning is on. The power steering still functions but the LCD on the dash says to service it. The driver's side leather on the edge is a bit worn and the front/rear bumpers have some scratches on them. The tires will need to be replaced at some point soon but they still have plenty of life in them.
I am selling this car as-is and I have the title in hand. I will accept cash or cashiers check. If you are interested, call/text Patrick at (661) 361-5520.

Pontiac Firebird in latest Generation Gap scrap
Tue, 30 Sep 2014Generation Gap is mining the Lingenfelter collection again this week to compare two very different interpretations of the Pontiac Firebird. An original 1968 example goes toe-to-toe with a 2010 Lingenfelter Trans Am to see whether the old man or the modern re-imagining takes the crown.
Being from the Lingenfelter collection, both cars are absolutely immaculate. The '68 packs a Pontiac 350-cubic-inch (5.7-liter) V8 with a claimed 320 horsepower and some classic, muscular style with a hood-mounted tach. Plus, it's painted in an understated shade of green that you don't usually see.
In the other corner is Lingenfelter's pumped-up take on the classic shape based on the modern Camaro, and this is just one of six concept versions ever made. It wears an eye-catching, vintage-inspired livery of blue with a white stripe package. Under its shaker hood is a 455-cubic-inch (7.5-liter) V8 with a reported 655 hp and 610 pound-feet of torque.
Rumormill: DeLorean Motor Company considering rescuing Pontiac Solstice?
Wed, 07 Oct 2009 DeLorean Motor Company Pontiac Solstice renderings - Click above for high-res image gallery
General Motors has made a science out of sharing platforms. So when the company's Kappa platform was introduced for a new rear-drive roadster to be distributed across three different motor divisions, you'd have figured the program was pretty safe, right? Unfortunately for the workers at the Wilmington Assembly Plant which manufactured the Kappa roadsters, those three divisions were Pontiac, Saturn and Opel - three units which the General has either sold or shut down. Which is a shame, because a perfectly good rear-drive roadster platform is a heck of a thing to waste.
In one of the strangest rumors we've heard recently, however, our compatriots over at Jalopnik report that the DeLorean Motor Company (yes, that DeLorean Motor Company) is considering buying the plant and the platform from GM and putting it back into production as a new DMC.
Pontiac and McLaren once hooked up, and it was rad
Fri, Jun 24 2022Most of us would bend over backwards to have a chance to own a McLaren car, but few can afford such extravagance. That said, theres a way you can get behind the wheel of a legitimate McLaren without breaking the bank. For 1989 and 1990, the Pontiac Grand Prix was offered in a limited-edition ASC-McLaren variant that featured tuning and updates from the iconic British automaker. Examples of this rare coupe rarely surface for sale, so itΒs surprising to see this low-mile 1990 Pontiac Grand Prix ASC-McLaren on eBay. The car is the result of a partnership between American Specialty Cars-McLaren (ASC-McLaren) and Pontiac. WeΒre not talking about the McLaren Formula 1 team or even the iconic McLaren road cars here. The McLaren connection comes from an arm of the automakerΒs powertrain engineering department. The Grand PrixΒs standard 3,1-liter V6 got a massage and a turbocharger, adding 65 horsepower for a total of 205 ponies and 225 pound-feet of torque. A four-speed automatic transmission sends power to the front wheels. That output is modest by todayΒs standards, and it wasnΒt outrageous even by 1990 standards, but the car returned a decent 0-60 mph time of around 7 seconds. The $5,000 ASC-McLaren package added a load of cool 1980s tech to the Grand PrixΒs interior, some of which is surprisingly advanced for the time. The car got a head-up display and a digital display on the dash. The steering wheel should be delightfully familiar to anyone who remembers a top-end Pontiac of the era, with the entire center of the wheel filled with buttons instead of the airbags we see today. The car had insanely padded bucket seats front and rear(!) with a distinctive pear shape.Β Many sources peg production numbers between 2,500 and 3,500 units, so the car is relatively rare compared to its mass-produced Pontiac counterparts. This oneΒs got just 17,746 miles on the clock, too, and appears to be in excellent condition. ItΒs had just two owners and no reported accidents. The seller notes a little surface rust from the car being in storage so long. This era of GM cars tended to deteriorate quickly, so a bit of surface rust shouldnΒt be a huge issue.
