Up for auction is one 1994 Pontiac Firebird, 3.4L 6 Cylinder engine with an Automatic Transmission. I purchased the vehicle because it needed minor work that I was willing to do. I drove it around a bit but I am willing to part with it because it's not my type of vehicle. (I need something much larger). The vehicle has a new water pump and coolant service. It will need a tune-up, including plugs and wires at some time in the future. (Will probably cost about $50). There are no leaks or signs of big problems. The car drives great and is quite peppy. It also gets on average 25 MPG which is better than what my Fusion gets, go figure.
As far as the exterior, it will need some correction. As pictured, there are some spots of peeling clear-coat. Mostly on the driver-door and on the hatch. There is fading and discoloration on the roof. But I belief with some handy work it will clean up nicely. Wet sanding and compounding should make this car shine up pretty good. The rest of the car looks decent. It's a tri-coat paint-job and looks great in the sun with the sparkles. The tires are in great shape. Fairly new tread all around. A/C works flawlessly. The head-lights pop up without issue. The driver door needs to be slammed closed, and the directional stay on when you turn on the blinker (no flash). I checked the car quickly for blown-out bulbs but couldn't find any.
Blue-Book value for the vehicle is $2,600 in excellent condition, and $1,900 in fair condition.

Florida man runs down bikers in traffic
Tue, May 31 2016A Florida biker and his passenger got a nasty surprise when a road rage incident turned ugly on Monday. According to WTSP, Joe Calderazzo was returning from a Veterans Memorial Day motorcycle rally around 5:30 pm with a group of fellow riders. During their ride, the group got entangled with an overly aggressive driver in a Pontiac. Abe Garcia of Tampa watched the silver Pontiac attempt to run the pack of bikers off the road, which started the altercation. The bikers caught up to the Pontiac in stopped traffic, and a shouting match ensued between the bikers and the Pontiac driver. At this point, Garcia pulled out his phone and started recording. The exchange escalated, and suddenly the Pontiac driver floored it, turned hard to the right, and ran over Calderazzo's Harley. The Pontiac mangled the Harley and knocked Calderazzo and his passenger to the ground. The Pontiac then fled the scene. WTSP spoke to Calderazzo as he was on his way to the hospital. "I thought the guy was trying to kill us obviously," said Calderazzo. "You know you don't know what's going through your mind. Is he going to put the car in reverse? Is he going to turn around? Is he going to stop and pull out a gun? You don't know what's going on." The Pontiac driver, a serial traffic offender named Robert Paul Vance, was picked up by police soon after the incident. He is charged with hit-and-run, a moving traffic violation, and aggravated battery. Pontiac Firebird in latest Generation Gap scrap
Tue, 30 Sep 2014Generation Gap is mining the Lingenfelter collection again this week to compare two very different interpretations of the Pontiac Firebird. An original 1968 example goes toe-to-toe with a 2010 Lingenfelter Trans Am to see whether the old man or the modern re-imagining takes the crown.
Being from the Lingenfelter collection, both cars are absolutely immaculate. The '68 packs a Pontiac 350-cubic-inch (5.7-liter) V8 with a claimed 320 horsepower and some classic, muscular style with a hood-mounted tach. Plus, it's painted in an understated shade of green that you don't usually see.
In the other corner is Lingenfelter's pumped-up take on the classic shape based on the modern Camaro, and this is just one of six concept versions ever made. It wears an eye-catching, vintage-inspired livery of blue with a white stripe package. Under its shaker hood is a 455-cubic-inch (7.5-liter) V8 with a reported 655 hp and 610 pound-feet of torque.
