This car is up for sale as my father has decided that it is time for him to rid of the majority of his car collection.
This car is 1986 Pontiac Fiero 2M6 SE. This car has the uncommon, powerful, and reliable 2.8L V6 paired to an automatic transmission. The cars runs and drives just as it should. The transmission shifts on time and smoothly.
The car has just under 78,000 ACTUAL miles and the condition of the car is consistent with this low mileage.
It is pewter in color with a light tan interior. In my opinion, both the exterior and the interior are in exceptional condition. The paint is near flawless. The interior is super clean. The headliner is the only aspect of the interior that needs any attention at all.
The car has power windows as well as power locks.
The car has a sunroof but I am unsure as to whether or not this is a factory option. Either way, it looks as if it was factory installed and it experiences absolutely NO leaks.
The car does have an aftermarket stereo head unit that functions as it should. This is the only aftermarket aspect of the interior. The only aftermarket aspect of the exterior is the protective bra on the front of the car.
The pop-up headlights function properly. I know that it is a common issue for these not to function properly on the Fieros.
The tires have roughly 80% tread life left. If I were buying the car, I would possibly consider having the wheels refinished although the current condition of the wheels may not bother you.
The air conditioner will need to be charged.
The car is believed to have three or four total owners with the most recent owner being a retired state policeman that really cared for the car.
We have a good amount of the original literature that came with the car from new that will accompany the car. The car carries a clean and clear title that is ready for transfer to a new owner. The car has no major issues or problems and no issue or problems that affect the drivability of the car.
The car is priced to sell fast at $3,800. The car is located in Henderson, KY.
I have tried to provide you with a basic overview of this Fiero. I am sure that I have left a few details out and if there is a detail that you are interested in knowing, please feel free to contact me by phone at (270) 748-1882. We greatly appreciate your interest!

GM recalling 8.4M cars, 8.2M related to ignition problems
Mon, 30 Jun 2014General Motors today announced a truly massive recall covering some 8.4 million vehicles in North America. Most significantly, 8.2 million examples of the affected vehicles are being called back due to "unintended ignition key rotation," though GM spokesperson Alan Adler tells Autoblog that this issue is not like the infamous Chevy Cobalt ignition switch fiasco.
For the sake of perspective, translated to US population, this total recall figure would equal a car for each resident of New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Montana, Delaware, South Dakota, Alaska, North Dakota, the District of Columbia, Vermont and Wyoming. Combined. Here's how it all breaks down:
7,610,862 vehicles in North America being recalled for unintended ignition key rotation. 6,805,679 are in the United States.
Pontiac Aztek enjoys rebirth thanks to Millennials
Fri, Sep 11 2015Apparently, Millennials – those between 18 and 34 – aren't afraid to look different on the road, and they like performance, too. A new study by Edmunds is discovering some surprising vehicle choices by this group. Among them, the long-derided Pontiac Aztek is getting a new day in the sun with 25.5 percent its buyers coming from this generation in the first half of 2015. For comparison, Millennials represent an average of 16.8 percent of used car purchases. The Aztek is slowly shaking its reputation as a styling abomination, which seems tied to its appearance on Breaking Bad. The show premiered in 2008, and the Pontiac has been on this list for four of the past five years, according to Edmunds. It even led the pack in 2010. A recent Retro Review from MotorWeek also showed that the crossover wasn't always so hated. While it's still a shock to see the Aztek on any popularity list, the awkward-looking crossover only ranks sixth among Millennials. The vehicle with the biggest portion of buyers from the generation is the Dodge Magnum with 27.6 percent. According to Edmunds, the bluntly styled wagon is especially popular in Detroit and Chicago. The Chrysler Pacifica comes in a close second at 27.3 percent. When it comes to used cars, value and utility appear to trump just about anything else for many Millennial buyers," Edmunds analyst Jeremy Acevedo said in the report. Young buyers aren't afraid of sporty rides, either. The Subaru WRX has 26.4 percent Millennial buyers to rank third place on the list, and the Volkswagen R32 takes fifth at 25.7 percent. Just a few points lower in seventh place is the Nissan GT-R at 25.4 percent, and the final performance machine in 10th place is the Lexus IS-F with 24.7 percent. Related Video:
Rent the 1967 Pontiac GTO from the XxX films now on Turo
Tue, Jan 10 2017The process of renting a car usually ranges from mildly annoying to "I'm calling corporate to get you fired." Plainly, it sucks, but sometimes you're left with no alternative. Turo, a peer-to-peer carsharing network, has created what's essentially the AirBnB for cars. Like AirBnB, the quality and variety of the rides varies based on location. If you're in Tucson, Ariz., in the next week, go check out this 1967 Pontiac GTO convertible before the release of XxX: The Return of Xander Cage. Promotions and marketing aside, this is still the opportunity to drive one of the original muscle cars. It's not clear if this is an original GTO or a Pontiac Tempest that was converted, but does it really matter? Old cars never drive as well as you hope, so, as long as it looks and sounds awesome, who cares? The owner listed on Turo is Xander C., Vin Diesel's character from the XxX franchise. This is the car that was used in the original 2002 film, and from the photos it appears to be in better shape than many other movie cars. The exterior is mostly stock, with some slight modifications to the lighting, wheels, exhaust, and trim, with the addition of a funky looking hood scoop that the listing claims shoots flames. It's not clear if it functions as an actual intake because there aren't any notes about what rests under the hood. The listing does ask for premium fuel, so more than likely it's some variation of a high-compression V8. Inside, the dashboard looks like someone raided the AutoZone accessory aisle. There are gauges, dials, toggle switches, and readouts galore. The listing also claims the Goat is packing a rocket launcher and a weapons stash under the seat. $999 per day isn't cheap, but it's less than you'd pay for a day with one of the rent-an-exotic shops you see in Los Angeles or New York. If you're not in Tucson or the price is a little too steep, Turo has what it's dubbed the Adrenaline Collection. The name may be hyperbole, but the lineup of cars is actually really solid. A quick glance reveals a 2015 Lamborghini Huracan, 2001 Ferrari 360 Spider, and a 1969 Jaguar E-Type. The car list keeps expanding, so if this proves popular, look for more cool stuff in the future.
