This is a like new 1985 Grand Prix. The car was purchased new here in Colorado. It has a V-8 engine, power steering, power brakes, air, power locks, seats and windows and has cruise control. If you want a new car you might consider this one.....It drives, looks and smells like a new car. It has been started and driven over the years to keep it from leaking and all systems working well. The only flaw on the car is one dimple on the roof on the drivers side. I would prefer NO-EMAIL-I am not at my desk that much. If you have any questions or concerns -PLEASE CALL- We can go over the car so you know what you are buying- you won't be dissapointed for sure. I can store the car- pick you up at the airport if needed and hopefully make this a fun purchase. I would ask that you see the car in person or have someone do that for you but again a phone call will work to go over the car panel by panel if needed. I do intend to list the car locally so if I WOULD GET A REASONABLE OFFER- I would like to remove it from the auction site- I hope this is ok with everyone- PLEASE Call George at 303-823-8777 home or cell 303-709-6053- We live about one hour north and west of Denver Colorado. NOTE- Please read all feedback - It is VERY misleading...

Lutz dishes dirt on GM in latest Autoline Detroit
Mon, 20 Jun 2011Bob Lutz sits down for Autoline Detroit - Click above to watch video after the jump
Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:
All Chevrolet vehicles were required to have five-spoke aluminum wheels and a chrome band up front, as part of the Bowtie brand's overall image.
Automakers tussle over owners of 'orphan' makes
Thu, 10 May 2012When General Motors put down several of its brands in recent years, it also let loose thousands of brand-loyal customers who will eventually need another car.
R.L. Polk Associates estimates there are more than 18 million cars from 16 discontinued makes on the road today. Those "orphan owners" have sales-hungry competitors seeing dollar signs. GM is offering Saturn owners $1,000 cash toward a Chevy Cruze, Cadillac CTS or a GMC Acadia. Ford is giving its Mercury lease customers a chance to get out of their contracts with no early-termination penalty and offering to waive six remaining payments if they drive off in a Ford or Lincoln.
Edmunds.com research shows the efforts are paying off somewhat for GM, with 39 percent of Pontiac owners, 37 percent of Hummer owners and 31 percent of Saturn owners taking delivery of another GM-branded vehicle. But that leaves as much as 69 percent of owners going elsewhere. Ford, Honda and Toyota seem to be attracting many former GM owners.
Looking back at Oprah's free-car giveaway 10 years later
Fri, 12 Sep 2014
Oprah kicked off her 19th season in dramatic fashion by giving all 276 members of the studio audience a free car.
Molly Vielweber's Pontiac G6 appears unremarkable at first glance. It wears forest green paint, rolls on five-spoke aluminum wheels, and it has a sizeable scrape in the driver's side door, the scar of a decade's worth of hard use. You wouldn't notice it parked at a big box store or cruising on the highway. Pontiac made hundreds of thousands of G6s in the 2000s, and a lot are still on the road. It's unremarkable in every way except for the front license plate, which reads, "Oprah 6."
